Night Heron -2BR w/Loft- Great Sea Pines Location!
Night Heron Loft's individual cottages, built on a pedestal, are located just a very short walk down a path to the beach in fabulous Sea Pines Plantation. There are only a few cottages like this surrounded by woods, so it is very private and quiet. In addition to the short walk to the beach, a large outdoor pool is just steps away. Sea Pines Beach Club is also close by.
THE SPACE
Night Heron Villas have a community pool and are conveniently located close to beach access, a five-minute drive to The Sea Pines Beach Club and Atlantic Dunes/Heron Point Golf Club, and about 10-minute drive to Harbour Town or South Beach Marina Village. Close to the Sea Pines Ocean Gate, Night Heron Villas are minutes away from the nightlife, shopping, dining, and entertainment of the south end of Hilton Head Island in Coligny.
You will feel right at home in this quaint standalone 2BR/2BA w/ Loft 3rd Bedroom villa that has vaulted ceilings and Living Room with fireplace. It features an open Kitchen and large Island for Dining with glass doors to the deck with wooded or lagoon views. Living room also has glass doors that lead to the deck.
This unit sleeps 6 guests with a King suite, Queen Suite, and Loft with 2 Twin beds. The spiral staircase to the 3rd bedroom Loft adds to its charming features.
You can also bring an air mattress and use it to sleep additional guests, to make this a sleeps 8 unit.
GARDEN VIEW CATEGORY:
Garden View Category: There is no view of the ocean from this unit, and the view type category is considered “Garden View.”
It is possible to walk to Beach access, but since this is a large property, it can be a longer walk to the beach from certain sections of the resort versus other areas.
If you have a lot of beach gear, or small children, it might not be practical to walk to the beach from this unit in the summer heat. Your best option might be to drive to the parking area(s) for beach access.
STAIRS / ACCESSIBILITY:
All at this resort have a certain number of stairs leading to the Front Door of the unit. The interiors have a Spiral staircase leading to the Loft 3rd bedroom.
For this specific unit:
Exterior Stairs to Front Door – 16 steps
Interior Stairs to Loft 3rd Bedroom – 12 steps
UNIT INTERIORS:
This property was originally constructed in the late 1980's and early 1990's, and was one of the original Marriott properties on Hilton Head Island.
Recent renovations in 2024 include the entire interior newly painted, new flooring, remodeled Kitchen, remodeled Bathrooms, new TV, new Appliances, and new 14" plush mattresses in all bedrooms.
The benefits offered by this resort is the convenient overall location inside Sea Pines, with easy access to some of the best bike and hiking trails on HHI. You also have easy access to the Beach and Harbour Town. You also benefit from these spacious units being priced lower than comparable options of the same size in the area.
GUEST ACCESS
Your unit is private, but since this community is a mix between fulltime Owners and part time Owners, Amenities will be shared with other Owners and Guests (Pool, Common grounds, etc).
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 25 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. If a security deposit is required, it will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room.
- Night Heron at Sea Pines is professionally managed and operated by The Club Group LLC. They have a Front Desk staffed for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance during your stay. Office hours are 9am-5pm M-F, Saturdays 3-7pm.
- Check In on Saturday. Check In time is between 3:00pm and 7:00pm. There is a possibility for Check In as early as 3:00pm, but there are no guarantees on that as it depends on if the unit has been cleaned and ready for turnover early.
- You will receive an email the week of your Check In date with instructions for Check In procedure.
- You will be picking up your gate pass at the Sea Pines Welcome Center drive up window (big building on right before the guard gate) Just follow the signs to drive behind the building. Provide the name the reservation is under Villashares, your Resort name and Villa number to pick up your pass.
- Key Pick-up/ Drop off & After Hour Pick-up: Pick/drop-off your keys up at 71 Lighthouse Rd Suite 300 (Locate on the 2nd floor at The Shops at Sea Pines Center) After hours pick-ups there is a lock box located on the wall outside of our office door, there will be an envelope with your name on it.
- Late Check In: The Front Desk / Office is open until 7pm. If you think you will arrive after those hours, you will need to contact the Front Desk and get the code to the lockbox for your key. Then the following morning you should follow up with the Front Desk / Office to make sure you have everything needed.
- Check Out is 10:00am.
- Two FREE parking passes included with this unit, which you will receive from the Front Desk at Check In. If you need parking for an additional vehicle you can arrange this directly with the Front Desk / Office.
- Bedding linens, including blankets, sheets, and pillows are provided. However, if have you have any favorites blankets or pillows, or if you sleep better using a certain type of pillow, it would be good to bring your own.
- Unfortunately, NO cribs or extra beds are available. If you need extra sleeping accommodations it might be a good idea to bring an air mattress.
- Bath and Hand towels are provided for you and will be inside your unit when you arrive.
- There is no daily housekeeping provided. However your unit does have a Washer / Dryer that is provided for you personal use only. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay, please schedule this directly with the Front Desk / Office.
- Each Unit will receive a "Starter Package" at Check In. Your unit will have basic supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, etc to get you thru the first day or two of your stay. However it is highly recommended to bring additional PAPER products (toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, etc) and your own CLEANING products (detergents, cleaners, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, etc). If you need any additional supplies that can be picked up from one of the local grocery stores.
- Pool / Beach towels are not provided. Each family should bring their own pool / beach towels
- You should bring your own beach chairs / beach blankets / umbrellas / equipment you want to use on the beach. If you don’t bring your own stuff, you are able to rent beach chairs / umbrellas on HHI.
- If you or any members of your family enjoy bike riding, I strongly recommend taking your own bikes (if you have the means to do so). Bikes are a great way to move around HHI. Bike Rentals are available on HHI if you don't bring your own. Remember to take your bike locks so you can lock up your bikes when needed.
- Pets are not permitted anywhere on or in the resort property.
- Once reservations are confirmed, you will be asked for the name and address of the main guest who will check in along with an email address to receive a personal confirmation.
