7 Duneside Drive-Smith

Tämä perhe tyyli puolivälissä saarella mökissä on neljä makuuhuonetta kahdessa tasossa ja mahtuu yksitoista vierasta. Ensimmäinen taso on queen-vuode ja kerrossänky yhdistelmä mahtuu kolme vierasta. Toinen taso on iso oleskelutila koko leveydeltä mökki ruokailutila ja Viereisessä keittiössä. Vuodepaikkaa kahdeksan vieraat ovat kolme makuuhuonetta ja futon ruokailutila, joka avautuu kaksi singleä ja voidaan tehdä king size-vuode. Makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode ja vieressä on kylpyamme. Kaksi jäljelle jäänyttä makuuhuonetta jakaa suihku kylpyamme. Yhdessä makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode ja toisessa makuuhuoneessa on kaksi erillistä vuodetta. Palvelut ovat täysin varustettu keittiö, jossa mikroaaltouuni, leivänpaahdin uuni, kahvinkeitin, astianpesukone, ja tehosekoitin. On suojattu Wi-Fi ja siellä on televisiot oleskelutilassa ja kaikissa huoneissa paitsi makuuhuone erillisillä vuoteilla. Saatavana on silitysrauta ja -lauta. Ensimmäisellä tasolla on pesutupa, jossa on pesukone ja kuivaaja, ja on suljettu ulkosuihku. Suora pääsy rannalle on lopussa Dune puolella ja kävelymatkan päässä rannalta on alle viisi minuuttia. Saapumisaika on kuusitoista ja kassapää on kello 10.

Great vacation spot!

We have stayed here several years now and have always had a great experience! This year was no different. The home is just as described and perfect for our family. Plenty of space and close to the beach access. The deck has been replaced and is beautiful! We were able to visit briefly with the owners and it’s always a pleasure to see them.

Great for a large family vacation

I stayed at this property for a week with my husband, my 7 month old baby, and my sister and her partner and 4 children. We had a great time! The place had plenty of space and seating for us to spend time as a family. I think it could have been slightly more clean upon arrival (but my standards in general tend to be unusually high). I also don't like how the bottom apartment is detached from the rest of the place. The laundry room downstairs also would get incredibly hot to the point my glasses would fog up and it was uncomfortable to be there. Overall, the property is amazing value for the price.

Great location to beach!

We had a good experience here. The downstairs apartment was a bit musty smelling, no one wanted to sleep there. Great distance from beach and kids had fun.

Perfect!

My husband and I rented for a month and enjoyed every second! Perfect location to the beach and only a 15 min walk to restaurants. Fully stocked kitchen, clean, and accommodating host. Definitely hope to rent the home again in the future!

Mr and Mrs Smith could not have been nicer, the property has lots of room for guests. However, it is quite dated and needs a deep cleaning. Otherwise, close to the beach and nice outdoor shower.

Great get away

This is out second time staying here. Perfect for our family with the space and extra apartment downstairs. Close walk to the beach is a definite plus! Everything you need in the kitchen to have meals at home after a fun day in the beach. Can't beat the price! Look forward to coming down again next year!

Golf/fish/beach vaca

Location was perfect, beach access less than 1 block, pier within walking distance, inter coastal access nearby. 50 minutes from Myrtle Beach and shopping, 15 minutes to Walmart, golf. Purses everywhere. Would stay again if I needed a place for 6 or more

A very nice family beach house!

Herb was very accommodating, and the house was perfect for 8 adults and one child! The front and back decks provided a nice place for my 94-year-old father to hang out. Mornings on the back deck, evenings on the front deck. My 2 brothers enjoyed having their own space downstairs. Plenty of off-street parking and lots of chairs, umbrellas and beach toys for children on site. Close to the public access area for beach and the outdoor shower was invaluable for after-beach cleanup. Highly recommend this beach home for a large group.

Wonderful cottage

This was my second time staying at this property. Cottage is as described. Very clean and well equipped in the kitchen. Upon check in we noticed that the toilet seat was missing a bolt, I messaged Herb. He responded quickly and the seat was replaced. We will definately return!

