Tervetuloa Villa Sunsetiin! Nauti tästä hiljattain rakennetusta ylellisestä Karibian tyylin huvilasta, joka sijaitsee Antiguan länsirannikolla arvostetussa Sugar Ridgessä. Villa Sunset sijaitsee yksityisen rehevän rinteessä, joka reunustaa luonnollisella sokeriruo'olla ja josta on näkymät palmujen reunustamille valkoisille hiekkarannoille, Karibianmeren turkoosi vesille ja Viiden saaren lahden niemen pälle. Korkealla sijainnillaan viileät kaupalliset tuulet virtaavat Villan läpi nauttien henkeäsalpaavista panoraamanäkymistä, jotka ulottuvat Jollyn sataman poikki ja saarille muille: Montserrat, Nevis, St. Kitts ja Redonda istuvat horisontissa kuin jalokiviä hohtavassa meressä. Itään sijaitsevat Antiguan silmiinpistävien rannikkoylämaiden koskemattomat metsäiset mäet ja laaksot.

Nauti kuppi kahvia kuohuviiniä äärettömästä uima-altaasta ja nauti upeista näkymistä saarelle, joka herää ja herää eloon jokaisen kirkkaan uuden päivän myötä. Sisätilojen sisätiloista vie ulos verannat, jotka tarjoavat mukavat varjostetut istuimet upeaan näkymään tai jonkin Karibian säteen saamiseen missä tahansa neljästä aurinkotuoleja, jotka reunustavat uima-allas. AMAZING view and villa!

We enjoyed the villa so much we didn’t want to leave to go to the beach! We loved the infinity pool, bbq, and indoor/outdoor concept of this beautiful, well appointed villa nestled into the mountainside. We couldn’t get enough of the view and will be returning!

Amazing Villa

Sunset Villa was amazing, the views, the amenities, and most importantly the location. Shopping and restaurants within a mile not to mention some of the most beautiful beaches within a five minute drive. As mentioned in other reviews, it is way more beautiful in person, The pictures do not reflect the beautiful views you will experience in person.

Still the best!

This was our second time staying at the Garvey's place and it was even better than last time! We could have never left the place and stared at the view all day, every day, it's just that beautiful. Antigua is now our favorite place to visit and it's largely because of this place. It's in the perfect location that gives you a great store right near by, the best beaches to visit on the island are near here, as well as the best restaurants. We hope to return as soon as possible!

Have you ever awoken to a double rainbow right outside your window? We did!

This property is spectacular in every way. The pictures of the house and the views are spot on but pale as to the true beauty of the home and surrounding area. The house is luxurious and provides an inviting and comfortable setting for a perfect vacation. The house is well located.. minutes from Jolly Harbour and surrounding (incredible) beaches, resturants. All interaction with owners and property staff was prompt, thorough and courteous.

Perfect Family Vacation Get-Away

Jolly Harbor is a great place to stay in Antigua, and Villa Sunset is an ideal vacation home. The views were beautiful, and the Villa is well-designed with three private rooms, perfect for a family with adult-age children. The outdoor patios were great for relaxing, and the infinity pool was a crowd favorite. The host and the management staff were very friendly and responsive. The only suggestion we have for visitors is that you may want to forego the rental car and hire taxis during your stay. They are quite reasonable, and it's a lot more fun to let the locals navigate the roads while you enjoy the scenery!

Absolutely beautiful property

Just wanted to provide feedback that we had an absolutely lovely time at Villa Sunset. The property was exactly as described...beautiful home with all of the accoutrements anyone could ask for. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bedrooms were all lovely and wonderfully air conditioned. The pool was divine... What is however impossible to put into words is the view. Breathtaking is the only way to describe. All of this in combination with the lovely property owner Marc... made our stay perfect. Thanks again !

Pretty much the best!

