Kotimme epÀilemÀttÀ ilahduttaa sinua yksityiskohdissa. Halusitpa hiihtÀÀ sydÀmesi kyllyydestÀ tai kÀperry ja lukea kirjaa katsellen upea view-- kotimme tarjoaa tÀydellinen paikka sinulle ja perheellesi. Ostimme tÀmÀn kotiin vuonna 2010, koska me rakastui mitÀ mainostettiin "Million Dollar NÀytÀ". Poika, olivat ne oikeassa !! Auringonlasku on kunnioitusta herÀttÀvÀ. Me perattu talo, rakennettu lisÀksi kaksinkertaiseksi home-- ja nyt tuoda 3 lapsille nauttia hiihto, kelkkailua, ja vuoristo vaellus.

Nyt tiedot:
Kotimme mahtuu 7 henkilöÀ. Makuuhuone on erittÀin mukava king size bed-- hÀnen ja hÀnen patjat rauhanomaisen yöunia. Uusi taulu-tv ja oma kylpyhuone tarjoavat mahdollisuuden hiipiÀ pois hiljaista aikaa ja rentoutumista.

Yksi vieras makuuhuoneessa on 1 queen-vuode ja 1 Twin TV. Yksi vieras makuuhuoneessa on 1 queen bed.

Avoin olohuone suunnitelma on iso ruokapöytÀ 8 tuolia, baari 3 ulosteet, ja kaksi takka katsottuna sekÀ ruokailutilat ja olohuone. Olohuoneessa on erittÀin mukava ja astuu meidÀn suljettu sunroom ihana iltapÀivÀllÀ rentoutumista. Takaisin kansi on mukava rokkareita ja sÀhkögrilli. Juoda kahvia tai viiniÀ kannella ja katsella auringon nousua tai asettaa. Amazing katselua!

KesÀisin vieraat, huomaa, ettÀ kotimme samoin kuin useimmat ominaisuudet vuorella ei ole ilmastointi. LÀmpötilat pÀivisin ovat yleensÀ ylemmÀssÀ 60 / alhainen 70s ja saattaa satunnaisesti saada jopa puolivÀlissÀ / ylempi 70s tiettyinÀ pÀivinÀ. LÀmpötila voi saada melko kylmÀ iltaisin. Vieraamme rakastavat avata kaikki ikkunat kesÀllÀ ja nauttia viileÀ tuulista ulkopuolelta. On lattiasta faneja kaapit ja suuri kattotuuletin oleskelutilassa talon.

MeidÀn koko koti on 1-tason, joka on loistavia ihmisiÀ, jotka pitÀvÀt kovia portaiden kiipeÀminen. MeillÀ on off-kadun PysÀköinti 2 ajoneuvoihin, ja siellÀ on noin 6 askelmaa alas kÀvelytietÀ meidÀn oven. Talviaikaan vieraat, tietÀkÀÀ, ettÀ Beech Mountain edellyttÀÀ, ettÀ on 4-veto ajoneuvon talvikuukausina. Ne eivÀt kyntÀÀ tiet usein lumisateessa, mutta ÀlÀ yritÀ nostavat vuoren talvella ilman asianmukaista ajoneuvoa.

Loved our stay here. The view was amazing! The house was nice and cozy. Our dogs were happy too. Got lucky with spring skiing at beech mountain! Communication with the owners was amazing.

Great deal for families!

This was our third time visiting Beech Mountain. This house is very suitable for a family of 4 to 6 people. The location is excellent and the size of the house is perfect. I recommend it 100%.

Thanksgiving stay 2021

The house was very comfortable, the fireplace was very nice to cozy up by. Would definitely rent this place again if we come back with no family although It would have slept six (3 couples) comfortably. Short drive in to downtown Beech and not much farther into Banner Elk. Many good restaurants to choose from (Stonewalls, Sorrento’s, and Alpen Inn among others).

Magnificent Mountain Views

Property is in a great location, convenient to hiking trails and the Beech Mountain Club. The mountain view is spectacular, especially sunsets! This property has a mountain cabin feel with everything you need, but could use updated bathrooms. Towels and sheets were nice, as were the furnishings and decor. Air conditioning was a plus as we visited during August.

