Great house, perfect locatikn

This is our fourth time staying here and it didn’t disappoint. The house is fully stocked, the pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained, and the location is perfect. It’s a short walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. There’s plenty for everyone to do. Jesus is wonderful to work with. We’re already looking forward to next year’s trip!

The house was perfect for our family beach vacation. The kitchen was well stocked and the entire house was clean and well kept. We rented a golf cart so getting to and from the beach was a breeze. The pool was a big plus especially in the evening after a day at the beach. It's close to stores, shops, and restaurants so we didn't have to drive everywhere.

There are a lot of steps. The view was worth the climb to the roof top deck.(sunrise to the east with coffee & sunsets to the west with wine). The grand kids loved the pool and hot tub.when we left the beach during a shower, the sprinkles did not bother them in the pool. They took over the loft and renamed it the cool kids club. They ate there ,did art projects there. They loved the room with bunk beds for all the cousins.The walk to the beach was easy and we made it several times a day. The beach wagon ,chairs and umbrellas were extremely helpful. We did stop a a dollar store for some additional kitchen towels and hand soap, All in all , a great time was had by all!

Everything was great!

Booking was easy. Owner was great, fast and easy communication. Check in was easy. House was clean and spacious. Walking distance to beach access, wagons and chairs provided. Quiet neighborhood. Close to grocery store, shops, food, and arcade. We had a great time. Would rent again.

Everything was clean and neat. Everything was in working order. This was our second time staying in this home. There were no issues everything was fantastic. Beautiful beach house

My family stayed in this homme for a week. 4 adults and 3 teens. The house was super clean, had everything we meeded to enjoy our week. The pool provided hours a of fun for all. I would recommend this home to family and friends and hope to stay here again.

Good house for long weekend!

My family really enjoyed this house! Great location to the beach and Corolla town center. Plenty of space and was kid friendly. Jesus had great communication and was very accommodating. Pool area is great. Only thing to note is that you need to bring your own towels, hand towels and all types of basic house items - dishwasher pods, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. but that’s about the only downside! Could use a little more seating jb living room for larger groups and better couch but was fine for our group.

Great location

This property was perfect for our group - 6 adults and 4 children. The location was great. It was a short walk to the beach in one direction and there were shops, restaurants, and water sports within a short walk the other way as well. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the crow’s nest which was the perfect place for morning coffee while watching the sun rise over the ocean.

Highly recommended!!

This house was perfect for us. The owner is top notch!! I sent him a message that the gas grill wasn’t working. The burners and back of the grill were both rusted out. He had a new grill delivered the next day. He is absolutely amazing. I would definitely rent from him again.

Social distancing at its best

We greatly enjoyed our first vacation to OBX. Corolla is a great little town, where everything is very close and convenient. The house had ample room and was in good condition, but could use some updating. The pool was extremely nice and receives afternoon shade. There are plenty of tables and chairs around the pool area. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The beach is a two block walk away, and provided a lot of entertainment for our family. We would definitely return here and felt very safe and isolated on this trip.

Perfect for our family

We have 5 kids - 10 - 22 and we were able to travel to the OBX for the first time the week prior to Memorial Day. The house was a great fit for us - space to gather and space for everyone to have their own space as well. Bring your own towels but bed linens are provided. Plenty of dishes and glassware at the house as well as utensils. Bring some basics to get you started - trash bags, toilet paper, paper towel, favorite cooking spices. Food Lion is just a minute away; Harris Teeter is a quick 5-7 minute drive. I preferred Harris Teeter but both are fine. Pool and back decks/crow’s nest were a huge hit and the ocean/beach access is just about a 5 minute walk. Plenty to see and do in Corolla - Wild Horse Tours, mini-golf, Currituck lighthouse in historic Corolla park... Jesus could not have been a better, more gracious and responsive host. Quick to answer any questions. We appreciate him sharing his home with us for our OBX week!

Very Disappointed

I never really write reviews, but this time I feel compelled to warn others. If you're looking for a little luxury for your vacation, this is not your place. Pulling onto the property and seeing weeds growing in the cracks of the driveway and landscaping that had surely seen better days threw up an immediate red flag. Inside, the place seemed dated but marginally acceptable (there's a reason there are only a few pictures on the listing). But upon closer look proved otherwise. Bath mats were stained and not washable, mold on the shower curtain, spider webs on the light fixtures, living room furniture that was not the same as the pictures on the listing and was stained. The kitchen seemed clean and was ok equipped, although we did find the Keurig coffee maker in the closet with water still in the reservoir - obviously not cleaned. Screen doors off their tracks and hard to open, with one in the master bedroom that had a large hole ripped in it. Dinning room and gaming room with shades missing on some of the windows. Tattered curtains. Get the picture? Just a general level of uncleanliness and disrepair that's unacceptable compared to what we were led to believe. Also, in the listing there is a picture of a nice felt poker table that was nowhere to be found. Being avid poker players, that constitutes fraud on the owners part. The kicker was when we pulled back the covers on the beds at 11:30 at night and found there were no sheets on ANY of the beds! We had to sleep on the filthy mattress pads. When I contacted the owner the next morning and mentioned everything above, he stated there were sheets in a bag in the hallway, which was never part of the check- in instructions. He also offered to send over a cleaning crew, but given the fact that he stated he personally supervised the cleaning before our arrival, it seemed like a waste of time. And even though I did not feel the house was safe and sanitary in any way given these times of Covid-19, I did not feel comfortable having strangers come into the house at that point. The other issues I mentioned he never addressed. Overall, I just felt like I rented a place from someone who doesn't care about making it nice for renters, and is only looking to make money off of them. He did state that members of his family stay there a lot, so beware the fake reviews. We did enjoy the pool.

Great property short distance from beach

This property was perfect for the 8 of us! It was a short walk to the beach and central to shopping and dining. The house was clean and obviously well taken care of. Jesus was a great host and reached out to make sure we had everything we needed.

The house was perfect size and layout for our family and friends vacation. Plenty of room to spread out and very functional. House is in great condition. The location is amazing. Short walk to beach or Timbuck 2 shopping. Jesus (owner) was awesome to work with with. I highly recommend you check this place out- we will be booking again!

The house and location are perfect! The host's communication was wonderful. The pool was beautiful and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook meals. You do need to provide towels and paper goods (toilet paper, napkins, etc.) but that might be the norm in OBX rentals. We would definitely come back

Perfect location

This was our second time staying in this home and it didn’t disappoint. The location is perfect, close to the beach and shopping. The owner is great to work with and was quick to resolve a minor issue that we had. Our favorite part of the house is the amazing view from the top deck. You can see both the ocean and the sound. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would book again
