TÀmÀ ammattimaisesti suunniteltu ja sisustettu lomakoti on loistava rauhallinen pakopaikka yhdelle tai kahdelle pariskunnalle tai hauskalle perhelomalle. Sijaitsee rauhallisella hiekkatietÀ, olet kaukana Oak Bluffsin keskustan melusta, mutta silti vain viiden minuutin kÀvelymatkan pÀÀssÀ kaikesta toiminnasta! Laituriranta on myös alle mailin pÀÀssÀ, joten pÀÀstÀ sinne autolla, pyörÀllÀ tai jalka on helppoa. Beautiful, well appointed and comfortable home!

This home was perfect for our family reunion over the Thanksgiving holiday. It is spacious, clean, and so well appointed that it made all of us feel "at home". We found everything we needed to prepare our holiday meals, build a cozy fire, and catch up on our lives. We were disappointed that the weather prevented us from utilizing the outdoor amenities as it holds three unique gathering areas. The location is private yet just a short walk to town. David and Brenda were in contact during our stay to ensure that all was well. We highly recommend this home for your Vineyard getaway!

Quiet Neighborhood in East Choo

Our family spent two wonderful weeks in this lovely, perfectly equipped home in East Chop in Oak Bluffs. Fall is the best time to enjoy this special island, after all the summer visitors have departed. Brenda and David’s home is delightful with large bedrooms with comfy beds, a great first floor layout, a super lower level that kids and grown-ups will love relaxing in and a spectacular back deck and stone patio with a motorized awning, lots of seating, barbecue grill, a great fire pit and even an amazing pizza oven.The kitchen is set up with everything you will need. And plenty of connectivity in case someone needs to work remotely while on the island like our son did.Thanks so much, Brenda and David, for sharing this special spot with us. We had a wonderful visit!

A first visit to MV, at a great home!

This home was well organized, well apportioned, and thoughtfully made for vacationing families. The outdoor space was a dream: the fire pit, pizza oven, and long outdoor table made dinners outside a dream, and plenty of fireside socializing afterward. There was space to work upstairs and down, so for those of us who didn't get the entire week off from work, we were able to get our stuff done quickly and get back to vacationing. Kitchen had everything, and the living room and dining room were spacious enough for our party of six with room left over. We would definitely stay here again!

East Chop Oasis - Where Cooking Meets Relaxation

Oh, Martha's Vineyard, you had me at "Hello Summer!" But you had me wrapped around your little island finger when we found this vacation rental gem in East Chop, Oak Bluffs. Let's start with the kitchen, shall we? I mean, seriously, I haven't seen a kitchen this inviting since my grandma's house, and she could whip up a mean batch of cookies! From the moment we stepped in, I knew we were in for a culinary adventure. Now, I'm not saying we spent the entire vacation in the kitchen, but let's just say that if the Food Network ever decides to film an episode here, I'm ready for my close-up! I made pancakes that would make a professional chef weep with envy. And when it comes to lobster rolls, I may have achieved a level of perfection that rivals the island's sunsets. But the magic didn't stop at the stove. Oh no! This cottage came with an outdoor space that practically begged for a sitcom montage. There were these charming Adirondack chairs where I spent my mornings sipping coffee and plotting my day's adventures. And when the sun dipped below the horizon, I found myself by the fire pit, toasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the starry sky. The outdoor dining area was equally impressive-grilling seafood was a delight. All in all, this vacation rental cottage was an absolute delight. If you know how to read a map and don’t mind a dirt road— you will find a getaway that combines gourmet cooking and outdoor relaxation. Clean, updated, with great communication.

Endless Summer

This property is exactly as depicted in the images! We used the fire pit almost every night- it had an incredibly clean burning pit called a Solo stove- clean burning meaning once it gets going- very little smoke! We are actually first time renters but long time Island visitors so we were very nervous about using VRBO but we were immediately put at ease. Great cool AC, wonderfully decorated home and we felt welcomed by the host and treated very well. We are already saving our pennies to go back again next year. A great family house managed by a great family!! Did we mention the outdoor shower? It's awesome!! Thanks again to our hosts we we can't say enough about this perfect home.

Space for everyone!

We had five adults and one child, but this house would be great for families with more children -- we didn't use the bunk room at all. My daughter enjoyed spending time in the basement, and the adults had plenty of space to spread out on the main floor. All the bedrooms were large. The outdoor space was beautiful. We were there in October, and nights were peaceful and quiet. We'd definitely stay here again. Super convenient to both Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs -- driving had us downtown in 5ish minutes. We had a lovely stay. If I was being picky: the pillows were super soft, which isn't my favorite. The Avenue is unpaved and upgraded and would be tough to navigate if your car doesn't have a fair amount of clearance (obviously not within the owner's control, but I was glad we carpooled because I couldn't have made it in my Corolla).