A great location

Our family had a pleasant stay here. The house was clean, cozy and obviously the landlord takes care of it very well. The check-in was easy and the landlord was very responsive. The only thing I would recommend is to have a bigger/better water heater as we used both baths at the same time and the hot water ran out quickly. The area is very nice; just that the weather last weekend there was disappointing otherwise we would have a perfect weekend escape.

Amazing home with true million dollar vie

Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday in this beautiful home! The views were gorgeous and the home was very comfortable. Julianne went above and beyond to check in on us and meet our needs. We arrived to a snowy wonderland which made snowboarding, hiking, and exploring a great experience.

Memorial Day Getaway

We had a wonderful time in Beech Mountain. Once the fog lifted, it revealed the most magnificent view. There was nothing better than sitting out on the deck with a cup of coffee and take in the scenery. Communication with the property manager was excellent and very attentive. If you are wanting a weekend away to lose yourself in the mountains, this is it!

Best Ever

Our group has been to Beech Mountain several times over the years and this house was the best ever. Other than the view, we most appreciated the one level home. Many are actually 3-level. The ease of entry - many have many stairs just to enter. We loved the privacy. You could not see or hear other homes around. Surprisingly towards the end of August, it was too warm to justify using the fireplace in the evening but we enjoyed every other aspect of the house. I would look no further for future rentals at Beech.

Summer morning coffee on the deck...heaven

A stunning setting for a beautiful getaway. Yes! A hundred mile view over trimmed trees. Well-kept and equipped house, easy to live in. We visited Laurel Creek Falls, swam and jumped. Ask the locals what they call the falls. We rode at Dutch Creek Stables, a return to an earlier time. Our seven and nine year-olds loved it. n.b. Update your Garmin before you drive. Waze seems to work. A paper map would work best.

Spectacular views

Great location and spectacular views. Went went to ski but unfortunately we’re unable to as all stores ran out of equipment (before 9am). The reason I did not give 5 stars was because of housekeeping. It appeared that the housekeeping crew had not washed the covers in the primary. When I reached out to Julianne, she was prompt, gracious, and kind about the situation. I have no doubt that will be an issue no longer.

Nice property and view, but maintenance was subpar.

They weren’t lying that the view is amazing. It is spectacular. The owners have done their best to organize and label the space. Too bad their property manager takes advantage of having an absentee landlord and ruined the entire experience for us. We arrived late Friday evening and found there were no kitchen trash bags. The owner quickly coordinated having the property manager arrive 30 minutes later with replacements. While waiting, I found there were no paper towels but was told by the property manager when she arrived they were not provided and I could buy some at the local grocery store. No big deal, I can handle buying a roll of paper towels. The wheels fell off when we found all of the glasses and mugs had hardened food crust on them. When I tried to clean them, I found there was no dish soap to wash them. Silverware also had food residue left on them. When making dinner, I found the majority of the cookware was also dirty with food residue and oddly enough human hair. Even worse? The cast iron skillet was crusted with burnt food residue that turned my cooking oil black. BLACK. Sitting down for dinner at the table, my daughter put her elbows on the table only to yelp because there was broken glass on the table which cut her arm. I also stepped on a shard of glass in the kitchen later that night. Suspecting that nothing in the kitchen resembled cleanliness, we loaded the dishwasher and crossed our fingers. Apparently the dishwasher doesn’t actually clean the dishes. It just rinses them. That explains why all the dishes and silverware were dirty. Apparently, the property manager just puts the dishes away without checking them, doesn’t wipe down surfaces or sweep the floor. It’s unfortunate because the beds are comfortable and the view is amazing. Regardless, we are definitely never booking this place ever again.

Relax and enjoy the view!

This mountain house had a good central location on Beech mountain, so there was easy access to everything. The house was well appointed, with good bathrooms and a modern well-supplied kitchen. The deck had great sunset views of the mountains! Very nice home just as it was advertised.

Beautiful views

Let me start by saying that the house has beautiful views as described by the owner. It has the western sunset so in the winter that is perfect in the summer not so much as it is pretty hot When we got there, the AC was not working and did not work for two days. The owner was very responsive however she couldn’t get somebody Out there the same day and of course it was hot because it was summer. I gave it a four star overall Because there were other issues that were not kept up in the house These were basic maintenance issues. The tub didn’t drain. The floors are buckling. The furniture is worn. Half of the blinds were broken and we couldn’t open up the windows when the AC did not work. It was pretty clean. It just needed a lot of TLC. I would’ve given it a three stars, but it was pretty inexpensive so for the price I gave it a four stars.

