Äskettäin uusitussa lomakodissamme on jo upeat näkymät merelle ja golfkentälle, mutta nyt siellä on upouusia moderneja kylpyhuoneita, joissa on Hans Grohen sadesuihkut ja kalusteet, sekä itsenäisesti seisova kylpyamme kylpyhuoneessa, huippuluokan keittiö, jossa on Caesarstone-laskurit ja keittiöapuvälineet , kaikki uudet ikkunat ja ovet, 8 jalkaa korkeat liukusäätimet takaosaan Lanai, katettu ulkona Lanai ruokailutila, seinästä seinään parketit, uusi terassi terassi, kaikki uudet kalusteet ja suljettu autotalli. Jokainen huone, mukaan lukien lanai, on varustettu Big Ass -faneilla, joita pidetään markkinoiden tehokkaimpana ja hiljaisimpana faneina.

Great stay!

We had a great time staying at Melia Kai! The views are gorgeous and most evenings we walked across the golf course to watch the sunset over the ocean. Great walking to Queen's Bath! The house is really lovely and is in a very safe and convenient location. Meg was very accommodating and easy to work with! We would love to come again!

The communication was great, the views are spectacular, we had everything we needed, even received recommendations of what to do on our rainy days. INCREDIBLE

We rent from VRBO frequently and sometimes the photos don't always align . . . but this Princeville home exceeded our expectations! The location is stunning with views of the golf course, mountains and ocean in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The home was a PERFECT size for the six of us (4 adults, 2 children). Meg has EVERYTHING you could possibly need in the kitchen, laundry, etc. The home is spotless and obviously well cared for. The hot tub was clean and a lovely respite after a lot of family activity! We HIGHLY recommend this home!!

Fantastic property for a relaxing stay on the Garden Isle!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Melia Kai. The property was spotless and had plenty of towels, dishware, etc. We enjoyed daily use of the deck out back, hot tub, and barbeque. The view of the ocean was wonderful, and many birds and sweet-smelling gardenia. The owner and on-island manager were very responsive to our questions, and easily accessible. We have stayed at many properties via vrbo and others and this is definitely one of the best.

Best spot in Princeville!

Meg’s place was clean, comfortable, stylish and large enough to accommodate 4 adults and 2 small kids. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, coffee maker etc. The pictures really don’t do it justice. The house itself is beautiful but the location on the golf course close to sweeping ocean views really made our trip unique. We had our 4 and 6 year old boys with us and thought the space was very kid friendly. We would love to stay here again on our next trip to Kauai!

Stunning and well considered

Meg and Zack have a wonderful home on the golf course in Princeville. The look on my son's face when he saw the view of the golf course and ocean was priceless. We loved the layout of the home, the beach gear in the garage, the quiet neighborhood, and the view of the mountains, golf course and ocean are amazing. The location near Hideaways the beach and the neighborhood restaurant of the same name is super convenient. The communication with Zack and Meg was quick and easy. We hope to come back and stay next year.

Beautiful home, great location. We can't wait to come back!

We LOVED staying at Meg's home during our recent trip to Kauai. It's spacious, beautifully designed, and was very comfortable & relaxing for our family of four. We especially loved the luxurious master bathroom and the hot tub with a view! It was also fun to watch the baby albatross outside the window. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Poipu for the second half of our trip and MUCH preferred our time in Melia Kai. It was so nice to have a kitchen, laundry, extra space, and privacy. Check in was also very easy (just a keypad) and Meg was quick to respond to my requests. This home is a great value and so gorgeous. We would book it again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful location

My Father-in-law kept saying this is the life and he could get used to this. The house is beautiful and very updated. Everyone wanted to try out the shower and tub in the master bathroom. We showed up when a big storm came over all the islands but we were very safe in this location. Cell phone service is hit or miss in Princeville but there is WiFi and you can turn on Wifi - calling to get your text messages to go through. Make sure to take the short drive over to Hanalei Bay and see the pier.

Our family lives in Los Angeles. We are originally from South Africa (Dad) and Chinese from the Philippines (Mom). Our 3 kids were raised in Los Angeles and enjoy the benefits of their multi-cultural background. While the kids were growing up, we frequently came to Hawaii for vacations always dreaming of owning a home in Kauai one day.

We have always wanted to own a home on the Garden Island of Kauai. Why? Location, Location, Location. Stunning ocean views and a beautiful golf course just outside your windows. You can see Bali Hai. where South Pacific was filmed. Drive around and you might imagine yourself in the middle of the Hunger Games or in Jurassic World. Kauai is not as touristy as Honolulu or Maui which we prefer.

The house is only one floor and very easy to maintain. You have your privacy unlike hotels or condos. It's a great family home. Spacious enough for a family of 6 or 6 great buddies to hang out but small enough that you don't spend your vacation cleaning up.

Plus we only accept reservations and payments through VRBO/Homeaway so this protects you from scammers or reservation errors (ie double bookings).

You get the benefit of a private home in a quiet neighborhood. Please note that Princeville is a community neighborhood and many of our neighbors live here full-time. We have a list of HOA imposed rules that we will send you with regards to respecting the neighborhood and the quietness of it along with some rules regarding our house and taking care of the house so we and others can enjoy it for many many more years. The advantage of renting our home is you get to pick - quiet solitude in paradise or loud, boisterous fun during the day and early evening hours before 10 pm (Princeville's quiet time). In addition, secluded Hideaways Beach is a short walk away behind Pali Ke Kua condos or take a walk in the opposite direction about 16 homes away and explore Queen Emma's Bath. Princeville Shopping Center is a 2 minute drive away and has everything you need (Foodland, pilates, touristy shops, restaurants, wine shops, bars, real estate offices you name it). Apparently beer is the same price at Foodland here as it is in Lihue or Kapaa so no need to shop and shlep. Hanalei Beach is only a short 5 minute drive away and that is pure heaven. Anini Beach with its beautiful sand and calm waters is only 10 minutes drive away door to beach. There is great snorkeling a little further down from Hanalei Beach at Tunnels Beach. Kayaking and SUP are available only 5 minutes away in Hanalei on the Hanalei River. And if you don't want to do much, sit out on our lanai and just watch the golfers and the birds - truly relaxing. Walk out to the bluff through the golf course (at your own risk because security may ask you to leave) with your glass of wine after 6:00 pm (very short walk) and see the waves crash on the lava rock while the sun sets. You can also rent golf carts at a very from the Makai Golf Course clubhouse and ride along the golf course path riding past our house to see the awesome sunset view (be sure to call and reserve your cart ahead of time just in case)
