Nestled between Lake Houston and the Greens Bayou Wetlands, the community is brimming with lush trees, scenic walking trails, and peaceful water featuresâperfect for summer strolls or kayaking adventures .
One of my favorite things about this area in Humble is the sunny charm of the two on-site lakesâLake Anne and Lake Meredithâalong with the community pools, splash pad, tennis courts, volleyball sand pit, and clubhouses. It creates a resort-like vibe right at home, especially great on warm summer weekends .
Summerwood is more than just beautifulâitâs friendly. Itâs a tight-knit community with a smallâtown feel: neighbors look out for each other, kids play freely on sidewalks, and it's common to borrow a cup of sugar or help a neighbor with a project .
Finally, itâs incredibly convenient: located inside Beltway 8 and near West Lake Houston Parkway, residents can get to downtown Houston in about 15 minutes via the tollway, or hop to IAH within minutes .
