Located near the end of a quiet deep-water canal with direct Gulf access, this 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home is designed for families, boaters, fishermen, scallopers, and nature lovers seeking an elevated getaway.
Enjoy the year-round solar-heated pool (electric available when requested), lounge beneath the covered lanai, or set out from the private stationary and floating docks for fishing, scalloping, boating, and peaceful paddling. Autism-friendly accommodations are available upon request.
The Floaty Potato is not just a place to stay. It is a launchpad for adventure, a home base for wildlife encounters, and a place where families create memories they return for again and again.

Pool and Child Safety:
Child-safety locks on all doors leading to the pool
Adult supervision required around all water areas
Indoor floors, pool edges, and docks may become slippery when wet
Water Safety:
Never swim alone
Avoid alcohol near water
Life jackets are required for kayaking or paddleboarding and are provided in multiple sizes
Boat Lift Rules:
Not for general use
Guests must request access in advance
Guests must sign user agreement
Home Rules:
No smoking
No fireworks
Professional pest control is provided, though insects may still be seen due to the waterfront location
Use Couch Covers if you have young children or pets to keep the white furniture white!
Security Cameras:
Located at the front entry and facing the canal only. No cameras are inside the home or in any private areas.

PETS AND SERVICE ANIMALS
A Pet Agreement is required for guests bringing pets.
A Service Animal Agreement (ADA-compliant, no fees) is required for guests with service dogs.
Pet Policy — Dogs Allowed With Prior Approval
We welcome well-behaved dogs on a case-by-case basis. Please message us with your dog’s breed, age, and weight for approval before booking or adding a pet to your reservation.
Rules & Requirements
• Dogs only — no cats (owner allergies).
• Maximum of 2 approved dogs per stay.
• Combined dog weight must be 110 lbs or less.
• If over 110 lbs combined, you must bring or purchase an additional kennel.
• Dogs must be kenneled anytime they are left unattended inside the home.
• Provided kennels: 24”, 36”, and 48”.
• Provided for your convenience:
• Dog bowls
• Leash
• Kennel mat
• Paw-cleaning tools
• Mandatory couch covers (must be used if dogs are on furniture)
• Fenced backyard with waste bags and scoopers.
• Please clean up after your dog.

We chose Crystal River because we first visited on a family vacation to fulfill a bucket-list dream of swimming with the manatees. We combined the trip with a few days in Orlando, but—surprisingly—all of my kids (and my husband, which wasn’t a surprise!) loved Crystal River more! We were drawn to its laid-back, old Florida charm, where you can go to dinner in your HUK fishing gear, shorts, and a t-shirt and feel right at home.
Our family loves nature, animals, and being on the water—seeing manatees and dolphins, fishing, catching crabs off the dock, kayaking, paddleboarding, and so much more. After that trip, we knew that when the time was right, we wanted to find a home in Crystal River and share the same amazing experience with others. Hosting here allows us to do exactly that—help others fall in love with the friendly people, the natural beauty, and the relaxed lifestyle that make Crystal River so special.
Our family loves nature, animals, and being on the water—seeing manatees and dolphins, fishing, catching crabs off the dock, kayaking, paddleboarding, and so much more.
