Pristine Mountain Escape - loitonÀkymÀt, yksityisyys ja rauhallisuus

Vuosisatoja vanha remontoitu talo maalaistalosta vuoristossa, ihmisille, jotka rakastavat luontoa, vuohenkellojen sointuvaa musiikkia ja toisiaan! Upeat nÀkymÀt viiteen Kykladien saaristoon ja ympÀröiville karuille kukkuloille sopivat tÀydellisesti niille, jotka etsivÀt rauhaa ja mahdollisuutta vaeltaa, maalata, kirjoittaa tai ajatella.

Olemme huolehtineet pÀivitettÀessÀ kahta erillistÀ perinteistÀ rakennetta, joita ympÀröivÀt yrttipuutarha ja viikuna, granaattiomena, manteli ja oliivipuut. Ylempi mökki nukkuu kolme (erillisissÀ vuoteissa) ja on viehÀttÀvÀ keittiö. Aiemmin kolme sukupolvea maatilan perheet asuivat siellÀ, jossa oli 7 lasta, nyt kaikki yksityiskohdat ovat moitteettomasti ja taiteellisesti suunniteltu. Alempi rakennus oli "Goat House", ja nyt muunnetaan nukkumaan vielÀ neljÀ (2 queen-size-vuode makuuhuoneessa ja 2 kaksoset / punkut lapsille huoneeseen). TÀmÀ vuoristorata yhdistÀÀ historiallisen taiteellisen suunnittelun, kuohuviinien puhtauden ja kaikki mukavuudet.

TÀmÀ on pohjimmainen "vanha Kreikka", hieman syrjÀssÀ, mutta viidenkymmenen minuutin sisÀllÀ neljÀstÀ kylÀstÀ, tusina rantoja ja useita herkullisia tavernoja.

TrĂšs bon sĂ©jour chez Alexis, avec qui les Ă©changes prĂ©alables par mail avaient Ă©tĂ© faciles et prĂ©cis . Nous avons Ă©tĂ© parfaitement accueillis par Georgios Ă  notre arrivĂ©e, joignable Ă©galement pendant la semaine de maniĂšre trĂšs rĂ©active et gentille. Un service de mĂ©nage trĂšs agrĂ©able Ă  mi-sĂ©jour. La maison est agrĂ©able dans un environnement typique : isolĂ©e, avec une vue magnifique sur la mer EgĂ©e, au son du troupeau de chĂšvres, au milieu des collines. Avis aux amateurs ! Le charmant village d’Aliki (sa plage et ses tavernes !) est Ă  un 10-15 mn en voiture. Et tout sur Paros est accessible rapidement : les superbes criques et plages, les villes de Naoussa et Parikia, etc... Mais attention, pour aller et venir depuis la maison, le 4x4 nous paraĂźt indispensable. Nous avions une voiture classique (voyageant en famille) et c’était vraiment limite (et avons crevĂ© un pneu...). Merci Alexis de nous avoir permis de dĂ©couvrir Paros !

Des maisons ravissantes nichées dans la montage, vue à couper le souffle

Nous avons passé 10 jours fantastiques dans ce petit domaine perdu dans les montagnes. Une vue fantastique, des recoins, des terrasses un peu partout et deux petites maisons jointes au charme fou. Maison fraiche malgré la chaleur. Réveil au son des clochettes des chÚvres le matin. Déco soignée et pleine de charme. Les plages sont accessibles en 10 minutes de voiture. Seul bémol : le chemin d'arrivée est en état "sauvage" et nous avons abimé la voiture de location avec un caillou saillant en dessous. Prévoir un 4x4 Accueil chaleureux et sympathique de Giorgios, qui nous a aussi donné des infos précieuses sur la région et avait rempli le frigo pour nous. Nous reviendrons !

A perfect dream house located in paradise

First, let me say that my wife and I have traveled to many places around the world. For me, staying at this house in Paros is for sure on top of my list. It was PERFECT! The house is so comfortable. You just immediately feel at home here. The views were amazing. The house was so spacious. The location was superb. You are only one exit away from a wonderful beach village of Aliki. The hostess was so accommodating. She made sure that we got our rental car, gave us maps and great advice on places to go and see. Even a map and orientation of all the wonderful beaches to visit. Staying at this house was perfect. I never wanted to leave and even am considering moving to Paros sometime in the future.

Beautiful house in fantastic surroundings!