Wonderful time

Our experience was amazing. The house was so clean and very, very well stocked. It was a short walk into Oak Bluffs and the other houses around were very quiet. I would highly recommend this rental!!!

The BEST House!!

We had the best time at this house!! Was the perfect size for our entire family of 6 and a friend too!! I think our favorite part was the fireplace in the living room!! There was the perfect amount of space for the kids to play and the adults to relax!! It was also so close to our favorite town-Oak Bluffs!! We can’t wait to come back next year!!

The house is lovely and comfortable. The location is excellent, very close to downtown Oak Bluffs. The hosts were easy to contact and very helpful. The place was clean and well cared for with a beautiful outdoor living space. It’s perfect for families or larger groups. Highly recommended rental!

Lovely large hime

Three couples escaped Seattle smoke fir the month of October. We enjoyed the large rooms and king sized beds and fast internet so we could all keep working. Also enjoyed the location in the historically Black section of MV. We took the walking tour of the neighborhood.

Perfect home for a large group!

We absolutely loved our stay at Brenda & Dave’s home in East Chop! When our wedding was postponed due to COVID we still wanted to find a nice home on the island to celebrate the week with our family and friends. This house was perfect - enough rooms and beds to fit everyone comfortably and everything you could possibly need in the house! The backyard was our favorite part - we made pizza multiple nights in the pizza oven and the fire pit was just what we needed for the colder September nights. Highly recommend and look forward to staying again in the future!

Perfect Week

This home is just a beautiful property and exactly as advertised. Everything one needs is provided and a perfect COVID vacation as we stayed in and cooked almost every night. Lovely backyard setting and so close to walk into Oak Bluffs for early morning coffee. The house is super comfortable as half of our family actually had to work the whole time we were here, and WiFi worked well. While we had adult children w us this home is great for kids of all ages. Thanksgiving

We had a family gathering in this lovely home. Kids had the lower level to have fun. Kitchen was very well equipped. The weather wasn't conducive to enjoy the outdoors, maybe next time.

Relaxing and Quiet Retreat

Our group of 8 sisters / cousins had a wonderful relaxing visit to Oak Bluffs. Brenda and David Bryan’s house with its open concept first floor allowed us to enjoy meals together in the large dining table where we also played card and put together a puzzle. Enjoyed watching World Series together. Found everything we needed to prepare and serve a few meals The whole house was clean and comfortable with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The weather was awesome in 60’s which allowed us to enjoy morning coffee on the deck and patio areas and we also took advantage of the fire pit in the evenings as we chatted and reminisced and enjoyed a glass of wine. What we loved the most was the location. It is on a dirt road as described. We so enjoyed our walks into town less than a mile away. Took beautiful pictures with the fall foliage.

Anniversary Getaway

Although the weather cut our trip short, we had a wonderful stay. David and Brenda were incredibly flexible, helpful and responsive to inquiries as we had to adjust our travel multiple times. The home is spacious, clean, and just a short walk or ride to Oak Bluffs. We've stayed here in the past and hope to be back again next year!

Your Quiet Retreat

Twenty-five-year Vineyard vacationers who have stayed in five different houses, we unanimously agree that this house is our favorite. Why? For starters, the rear outdoor area is unique. Nestled against a wooded area are a fire pit, a patio with Adirondack chairs and large redwood dining table with umbrella, a slightly raised lounge area with cushioned furniture covered by a motorized awning, a gas grill, and, of all things, a wood-fired pizza oven that reminded us of Barcelona in its design. Separate supplies of wood for the fire pit and the pizza oven are provided. We spent most of our time in this wonderful area; during our many hours there, I cannot recall hearing neighbors, automobiles or anything except for birds. Your perfect Vineyard hideaway within walking distance to Oak Bluffs. The house had been immaculately cleaned before our early-season arrival. The two master bedrooms were large; one of us appreciated the office attached to one of them. The kitchen was large and very well stocked; I’ve never known owners to provide skewers for roasting marshmallows over a fire. The house contains a large assortment of books, videos, CDs, puzzles and other items for distraction if needed. The large dining room table comfortably seated eight. The living room with TV and fireplace was ideal for playing games, chatting, or watching the NBA finals. We had no need to use the basement family room, but it would have served as a great place for kids. Like the deep blue Vineyard sky, we hope to return.

Our home was built new in 2006 with a number of upgrades. Cherry floors, custom cherry kitchen cabinets with granite counters, upgraded moldings, central air conditioning, trash compactor, ice maker in fridge, full size stackable washer/dryer.

We have set up our home to make it easy for you to enjoy your vacation. Available for your use as a part of renting our home are beach towels, beach chairs, portable crib & baby monitor. Our gas grill is tied into our underground tank so you will never need to worry about running out of fuel in the middle of a barbecue!
If you need to get some work done while you are on the Island we have a desk area in one of the Master suites with access to a scanner/printer.
