When driving up to house we were met with a very unkept entrance of overgrown weeds/vegetation. The outside of house was very much in need of paint. The garage doors were rusted and the auto opening mechanism was rusted off. Manually opening doors were extremely hard. Inside the house was dated and not luxurious as title of home. It was clean, but not organized in kitchen at all. Ice maker was almost non functioning made a few cubes a day. On day three of our stay we started having electrical issues with the house. No internet, and lights surged off and on. We contacted to owner but it was too late in evening to send electrician so we were basically without lights and internet all evening. One of our guest had to stay home to wait on electrician the next day. When he came, he said the electrical box was rusted out and electrical lines were touching so he wrapped a tee shirt around the lines inside the box and covered with trash can. To say the least, no way it was code. That night the lights started going off and on again and we some guest went outside to walk the beach and saw flames shooting out from the box. By this time it was very late but I called the owner again and they said they would get us a hotel room at motel 6 in Houston. No one in our group wanted to pack the house up at 11:00 pm and drive that far so we declined. Eventually they called again and could get us rooms in Galveston. We all were exhausted and no way ready to pack up a house and move to hotel