Our family stayed almost three weeks in this beautiful home, and we loved it! Our two teenagers enjoyed having the charming old goat house all by themselves, while my husband and I slept comfortable in the main house. We had simple, lovely family meals at the veranda. Early breakfasts with breathtaking views of hills and sea, and relaxing dinners under the stars. The surroundings of the house were fantastic! A well kept dirt road led across mountains, and in three weeks, we met only ONE car while drivning to and from house! Except from a farm on the next hill, our only neighbours were goats grazing on the hills all around us. Olive trees, almond trees, grapes,and wild herbs were growing everywhere. It was beautiful, quiet and very peaceful. Our extremely nice and professional concierge Georgios, helped us settle in, and gave us all the information about Paros we could ask for! He helped us finding all the best beaches and restaurants around the island, and made us feel very welcome. We had a great holiday in a lovely home! /Anna and family, from Sweden

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

This is a lovely property with a beautiful outdoor space where you can eat and relax under the stars. There are nice spaces for that afternoon siesta as well. Inside, there is a quaint but well provisioned kitchen and livingroom in the main house. The bedrooms in the other building are very nice as well. One is perfect for kids and the master suite is quaint and comfortable. The place was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed visiting a variety of beaches, touring some of the outlying towns, going over to Little Paros for pizza (and wandering about) and eating at the many fine restaurants in town. Very enjoyable!

Idyllic perch overlooking the Mediterranean

This home has everything you could possibly want for a Greek island getaway: the property is nestled on a spot overlooking a stunning expanse of hills and sea. The two lovely adjacent buildings, decorated with sweet touches, look like they belong on a postcard, have comfy beds, a great well-equipped kitchen, and a wonderful porch that is perfect for enjoying the view (cannot say enough about the view!). And this is all just a short drive from local stores, nearby towns with great restaurants (amazing food - come prepared to eat!), and scores of beautiful beaches ranging from public, right in town, to hidden spots. A perfect day went something like this: lazy breakfast of local bread and fresh eggs on the porch, quick drive to a beach, lunch at a lovely restaurant, back home to rest (as one should!), then back out to explore a beautiful old town with winding streets and crafts, another amazing meal for dinner as the sun sets, then back to the house for a quiet night where the only sound is wind in the trees. The manager was easy to access and everything was spotless.

Relaxing, Quaint Cottage with Mountain Views

My favorite part of this rental is the wonderful patio complete with a slate table for dining out in the beautiful garden. There are also lovely spots to take that afternoon siesta, while listening to the tinkling bells of the goats on the next property over. The two cottages provide ample space for sleeping and relaxing inside as well. It is not far from stores, restaurants, and other attractions yet far enough away not be right in the middle of a lot of people. Just what we needed for rest and relaxation.

Amazing, magical place!

The house and garden are just wonderful. I loved eating breakfast in the garden, gazing at the sea to the music of tinkling goat bells. There are multiple outside spots to hang out - perfect reading, resting, or eating. There is a beautiful view of the sea and several other islands in the distance. There are also dirt tracks and roads for walking from the house, which I enjoyed. Can't recommend it enough!

Outdoor natural elegance

This beautiful place has become a part of my life. I am fond of even the journey up the mountainside dirt road, because of the views and the jackrabbits. The house is welcoming and has everything necessary to come and stay awhile as a base for exploring beaches and the small towns of Paros. The outdoor patios and porches are perfect for dining, reading, and napping. My time at the property was spent making meals, hiking around the mountaintop past the monastery, climbing nearby hills, or just chilling out listening to the bells of goats. I will definitely go back.

Amazing vacation!

The place is beautiful: lovely views of the sea, tinkling of goat bells, and nice spots to read and relax outside. It is very private, quiet and peaceful. There are trails and dirt roads for walking if you want to get some exercise & everything you need is a short drive away. Can't recommend it enough.

Lovely place in gorgeous surroundings

We were blown away by our stay at Paros. The house is beautifully designed and the furnishings fit the scene perfectly. It is somehow luxurious and down to earth all at once. But the views are what really what makes this place special. You can see across the island and the sea, producing some of the most spectacular I've even seen. The only person we ever saw from the house was a goat herder. The owners were incredibly hospitable and always accessible, even for questions like the best places to eat and swim. The island itself is still mostly undiscovered by everyday tourists. Paros really is a paradise. Highly recommended!
