Located on a quiet street centrally located near Granlibakken and Tahoe City, this 4 Bedroom / 2.5 Bath home is an ideal home base for a group of family or friends looking to take in all that Lake Tahoe has to offer! With room for 8 - 9 guests, a functional and open layout, convenient level parking, EV Charger, natural setting and private hot tub, this is the perfect cabin to make memories with family or friends.
On the main / upper level of this split-level cabin, you'll enjoy the sun-filled great room (living room, kitchen, dining area) with vaulted ceiling and large windows that make this the ideal place to gather together and enjoy each other’s company. Sit around the large rock wood-burning fireplace on a cold winter day or watch your favorite movie for a relaxing night at home. And during the warmer months, this room feeds directly out to the spacious decks (front and rear) where you’ll enjoy outdoor dining, a gas grill, and lounge chairs that effectively blend outdoor and indoor living. Or, take a soak in the private hot tub out back and leave all of your worries behind!
Seating won’t be an issue when it’s time to gather for a meal. The dining room table has enough room to accommodate 6 - 8 people. Plus there are 2 additional seats at the adjacent kitchen counter bar. The open-concept great room makes it easy to talk, serve drinks, or even help out in the kitchen from the living room or dining area.

Bedroom 1 (main / upper level) - Primary Suite with King Bed
Enjoy vaulted ceilings, a large Flat Screen TV (with Chromecast) and Private Desk / Workspace. You’ll love the en-suite bathroom with dual vanities, walk-in shower and large soaking tub.
Bedroom 2 (main / upper level) - Twin fold out sofa bed
This is a smaller room located on the main floor just off the living room and can be used as an extra sleeping space for one guest, a separate den area, or a private office space. The room contains a twin sleep sofa bed, flat screen SmartTV and desk / workspace area.
Bedroom 3 (lower level) - Queen Bed
Bedroom 3 is equipped with a queen sized bed, a small Flat Screen TV (with Chromecast) and private desk / workspace. This bedroom shares a bathroom with Bedroom 4 and is located just outside the room.
Bedroom 4 (lower level) - 4 Twin Beds
This bedroom can be found on the lower floor near Bedroom 3 and has two sets of twin bunk beds (4 twins in total). This bedroom shares a bathroom with Bedroom 3 and is located just outside the room.

No events or parties. This is not a party house and is best suitable for those looking to enjoy a peaceful time in the mountains.

There is parking for 2 cars in the garage and 2 cars on the driveway. Note that there is no street parking allowed at any Short Term Rental Property (per county ordinance).
No outdoor fires or charcoal bbq’s allowed per county ordinance. On red flag days, no open flame allowed (i.e. no use of propane grill).
Trash must be properly disposed of within the metal bear bin alongside driveway. Do not leave any food or beverages in your vehicle as bears will not hesitate to help themselves to your goodies and can cause significant vehicle damage.
Home must be properly secured (doors locked, windows closed / locked) whenever not present in the home.
The driveway is on a seasonal plow service, whereas they come once per day when it snows more than 6 inches. They generally follow the road plows and will first clear the berms at the end of the driveway. You’ll need to move your cars so that the plows can access and clear the driveway (which takes less than 5 minutes once cars are out of the way).
The easiest way to enter the house is through the attached garage under the deck. There are steps that lead up from the driveway to the front entry door. We do our best to ensure reasonable access to the property, but depending on the timing of your arrival (if during or immediately following a storm), there maybe some snow that needs shoveling. There are shovels located in the garage that can be used by guests, but we recommend that you travel with a shovel during winter conditions.
WINTER ADVISORY: By reserving this house during the winter months (November - April), you acknowledge that you will be traveling into the mountains and that winter storms are common and often unpredictable. The dates that you are choosing to reserve are being held for your group and are therefore unavailable for other groups to reserve. In all cases, our cancellation policy will prevail. There will be no consideration afforded for difficult travel due to winter weather condition. We strongly advise that you pay attention to incoming storms and / or changes in weather patterns in order to help avoid travel delays or disruptions. It is also strongly advised that you travel with a 4WD or AWD vehicle, carry snow chains , and have a shovel that can be used if needed to dig out a stuck vehicle.
ALL SEASONS ADVISORY: By reserving this house, you acknowledge that you will be traveling to the mountains and that Lake Tahoe (while beautiful) is in a natural forest setting. As such, it is possible that you may encounter spiders, ants, field mice, etc. at properties throughout the area. We take every proactive measure to prevent pests from finding their way inside the property (i.e. regular cleanings, seasonal deep cleanings, routine pest control - i.e. spray perimeter and crawl space areas, set traps, seal up holes of entry, etc.). Despite those efforts, there’s always a rare possibility that pests can find their way inside the home (as it only takes a very small entry point for that to occur). This is simply a reality of living in the mountains. By accepting our house rules, you acknowledge this Advisory and agree that there will be no refunds or adjustments to pricing should you encounter a pest(s) within the home.
