The brand new two full bathrooms offer the option of a tub/shower on the upper level or walk-in shower on the lower level. Lace Leaf Cabin was extensively remodeled in 2025 with vacation rental guests at the heart of every decision. The cabin has an updated kitchen and two new luxury bathrooms, features brand new flooring, furniture, electronics, appliances, kitchenware, bedding and decor. The vibe is high-end finishes, modern conveniences where you need it with a touch of rustic cabin charm.

LOCATION:
Cedar Lake is a pristine and picturesque lake spanning over 838 acres. The clear and calm waters are ideal for fishing a variety of species, including largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, yellow perch, and bluegill, among others. Cedar Lake is also home to several bird and wildlife species, including bald eagles, loons, and deer. Two public access launches are available at the lake, including one next to the swimming beach and playground at Schroeder Park. With its ample space for water activities and relaxation, stunning natural surroundings, and a shoreline dotted with cabins and cottages, Cedar Lake offers a unique and memorable experience for visitors seeking a quiet getaway.

BEDROOMS:
Lace Leaf Cabin offers four newly-updated bedrooms with a cozy cabin vibe, fresh linens and a focus on your rest and comfort.

KITCHEN & DINING:
The newly-updated kitchen has large quartz countertops, farmhouse sink and is fully-equipped with modern appliances and cookware, perfect for staying in to enjoy a home-cooked meal. A farmhouse dining table provides seating for all guests and the kitchen seats two at the breakfast bar.

LIVING SPACE:
Guests are welcomed into a bright open living space with a plush sectional and comfy reading chairs by the cozy fireplace. With picture windows providing fabulous lake views and access to the large deck, the living area is the perfect place to gather.

BATHROOMS:
The brand new main floor bathroom is fitted with a dual-vanity, plenty of storage and large soaking tub with shower over. In the lower level the bathroom features a large glass shower enclosure and underfloor heat. Fresh plush white towels and luxury soaps and toiletries are provided for your stay.

OUTDOORS:
With direct access to a private dock on Cedar Lake, spacious deck, fire pit, gas grill, lawn games and lake toys you will find plenty of opportunity to enjoy the beautiful outdoors at Lace Leaf Cabin.

KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK:
Lace Leaf Cabin was built in the 1930s and among its unique features is a low ceiling height in the kitchen – around 80 inches (6ft 8in), with a support beam at the kitchen entrance at around 6ft. The home may not be suitable if you have a taller chef in your group.

Bedroom four is a small single bedroom with a daybed with twin mattress and no closet (hanging hooks provided).

There are 5 steps up to the front door. There are also large uneven rock steps (no handrail) down to the lakeside area and dock.

The deck is a high balcony with a railing accessed from the main floor and has no access down to the lakeside.

The property contains smart devices such as smart thermostats, alarm system, smart smoke and CO alerts, smart TVs, water leak detection, septic system monitoring as well as a single outdoor security camera.

Check-in & Check-out
Please plan to arrive after 3:00 pm. Check-out time is no later than 10:00 am on the last day of your stay.

Security
Lock the cabin doors and close windows every time you leave the property. By making your reservation you acknowledge that you are responsible for the security of the home during your stay and that the owners are not responsible for any loss of or damage to your personal property.

Occupancy
We welcome families or groups of up to maximum seven (7) registered guests who are looking to relax and enjoy the amenities and peaceful environment our home has to offer. Strictly no parties or unauthorized gatherings of non-registered guests are allowed. Main renter should be 25 years of age or older. Guests should not trespass on neighboring property. Property boundaries are marked on the aerial map and with decorative lawn stakes near to the lakeside. The main renter must have message notifications turned on and be able to respond to the host during the entire stay.

Noise
Lace Leaf Cabin is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Please respect our neighbors. Noise in general should be kept to property boundaries at all times. Quiet times are enforced between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. Louder conversations and any music should be taken indoors after 10:00 pm, at which time noise should be inaudible from outside the home. If we receive noise complaints from neighbors, we may ask the booking agent to cancel the booking with immediate effect.

Damage
Guests must return the home in the same condition as when it was rented (except for normal cleaning). To facilitate this we ask for shoes to be removed inside the home. We also ask for no dyes, glitter or confetti inside the home. No candles, matches or open flame to be brought from outside. No stains on soft furnishings or damage to floors, walls, furniture, appliances or countertops etc. No bicycles, fishing gear or sports gear inside the home – please ask for garage access. We know that glasses, plates, etc. sometimes break - we just ask that you let us know so we can replace them. The gas grill should not be moved from its provided location. The gas grill and firepit are not to be left unattended when in use and the firepit is to be fully extinguished before retiring inside. Burn restrictions in the locality must be followed, and the firepit must not be used during periods of elevated fire risk (high wind or extreme dryness).

Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside or outside the home within property boundaries. That includes no smoking on the deck, patio or dock.

Camera
We have an exterior security camera located at the garage pointing to the roadside of the home. No cameras are placed inside or with any view of the interior of the property or lakeside. Do not tamper with the camera or turn off the Wi-Fi during your stay.

Parking
Maximum three (3) regular-size vehicles should be parked only in dedicated parking spots. Corinna Township ordinance prohibits vacation rental guests from obstructing public roadways. No oversize trucks or buses, RVs, tents, fish-houses, campers or similar may be brought on property. Any vehicles improperly parked will be towed at the Guest's expense.

Pets
Lace Leaf Cabin is not pet-friendly, and guests’ animals should be left at home. Guests with allergies should be aware that the owner’s pets have been at the property infrequently, but cleanliness standards are meticulously maintained.

Septic System
Lace Leaf Cabin has a sensitive lakeside septic system. No sanitary products, facial tissues, paper towels, Q-Tips, wipes (of any kind) should be flushed down toilets. No food waste, cooking oils, grease or fat, coffee grounds, bleach, harsh chemicals or solvents should be put down sink drains. Guests will be responsible for the call-out charge for septic blockages resulting from misuse during your stay.

Lake
You understand that swimming and use of the lake is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved. You understand there are potential dangers of a lake to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as danger to any person with health risks, intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You and all registered guests in your party understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party, and hold the property owner harmless. A separate, additional waiver will be required to be signed for use of host's kayak/lake toys at the property. If you plan to bring your own boat, watercraft or lake gear to Cedar Lake you should adhere to best practices to prevent the spread of Aquatic Invasive Species.
