Nice, centralized location on the edge of a historic neighborhood. The hosts were great at communication. The bunk room, with three sets of bunk beds was perfect for our group, as we were in town for a Treble Festival. Lots of nice space for everyone. The kitchen table with benches was very accommodating. The two family room areas are both on the main "open concept" floor, separated by the kitchen, so while the space is nice, it feels more like one big living area because of the open concept plan - that is, don't plan on watching two different television programs. Bedrooms were nice and having a laundry room on the upper level was great. In the master bedroom shower, I didn't understand why there were no shelves in the shower to put your soap or shampoo. You could only put something on the shower floor, which I didn't like. Secondly, I felt that the house needed an interior paint job as the flat paint used throughout made the house feel dirty, when it really wasn't, due to all of the scuff marks on the walls, particularly the stairwell. A nice eggshell sheen or something more washable would have been appreciated, particularly for a rental property. Otherwise, great space and filled our needs nicely.