We stay at a lot of VRBO's and this was the best. The pictures which are so great here don't even do it justice. Biggest problem - you'll never want to leave the house! Everything is extremely well and tastefully appointed. The staff at Villa Management including Pascale and Bancroft were exceptional from our first interaction to our last. Hope so much to be able to come back soon!

A week in paradise

Villa sunset is just as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The house is set up with every necessary amenity and the view from the pool area is genuinely rather spectacular at all times of day. We loved the fact that all bedrooms and en suites are just as spacious as each other so no guest feels like they’re loosing out. Marc was an amazing contact to have, he helped with everything we asked / raised professionally and quickly. Thank you for everything!

From the moment we booked Villa Sunset in Jolly Harbour, we knew we were in for a special experience, and our expectations were not only met but exceeded. The villa boasts a location that is nothing short of breathtaking, with a view, true to the villa's name, were a nightly spectacle. Marc was incredibly communicative, making the booking and stay seamless and worry-free. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a villa that was not only beautifully furnished but also thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need for our stay. The attention to detail in every room made it feel like a home away from home, but with the added luxury that you'd want from a holiday in paradise. The cleanliness of the villa was impeccable, thanks to the thorough and lovely cleaning staff, Avril & Daphine. It was clear they took great pride in their work, adding to the comfort and pleasure of our stay. Moreover, the management team was always on hand to answer any questions or help with enquiries, making us feel supported throughout our visit. Staying at Villa Sunset was an unforgettable experience. The combination of the stunning location, the beautifully furnished villa, and the outstanding team made our holiday truly remarkable. This villa is a must-book for anyone looking to experience the best of Jolly Harbour and Antigua. We are already planning our return to this little piece of paradise

A Piece of Caribbean Heaven

I came with a group of friends expecting a great place ... but boy were we surprised to see it was more than great it was AMAZING!!! The pictures do it no justice. Infinity pool was magical! Waking up to sunrise and the sound of the wind chimes was super relaxing . Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Each room with its own magical view. We enjoyed ourselves by having breakfast outdoors and our evening coffee watching the sunset . Our host Mitty was above and beyond with guiding us on our transportation and ensuring our comfort during our stay. At night you hear the sounds of the mountain behind you and it was very soothing . Supermarket was close by with everything you can imagine ! The beach down the hill was breathtaking ! Both our check in and check out was a breeze. In the end although it was just for a long weekend the memories my friends and I made were priceless . Although we took plenty of photos , the beauty experienced there is forever engraved in my heart . Thank you again for allowing us the privilege of staying at your magnificent Villa . Villa Sunset truly is the best !

Great house but lots of construction nearby

This is great house. Everything you need is there. It’s very comfortable in every way. The view is outstanding. Marc, the owner, is a good communicator and responsive. There is one big issue that is important to consider. This house is part of a development called Sugar Ridge. The development is in its early stages, which means there is a lot of construction going on. There are two houses being built directly in front of the house and the lot next door was just cleared and is probably getting ready to be developed. We were there in the week leading up to Christmas so most of the construction stopped but there was some banging coming from one of the houses. To compound this problem, the house sits on a hill overlooking Jolly Harbor and there is serious construction going on there. While it seems far away, the noise (drilling, jack hammering, movement of cranes and heavy equipment) travels up the hill. This was a constant for most of the week. I know it’s impossible for the owner to know what construction is happening and when and it’s out of his control but it needs to be disclosed because the noise can be very loud and make enjoying this house almost impossible. For this reason alone, I can not recommend staying there. Because the development is in the early stages, the noise will be an issue for many years. If you are not someone who is bothered by this, it is otherwise a terrific house.