Fun filled vacation with GREAT location

Great vacation home, overall to accommodate a large number of us. You do not have to bring anything, they have all that you need for cooking and baking, in regards for utensils, ect. They do have Sun set slush cups to use for beach when the young men walk by to sell. Just make sure as courtesy to wash and put back. The deck is aged. The nails were popping right out there spots. My nephew thought nothing of it walking around the deck barefoot until a nail lifted right out of a board into his foot. It’s going to happen. The decks take a beating in the heat and salt from the water. The coach roaches are HUGE. We killed two. When I opened the cupboard one ran away. They were outside scattering across the lawn and underneath breezeway where cars are parked when Sun was setting. Again, comes with the territory of heat and they’re hard to get rid of with so many houses and apartments on the island. The charcoal grill takes a bit for grilling but also to your preference and patience. Downstairs room smelt musky when first entering but was SO convenient when coming back from beach to use the bathroom there instead of having to walk up stairs and into main living area.

Nice overall

First the location is perfect! It’s 3 houses away from beach access. We rented a sun shade for the week so we didn’t even need to drag a bunch of umbrellas with us. We rented a golf cart as well but didn’t really need it. The house itself is older. It was very clean and comfortable. Our only real issue was the AC struggles to keep up with the really hot weather. It would catch up at night but get up to 75-76 degrees during the day. The owner did send someone out to add Freon but that didn’t work. They said it would need new ductwork to fix the air flow. The ceiling fan in the living room doesn’t work. The downstairs does have a musty smell but they do have a dehumidifier installed. On our last day there were ants in the cabinets above the microwave and some in the bathrooms. I also wish there were rugs in the bathrooms by the showers. We laid down towels to keep from slipping on the floor. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It’s a great price for the location. The beds were comfortable. Also it would be nice to have at least one roll of toilet paper to start. When we arrived from a long drive we needed to use the bathroom but there wasn’t a single roll in the house.

Great value

Very good place. A bit older, but everything was good to go. We spend most of our travels away from where we stay, and here we spent most of time at beach anyways. Recommended for families or friend groups.

Great beach house!

We had a great week here! The house was a very short and convienent walk to the beach. (We were not aware of the no tent rule at this beach but luckily we found an umbrella to use in the laundry room so that saved us money from having to go buy an umbrella!) We loved the outdoor shower at the house. It was so nice to be able to shower the kids off so they didn’t have to come inside all sandy. There were plenty of seating options outside to enjoy the ocean breeze. We loved the front porch chairs and the swing on the lower level. We were very comfortable during our stay and found what we needed in the kitchen. The only problem we had was several ants in the kitchen and master bathroom so we made sure to keep our food well wrapped up and kept wiping off the counters. The carpets could also use a good cleaning or better yet replaced with hard floors. The extra room downstairs was a nice option as well since it had a seperate entry. There were plenty of great resturants and other fun things to do in the area. We have such fun memories from our week here! Thanks for a great beach house!

Older home, but had everything we needed to have a great week at Ocean Isle. Plenty of room and very short walk to the beach. Kitchen well supplied to be able to cook meals after a fun day at the beach. Great find! Hope to stay again next year!

Fun Family Getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay at Duneside Drive. It was just as advertised. The location was excellent for our group just a short walk to the beach and a short drive to area activities. We loved the open floor plan!

We are a retired couple that live in Greensboro, NC. We, and our family enjoy the atmosphere of the beach and ocean, and we go to the beach as frequently as possible.

We also own the adjacent cottage, 9 Duneside, which we purchase in 1997. The previous owner's family built 7 Duneside in 1974 We had the opportunity to buy it and we did. It is an ideal location to the beach. The previous owner had regular customers that rented the place, so we decided to continue the practice..

The layout of 7 Duneside is ideal for a family to occupy. The bedrooms allow comfortably for 6 wit the futon in the living for two more. The downstairs apartment allows for an additional three people, preferably younger people. The living space and kitchen upstairs allows for comfortable informal atmosphere.
The beach is just four houses away. The outdoor shower allows for washing off sand from the beach and bathing before going into the cottage.Access to the property by auto is straight forward.
