RedHouseNL, 21 Castella Lane, on kaunis, kodikas merenranta mökki kyydissä kallioilla pussi Cove Newfoundlandin, näkymät N Atlantin. Yläkerrassa se on 2 makuuhuonetta (Queen Beds) uskomattoman merinäkymät, pieni oleskelualue kahvia tai käsittelyssä katsella ja kylpyhuone kylpyammeella / suihku. Alakerrassa on keittiö, olohuone puuhella, "tutkimus" kirjoja ja täysikokoista futon joka voi taittaa 5. asiakkaalle, ja toinen kylpyhuone pois tutkimuksesta, jossa pilttuu suihku. Olohuone on valoisa, avoin ja tilava, tarjoavat uskomattoman merinäkymät. Sivuun olohuone on ruokailuhuone iso maalaismainen pöytä suuri aterioita, pelejä ja uskallan sanoa työtä ?!
House on myös suuri kansi pois takaisin, 4 Adirondack tuolit nauttia maisemista ja ehkä vilauksen valaita ja delfiinejä risteilyt mukaan. Puoli kannen pois ruokasali on varustettu 2 tuolit lisää samaa!

We had a wonderful stay—this property is truly a gem. The view of the cove and ocean is truly spectacular! It’s very comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly at home. The space is beautifully appointed, with touchers that fit the setting tie to Newfoundland and St. Johns. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips—fully equipped and clearly prepared with care. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We Loved Red House!

Every aspect of our stay was wonderful—communication with Chris and Kelly, ocean views from the deck, bedrooms, living room and dining room, ease of check-in and check out, fully equipped kitchen, availability of washer and dryer. Kelly and Chris have anticipated every need of the traveler. Appreciated the visit from Kelly and learning more about the property, Pouch Cove, and Newfoundland. Didn’t want to leave!

This stay exceeded my expectations! The home is clean, very comfortable and charming. The hosts have thought of everything. We felt at home right away. But the view and the location are so beautiful you can hardly leave the deck. We absolutely loved our time there and would return again in a heartbeat!

Comfortable, peaceful house overlooking the sea

This was our second stay at the Red House and as delightful as the first. The house is light and calming and generously equipped with everything you could possibly need. Proximity to St John’s and the Irish loop is a plus but the highlight is coming ‘home’ to enjoy sitting on the deck - with a book, a coffee, a glass of wine, binoculars to take in the birds and the whales. Thanks again to Kelly for her warm welcome - we hope to be back again.

Heaven on earth!! Amazing property, beautiful home, peaceful location.

We absolutely loved our stay at the red house. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway and close enough to St Johns for the Newfoundland experience. We mostly focused on hiking and the East Coast trail can’t be beat ! It was so nice to come back to the red house after a day of hiking. Waking up to an amazing sunrise with coffee to relaxing on the deck with a glass if wine.. heaven on earth. Chris and Kelley are amazing hosts and answered all of our questions and even had great suggestions for the area. We will definitely plan a return trip

Icebergs, whales, eagle…Oh My!

Thank you Chris and Kelly. The Red House was perfect!! We enjoyed our evenings by the fire and watching the whales and icebergs from the deck. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen so we could spend several evenings cooking dinner and relaxing after beautiful hikes that we walked to from the house. Grateful for all of your recommendations and hospitality!!

Spectacular views and people!

Nothing quite prepares you for the stunning views of the ocean! Everything about this vacation property was perfect for our family. It is located far enough away from everything else to provide a great getaway but, it is close enough to Pouch Cove and a short drive to St John’s. Bonus, the East Coast trail is within walking distance and definitely recommend for the views! The owners Kate and Chris are fantastic people and communicators! They were always quick to respond to any questions we had and let us in on where to pick wild blueberries. With respect to the Red House…well, what can I say? Spectacular views and although old is modernized, clean and everything works! Throughly enjoyed our stay and was regretfully too short! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Simply The Best