Wonderful stay at this stunning property

We'll begin with the host Marc and villa management who were, without a shadow of a doubt, the best hosts we've ever dealt with. Nothing was too much trouble and Marc was very understanding when I had to move the dates a couple of times due to planning issues. The communication was really clear and very quick responses every time and they were very helpful in arranging covid tests for our friends in the villa for their flight home. Honestly they couldn't have been better so thank you to Marc and the team at villa management. Now the property - AMAZING! It's been said a few times on other reviews however the views really are even more incredible when you're there. Watching the sunset ever night was bliss and it's views that will stay with us forever. The pool is really nice, bigger than the pictures make it look and great have a dip after a long day in the sun or a day round the pool. Even with the beaches in Antigua being so beautiful, the villa still makes you want to miss a beach day so you can have a villa day. The bedrooms are spacious with again stunning views and each has a beautiful bathroom with great showers etc. The lounge area is great for chilling in the evening and the kitchen is fantastic and has all high end appliances and everything you could need to cook every meal there if you wanted. We did however use the BBQ more as it was a high end brand and great BBQ and nice to be able to cook while taking in the view. If you're looking for a perfect villa in paradise, book villa sunset right now, you will not be disappointed. Many thanks all, Nick, Charlotte, Liz and Scott.

Absolutely Wonderful Place to Stay

We just returned from one of the best vacations we have ever had in our lives. This house and location is absolutely beyond a doubt the best choice you could make when staying in Antigua. The home is as advertised on the VRBO site meaning there were absolutely no surprises when we arrived (if anything, it exceeded our expectations). The privacy provided by the bedroom arrangement is wonderful for couples and also for families with children that don't need to be right next door to mom and dad. More importantly, the outdoor accommodations are fantastic. The patio area is spectacular due to its view of the Caribbean and is a great place from sun up to sun down (and you'll enjoy the visits from the local birds in the morning). When it gets too hot, merely stand up and walk directly into the stunning infinity pool and marvel at the astounding view. When you're cooled off, jump out of the pool and grab some sun on the lounge chairs. Obviously, you're not here to be at home, so jump in the car and drive to one of the many beautiful beaches. We particularly enjoyed Ffryes beach but made it to many of the other equally spectacular beaches nearby. If you're looking for a well prepared meal, any of the restaurants in the Jolly Beach area will satiate your appetite. Need groceries because you want to eat at home, drop by the Epicurean market. It is very well stocked and has a large variety of goods that rival any grocery store in the states. We had some VERY MINOR problems with the accommodations, however, both the owner, Marc Garvey and his local representative, Tshala Wilson responded to the situation within minutes of my call and monitored the situation until the problem was eliminated. I have nothing but high praise for the attention paid to our needs. We had zero worries while we were there. To summarize, you should rent this home. You will be very happy you did.

Gorgeous house! Gorgeous views! Incredibly responsive host! What more could you ask for?

First of all, the photos on the listing for Villa Sunset are accurate. The house & views are as beautiful as in the listing.Marc & his property mgmt company are incredibly responsive. I sent Marc several emails before our stay & usually had a response within an hour. We made a few requests of the property mgmt - all were satisfied within a few hours. I will say that, if at least one of your party doesn't have a SIM that allows phone calls in Antigua, be sure to download WhatsApp to your phone to communicate with the property manager.Six of us rented the house, so we used all bedrooms. The beds were all very comfortable & there was plenty of space to stash away our belongings: full dressers and closets with enough hangers for 2 people for a week.All the furnishings & decor are luxurious. The house is 1000% the best equipped rental any of us had ever been in. Blender, coffee maker & GRINDER, washer / dryer (no soap), snorkel gear, beach chairs, GOLF CLUBS, nice grill, 110 outlets - so no adapters, portable playpen if you need it. They've thought of everything. Whole house cleaning twice during our 8 day stay. Close to grocery & restaurants. (Our favorites were OJ's and Fox House.)Consider accepting tire insurance on your rental. Roads are terrible.I'd have written a much more flowery review but VRBO limits to 1,500 chars. All I can say is you will love your time here. You'll feel very pampered!

The rental was beautiful and view was gorgeous! Beds were very comfortable. We had coffee and breakfast on the deck every morning before heading to the beach and came back to watch the sunset and then dinner outside. The only downfall was the construction next door - hopefully it doesn’t last too long

It Started Out Great, And Got Better!

