Full of Adventure:
Minutes from Linville, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, and Boone. Enjoy the nearby wineries - Linville Falls Winery (6 miles), Banner Elk Winery (10 miles) and Grandfather Vineyard and Winery (10 miles) Each offer tastings, spectacular views of their vineyards and scheduled live music.
Enter the Blue Ridge Parkway less than 7 miles away and take in wonderful views of the mountains and valleys. October is the leaf changing season.
You can hike to the top of Grandfather Mountain, cross the Mile High Swinging Bridge and take-in the wildlife at the habitat to see bears, cougars, elk, otters, and eagles up close.
Linville Falls is 10 miles away, with stunning waterfalls and short hikes. The Linville Gorge Wilderness Area (12 miles) offers various levels of hikes and great views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The Linville Caverns is only 10 miles away. The area offers kid-friendly entertainment such as gem mining locations, the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster and Adventure Course, horseback riding, white water rafting, off roading and much more. Check out Apple Hill Farm (17 miles) a mountaintop Alpaca farm but get tickets in advance, they fill up fast.
Sugar Mountain (10 miles) and Beech Mountain (15 miles) are great destinations for skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating in the winter months.
Inside our home you’ll find a spacious open-concept living and dining area with a beautiful brick fireplace and gas logs—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The master bedroom features a queen bed, TV, and private bath with an in-unit washer and dryer for your convenience. The bunk room offers a twin-over-full bed which routinely accommodates adults and children. The bonus room includes a queen cube bed with a plush 6-inch memory foam mattress, television, and seating area. The house is fully furnished, with all linens and kitchen necessities provided. There are several groceries stores close by, and many restaurants are just a short drive away in Newland, Banner Elk, and Boone. There is a washer/dryer, and we are equipped with cable and internet.
Step outside to a large deck and firepit area, where you can unwind under the stars and soak in the peace and quiet of Linville Land Harbor.
You’ll find fully stocked bathrooms with linens, a hair dryer, and essential supplies. There’s a single-car garage and additional parking in front and back, giving you plenty of space for vehicles and gear.

All roads to the home are paved (4-wheel drive is usually NOT needed).

- Linville Land Harbor has a strictly enforced noise policy. Please observe quiet hours from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- If you would like to fish, play pickleball or tennis, alert your host at least a week before check-in so the proper forms can be submitted to the recreation department. There will be extra fees to be paid by you at the POA office
NO PETS! While we love our animals some humans do have allergies so, please do not attempt to bypass this rule. Any neighbors reporting pets and you will have to leave. No smoking or vaping. No illegal substances.
Release of liability: we go to great lengths to ensure your stay is enjoyable and safe. Guests are responsible for conducting safety checks of recreational equipment such as kayaks and paddle boards before use, and use is at own risk. The home contains stairs to the garage please use caution. The home is in a mountain community and bear sightings, while rare, do occasionally occur. When guests book their stay, they and all group members agree to waive all liability in case of personal injury or accident. Owners are not liable for accidents or injuries.