This home does have a great view!!

Cozy home that has been well cared for with an amazing view. I cannot say this enough - the view was tremendous! The neighborhood was very quiet and you did not directly see any of your neighbors. This made you feel more isolated - bonus! Easy driveway to navigate with snow. Good areas to walk or hike. We watched it snow, played hours of board games and welcomed in the new year. Thank you!!!!

Beautiful views, needs some updates

The property definitely has great views, our #1 request! It is fairly well equipped, however would benefit from new mattress covers, sheets, a sharp knife or two and better TV programming, which was bare bones during our stay. There are no closets in two of the bedrooms. Our primary concern was the smell of grease, which was overwhelming when we first arrived. We had to open windows! There is no ventilation to the outside in the kitchen (or with the fireplace that we could tell). The owner was very nice and responded quickly to some questions we had. The property was not advertised to be 5 star but it does need some work,. even at the current reasonable price.

Fall break getaway

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful mountain house. It’s even prettier and more spacious than the pictures give it credit for. It was everything we needed with plenty of room and lots of bright light with the vaulted ceiling and large windows, and it has an amazing view for miles and miles. It faces the west, so you a breathtaking sunset each night. The sunroom was perfect when it was too cold or windy to enjoy the deck, but you can still get to soak up the peaceful view. It was clean, well stocked, and all the crucial information you may need is well documented and given to you in advance. Would absolutely recommend this house without any reservation and would stay here again!

Love this house

We liked our stay at this place. It has gorgeous view from the deck. We were even able to walk to the Sunset park. Rooms are clean with everything ready when we moved in. The property manager is very helpful in answering our questions.

Overall good stay

This is a hard house to rate, as there are pros and cons (as with every VRBO) and a perfect rating would be 3.8 I rate it a 4 because it is a spacious house with updates. There is a large deck and we enjoyed the glass enclosed sitting area on days when the weather was rainy. The fireplace in the living room is beautiful and the back wall has lots of windows that lets in beautiful sunshine. Very friendly and helpful host who is very responsive. The view at sunset is beautiful and Wifi was excellent. The home is large enough for a family or friends getaway as the arrangement is good and the kitchen supplies are good. The location of the home is great for accessibility on and off the mountain. I would rate it a 3 because of cleanliness, overall maintenance, supplies provided and the musty smoky smell (smoking is not permitted) when we arrived. According to the host, the smoke was apparently due to maintenance personnel who were in the house before we arrived. Clearly not the fault of the host but still frustrating. Tips for future renters: 1. Bring your own tissues and hand soap. 2. The owner has a “social membership” at the Beech Mountain Club which allows use of the “pool, fitness center, dining venues, and social activities”. Also, a social membership does not allow access to golf, tennis, pickleball, or fitness classes. To use these facilities requires a significant (and for me prohibitive) cost upgrade payable to the Beech Mountain Club. Instead we played Sugar Mountain and Boone Golf Club. Both good courses.

Wonderful in every way

We loved this place. The decor was lovely, everything well stocked, clean, and comfy. The neighborhood was delightful. The view was magnificent. Most of the days were cloudy and we enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the clouds moving and the constant changing of the weather. We did have times that it all cleared and we could see forever. The deck faces west so the sun is pretty intense for a good part of the afternoon but the mornings and evenings were amazing. We enjoyed the brewery and the ski lift at the Beech Mountain ski Resort which was walking distance from the house. We attended the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games on Saturday. Our son participated in the solo bagpipe grade 2 competition and won 1 st in the piehaerbrachd. I know I spelled it wrong. Wonderful place

After years of looking for just the perfect place-- we found our little 'Million Dollar View' in one of those Real Estate magazines. Although the property initially needed a lot of work-- we couldn't pass up the view. It truly is magical. The property had wonderful bones, and we knew with a full renovation-- we could make this property something really special for our family and hopefully yours. We currently live full time in Charleston, SC and we love to visit our mountain house when we can.
