Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was excellent. However, the tv didn’t work and some of the cupboards were broken. Also, the lock box was very difficult to access and should be checked as not sure key is currently secured.

Filthy unsafe and horrible communication

The property manager does not want you to communicate through the Vrbo app, they want you to download theirs and then it takes 48 to 60 hours for them to get back to you. The door was locked when we came in however, there was a person in the condo, he spoke little English, which is fine. He was waiting for his boss to come and fix a broken pipe. The employees were very nice however they mopped the wet floor up with the beach towels that we were supposed to use at the pool. They placed them on the balcony to dry and they left the balcony door wide open when they left. When trying to reach the property manager, it took her 48 hours to answer our concerns. The master bedroom sliding glass door use a broomstick to secure and lock it. The screen doors would sometimes open and sometimes not open and if you got them open, they came off the track. There was no safe to lock our passports up. The light switch for the kitchen light was cracked, and if you pushed it, it would give you a small shock. The furniture was greasy and dirty in the kitchen and the living room. The stains on the couch and the chairs were absolutely disgusting. The walls were dirty around every light switch and around every corner, where the steps were. The grout in the shower was dirty. I called and left an email and left a text to have it cleaned And it was 36 hours before someone got there. We questioned even if the sheets were clean on the bed as when we pulled them back there were hairs on them.

Grandma's Place

The location is fantastic right on the beach. We woke up to the most beautiful sunrises! The moon rises were incredible! The coffee situation was terrible as the little two cup coffee maker was missing a strainer or coffee filters. We ended up using a French Press we found in the cupboards that had all old mismatched pots, pans, utensils, glasses and silverware. We learned when we were there that this was the first condo comp[lex built on the beach some 20+ years ago. The style was grandma's old furniture and multicolored clay tiles.The AC was old and loud and either made it too cold or not at all cool! There are postings of the rules and what not to do and the consequences with that (if you have a car do not park on or over the lines). However, no info on where to go what to see or anything that could make your stay better! We were on the beach, but there was no beach chairs or umbrella to enjoy it. Once we were there for a day we figured how two make it work so because of its location, the grounds that it sits on, the people you can meet I gave it a 4/5. However, we never saw any host and the communication was spotty! This place needs to be taken over by the kids and put some fresh redecorating and updated AC, appliances , etc...

Reviewer Comments: While the location was as advertised and the arrival went well,there were some issues. Aside from the one in the lockbox,there was only one key and about 40% of the light bulbs were burnt out. Of the three TVs,two didn't work at all and the third had so much static it was unwatchable. One shower had no light and the other had no water although that was repaired halfway through our holiday. The patio door didn't lock,the advertised stereo did not exist. The wi-fi worked great once I figured out how to log in,the network name on the paperwork didn't match any of the networks available (it was missing a 6). The onsite security guard was very helpful but contacting management was impossible as the phone number didn't work and email was not answered. Sardina Cantina and Mama Mia's were good restaurants but were too far for my 81 year old brother to walk to (not your fault). With highs of 23 and a cold wind off the water we found it too cold in the shade and too hot in the sun (also not your fault). Overall the great location on the beach earns it a three star rating,some simple fixes could improve this.

The location and view were fabulous. There wasn’t an elevator so my 84 year old mother had a bit of a hard time and dragging the luggage wasn’t fun:/ there are steps inside the unit and two of us fell. One sprained ankle and some badly bruised knees. The place needs some TLC…old things that don’t work, very smelly toilet, broken chair, not enough paper products. To bad, we would like to stay there again but will be looking elsewhere:(

Great location. Needs updating

Great location and spectacular sunrise views. Linens (especially the towels) are worn out and stained. Bathroom sink seemed to be clogged. Bedroom Televisions could be in a museum. The kitchen was well stocked and the full water jug was nice. Friendly people and quiet complex. Really enjoyed our stay.

Right On The Beach

The location was beautiful but the unit was cheaply furnished and it’s on a stretch of beach that is not swimmable. The pool area is beautiful, quiet and well maintained with none of that awful electro pop music. There are no bad days in Los Cabos!

This property is beautiful and in a great location. We had a great time in Mexico. However this unit is in need of repair. We had trouble with the shower. No volume and not much hot water. After using both showers there was a sour smell from the drains. There was dust inside of closets and closet doors were in need of repair. Needs paint and repairs to walls.and updating. One screen door( on the El Zacatecas side) came off its track. This being said we would probably stay again.

It was very clean, though it is looking a little tired - it’s always a bit of a giveaway that owners are not paying much attention when they still have those immense old TVs lying around. And the fridge door opened the wrong way so we had to step out of the kitchen in order to get into the fridge... So, owners, please pay attention. In all, it was the big balcony overlooking beach that was the big sell.

The proximity to the beach, with palapas and lounge chairs and access to a heated pool were the perfect combination of activities for our young family. Our condo was great too. Lots of amenities in the house allowing us to cook for our picky kids. Grocery store options were good too. Only issue we had was that the propane tank on the BBQ wound not open up cause it was a little rusted. We want to come back soon!

Great location - near everything, but far enough away that it's quiet and mellow. Walking distance to 4 great surf breaks. The beach in front of the condo is wide and quiet, just like the photos show, but the waves make it such that it's not easy to swim right in front of the condo if there are waves of any size. Good swimming is a 5 minute walk down the beach. We highly recommend this condo to couples and families!