From the moment the 4 of us were picked up at the airport and transported to the property, we knew this would be special. We were cheerily greeted by Jovanna from the Property Management Office who showed us the features of the home and answered our questions. The first thing that struck us was the incredible view. As I told my companions, some may get tired of the view of St. Kitts and Nevis to the west, with Kitts serving as part of our sundown photo shooting, but not I. Kitts and Nevis were visible most of the time and served as a wonderful backdrop to the occasional cruise ship and many catamarans in the area. The next thing is the unique property layout. Over the last 30 years or so we have stayed at many VRBO locations I can't recall any having the distinct separation between the common areas (kitchen and living) and sleeping facilities, 3 rooms with en suite bathrooms. This arrangement plus the ample outdoor space gave everyone the luxury of privacy while enjoying the full experience of the property. The infinity pool was a bonus!. We used it almost everyday for a refreshing dip after exploring the island or just to look out over the edge downward to the harbour. If you want an incredible vacation at an incredible location, look no further!

Sunset Paradise

My wife and I along with another couple we frequently travel with just came back from an 8 day stay at the Villa Sunset. This home has spectacular views of Jolly Harbour and of course the sunset. The home is very clean, modern, and well equipped for just about everything you could need. From the day we booked till the day we left the Villa Sunset the communication between Villa Management, Marc and myself was very responsive, professional and refreshing. We have traveled frequently and this is one of the best places we have stayed feeling safe and welcome. We already miss sitting out on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the sunset and being serenaded by the tree frogs. Thank you Marc for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will be back!!! Luxury vacation in Paradise!!

Absolutely amazing stay at the Garvey Family’s Sunset Villa! Super simple check in/check out process, great recommendations on things to do/local eats, and provided a great rental car service! Each room is essentially its own HUGE private master suite with 5 star accommodations!! The views from the deck pool area are phenomenal from sun up to sun down! The kitchen is equipped with anything and everything to cool a 5 course meal especially since the epicurean grocery store is at the bottom of the hill! You will not be disappointed with choosing sunset villa for your stay in Antigua!!

Next level views

Villa Sunset is absolutely amazing. The impression you get when you enter the property up the steps is incredible. The infinity pool is perfectly situated to view the town, the sunsets, and natural hills. My family was so excited upon arrival, we spent the first two days soaking up the sun and the views while grilling out. This is not just a place to sleep. You could literally spend all your time at this Villa. The beaches and grocery store is a 3 minute drive away, so you get back to this amazing property quickly. Quality family time spent together was achieved every day because we all couldn’t get enough of being in the pool and patio.

We have been Caribbean lovers since we first took our children there in the early ‘80’s instead of Disneyland. Neither of our children or we have never made it to Disneyland, but we’ve visited just about every island in the beautiful Caribbean. We have been looking the last few years and had narrowed it down to Antigua and one other island. Antigua won hands down! It was the fabulous beaches, the overly friendly Antiguans, the spectacular views, the security of one of the lowest crime rates, the value of the restaurants and handmade purchases, the cleanliness of the island and homely feel of the little towns and villages, the golf courses and the endless activities available…you know where we’re going, we found paradise! A ton of research ensued and endless search for the dream villa ended in Sugar Ridge. Our second trip with in six months we had knew we found home at Villa Sunset and you will too. Certainly the best and most spectacular views of any villa we inspected!

One of the best points of it all is location, location, and location. Jolly Harbor has it all and it’s at the bottom of the hill. We have stayed in different areas of the island and by far Jolly Harbor takes the cake. Beaches, restaurants, endless water sports, grocery and liquor stores, banks, rental cars, cafes, and nightlife are only a minute away.

Sugar Ridge is a luxury boutique hotel which you may use, but most guests do not. You wouldn’t know its down the hill from Sunset, 5-minute walk or 2-minute drive away make for convenience and ease during your vacation.
