Just HALF a BLOCK from the DOWNTOWN strip, enjoy easy access to nightlife, 24-hour restaurants, grocery stores, and the Crystal City Underground Mall. Property is perfectly located for walking in Crystal City. Beds were very comfortable and linens were clean. Quiet, walkable neighborhood. Communication was excellent and they were ok with me arriving a bit early. Check in and check out were as easy as can be imagined. The only drawbacks for us was that the furniture in the living room was not comfortable at all. There’s a sofa and two children’s chairs in a five bedroom home. Also the iron had seen better days. Kitchen was well apportioned.

All over good stay, just a few things to improve on. Some outlets didn’t work, mainly in kitchen…not a deal breaker, no paper towels, no dish rags, only 3 coffee pods, no coffee or filters for regular pot, we stayed 5 days, 7 people and were on our last roll of towel paper, just one towel and one wash rag per guest, no Klenexes in the whole house. Just be ready to go to the store when u get there and cvs is the closest . No game or cards, bring your own. No maps or information on what is close and good. I give La Bettina Italiano a 5star is was a great place to eat and Bob and Edith’s Diner a 5Star for breakfast, both places couple blocks away. Also the church next to house kept our bags for the day, we gave them a nice donation. Because we had to be checked out by 11 and our flight was at 5:50pm

Faisal was a great at communicating and check in was easy. We loved the location which was just an easy 15 minute walk from the Metro and the neighborhood which was safe. The kids enjoyed the beautiful playground across the street. The pictures were mostly accurate though a TV was missing in the bedroom with the mini fridge. The kitchen was spacious and as a family of nine there was plenty of room for all of us. Some tips for improvement would be extra cutlery in the kitchen as it only had five forks. Additionally, there was no sheet between the fitted sheet and comforter. There was only one smoke detector that I saw on the entire three floors and none on the floor with the kitchen. The patio was nice but I wish there were cushions on the furniture as it was unusable. There was also trash on the front porch and some clutter throughout the house. When we arrived and turned on the TV we were trying to figure out how to get it working and saw the previous guests didn't clear out the internet tab which had porn clips on. This should've been cleared out before new guests arrived (especially considering we had children with us).Also, while the pictures were accurate the furniture was not enough for a five bedroom house. There were only six dining chairs and a couch that could fit three people. So we couldn't watch a movie or play games altogether.

Sarah, We are glad you liked the property and the location. Generally we don't write responses to our guest reviews but we did a thorough inspection of the property after your checkout and review and I wanted to add this response as we wish to provide true guidance to our future guests: 1. We checked and there were enough silverware, knives, forks and utensils in the kitchen good for a max stay of ten people. We still have added one set more based on your request. 2. We couldnt find any clutter anywhere. We have a professional maid service which provides us before and after pictures. We have an inspector who does multi-point inspection before each check-in, so I am not sure where the gaps were. 3. There are three smoke and mono-oxide detectors in the house, one at each level. 4. We have a weekly trash pickup service for outside bins. Inside bins are cleaned after each checkout by our maid service. 5. We have fitted sheets for each bed along with extra fitted sheets in the linen closet. 7. We found out that our past guest removed the TV from the bedroom but it has been installed on the wall once again by our crew. Thanks for letting us know. 6. We have notified our inspection team to clear out memory of TV after each check-out. We take our guest reviews very seriously and continue to improve so that we can provide our guests with a 5 star stay and a home like feeling. Regards

List price per night was too high for the quality of the property. While the house itself was large for the number of people it can accommodate, there was much to be desired with it. The living room had virtually nowhere to sit other than a small couch and 2 kid chairs. No deck (sliding door had wooden fence across it) but pretty backyard. It was very dark inside the house, and some of the light switches didn’t work (or didn’t have any lights attached to those switches). One of the rooms had nothing but a bed and a lamp, and all rooms had double or Queen beds. It was clean and had nice dishes, but there were few forks and no spatulas, which made cooking difficult. (Owner did say he was ordering one, but it wouldn’t be there in time for us to use it.). Owner was responsive and it was clean. Bathrooms needed to be updated—upstairs shower in Jack and Jill bathroom was not comfortable to use, but the downstairs bathroom had a nice, updated shower . The area of Crystal City and neighborhood are really nice, but we were just disappointed by the value of the property itself for the amount of money that we spent.