We could either be at a loss for words or go on forever about our stay at The Red House. Everything was absolutely perfect -- the fully equipped kitchen, having a washer and dryer available, the comfortable beds, the views from the bedrooms and deck, the convenience of being so close to everything for sightseeing, and the absolute charm of the house. The thoughtfulness of Chris and Carola leaving suggestions for dining, sight seeing, etc. was very much appreciated. Loved being greeted by two whales swimming by during our first morning there. Enjoying morning coffee and an evening drink was the deck was so relaxing. All in all, The Red House was perfect for our vacation. Vowing to be back. I highly recommend The Red House. A Magical Cottage by the Sea

My wife & I spent 2 wonderful weeks at the Red House. A beautiful, quiet spot at the end of the road overlooking the sea. The cottage was just as advertised. Kelly greeted us upon our arrival to make sure we were comfortably settled in. The owner (Chris) was very responsive to any questions we had. We spent most of our days hiking on the East Coast Trail (2 segments walking distance from the cottage and many more within a short drive). We also took the ferry to Bell Island & explored downtown St. John's. We enjoyed returning to this lovely cottage after the day's adventures. While relaxing on the deck we saw MANY whales everyday. Although this is a "simple" cottage, it is nicely furnished and is adorned with local photography and artwork. The library containing a variety of books about Newfoundland was also a nice touch. We had everything we needed to prepare & enjoy dinner each night. The cottage was very clean, and the beds were quite comfortable. While Pouch Cove is a very quiet small town at the "end of the earth", St. John's is only 25 minutes away for groceries, restaurants, etc. We highly recommend the Red House & we hope to return again.

The views really deliver!

Had an excellent stay! Property was clean and well stocked. Easy drive to St Johns Airport and downtown. The views were unbeatable....we even saw a couple of whales in the cove one night! Definitely one of the best places we've stayed, hope to come back again when we aren't doing tours in town so we can just enjoy the views the whole time.

We enjoyed this perfect location for sitting on the edge of the rocks and watching and listening to the ocean .Lots of trails to hike and also being close to St Johns for a more busier day. The front deck was our favorite place, to relax and read and just sit.

Lovely Place in Pouch Cove

This was a great place to stay on the Avalon Peninsula. The cottage was immaculate with a terrific ocean view. Beds were comfortable and everything worked. Close to St. John's, hiking trails and nature.

Top 10 most beautiful place on earth

The Red House is a gift to your soul. The peacefulness envelopes you upon arrival. The views off of the back deck and surrounding community are breathtaking. The house itself has everything you could possibly need. It’s so comfortable and inviting. The hostess Kelly was so thoughtful and kin. I can’t say enough.

Perfect Getaway

Had a stay in mid September--lots of amazing weather to experience: hot, cool, stormy, calm, hazy, crisp. Enjoyed the deck and sun and the cozy fireplace. So close to the East Coast Trail for great hikes. Had friends come for some meals and it was a great space to visit and enjoy. It feels remote yet safe. Really comfy beds--but older or little folks might want a step ladder to climb into them! Kelly and Chris were so welcoming and understanding about a hiccup with VRBO. It's a wonderful home in a perfect location. I would definitely come again!

Could not have been better

If you want a nice house on a nice property in a nice town and a friendly responsive owner, this is a the house for you. The views in every direction are breathtaking. Pouch Cove is a very walkable small town with friendly people. The house is very well equipped including extra jackets and Bose bluetooth speakers that I paired with my phone daily. A shout out to Sharon who did a fantastic job of cleaning the house before our arrival. My only regret is that our stay wasn't longer.

I take pride in my property and am responsive to any of my renters needs. The Red House is fully furnished and has all the amenities of home to make your stay comfortable, cozy and revitalizing!

This property is special and you will understand the minute you walk inside. The view of the ocean is mesmerizing! From the vastness of the water to the waves crashing on the cliffs, you will not be able to look away! The sunrises are spectacular along with the occasional whale sightings, many different birds and of course icebergs. Even at night, when it is totally dark, you can hear and feel the ocean. The fresh ocean air is wonderful!

The house is extremely cozy and comfortable inside. I like the winter season the best with the wood stove going and watching it snow outside. It's a great escape! During the summer, the back deck is the place to be. Four adirondack chairs facing the ocean keep you and your favourite beverage occupied for hours!
