Sinut kutsutaan nauttimaan lomastasi tai matkallasi tÀlle ihanalle loma-alueelle tÀllÀ tahrattomalla ja erittÀin tilavalla hiljattain uusitussa Coloradon talossa, josta on upeat panoraamanÀkymÀt Front Rangelle, Pikes Peakille ja Yhdysvaltain ilmavoimien akatemialle. TÀmÀ mukautettu suuri kolmen makuuhuoneen talo tarjoaa viihtyisiÀ, huippuluokan majoituksia kuudelle hengelle. Vuorille pÀin oleva suuri kansi on tÀydellinen paikka nauttia henkeÀsalpaavista auringonnousuista ja auringonlaskuista, katsella hÀmmÀstyttÀviÀ kolibreja kesÀllÀ, ottaa mahtavaa nÀkymÀÀ Pikes Peakiin, grillata, ajaa kuntopyörÀllÀ, nauttia kylpytynnyrissÀ tÀhdellÀ taivaan alla (kevÀt, kesÀ, syksy tai talvi) tai vain istuu kuistilla keinalla nauttien raikkaasta vuoristoilmasta ja korkeista mÀntyistÀ yksityisellÀ yhden hehtaarin erÀllÀ. Avoin konsepti, poikkeuksellisen suuret huoneet ovat tÀydellinen paikka nauttia yhdessÀ ajasta kaasutakan edessÀ, pelata pelejÀ, katsella televisiota sekÀ ruokaa ja nauttia aterioita yhdessÀ keittiössÀ / ruokasalissa (helposti 12 paikkaa) tai kannella. Keittiö on tÀysin varustettu uusilla ruostumattomasta terÀksestÀ valmistetuilla laitteilla ja kodin kaikilla mukavuuksilla. Valot syttyvÀt ja siellÀ on kahvia, teetÀ ja suklaita valmiina sinulle saapuessasi.

Kun muutimme tÀnne Minneapoliselta vuonna 2009, tuskin uskoimme löytÀvÀmme tÀydellistÀ taloa rauhallisella, yksityisellÀ alueella, joka sijaitsee korkeiden mÀntyjen keskellÀ ja josta on upeat nÀkymÀt Front Rangelle, Pikes Peakille ja Ilmavoimien akatemialle. Talolla oli WOW-vaikutus meihin, ja sillÀ on edelleen sama vaikutus kaikkiin vieraileviin.

Incredible House and Hosts!

7 of us stayed at this property, and it was wonderful. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, and take great pride in caring for their home. The location was great to get to all the local attractions, yet we still felt secluded in the mountains/woods. We saw a mule deer nearby, loved the hot tub and views, and the house had toys/legos for our 3 kids which they loved. The treehouse was a huge highlight for the kids as well, who played there for hours during the trip. There was a brief issue with AC which the hosts personally addressed asap. We'd definitely stay here again!

A fabulous stay for our son’s Academy Graduation!

We had an incredible stay at this house for our son’s 2023 Air Force Academy Graduation. I would actually say the description of the house does not do it justice. Tons of space to spread out, and great little touches throughout. Open kitchen (that was very well stocked) enabled us to cook and gather between graduation events. Huge master bath and closet. The deck, grill, and outside seating were amazing. Tons of parking for all! Overall, we can not have asked for a better house to celebrate his graduation!

Arrived as the owners were leaving and was so delighted to meet them! They gave us a quick tour and a couple tips before they left. Our group included a baby - pack and play, booster seat and lots of toys and books made his stay enjoyable. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook meals - condiments were provided in the fridge. We loved the open layout and gorgeous deck views. We visited several local attractions within reasonable driving distance. Walmart was less than 10 minutes away.

USAFA Graduation Perfection

We stayed here with our smaller family group of 6 people for our daughter’s graduation from the U.S. Air Force Academy 2024. The house is beautiful, clean, has every amenity, and is in the perfect location with amazing views. The hot tub was nice after a long, busy day, the well equipped kitchen and bbq grill made it easy to eat at home, and the wifi and cable TV kept us entertained during our (scarce) free time. Sharon and Larry were fantastic hosts who were readily available, friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this property and would like to revisit again in the future.

USAFA Parents Weekend

We wanted a house with a view of Pike's Peak for Parents Weekend, and this delivered with the added bonus of a view of the Academy. Very quiet neighborhood and convenient to the North Gate. Extremely well-equipped house, particularly with all the cookware. The owners were super-helpful and friendly, even walking me through a minor issue with the hot tub. The house has a definite vacation feel, which we and our cadet greatly appreciated.

Genuinely perfect

We stayed at this fabulous home for a week, visiting the area for our son's USAFA graduation. Sharon and Larry were just amazing - communicative, caring, and thoughtful. We were only sorry we didn't get to meet them in person! Everything was truly spectacular, and we are so grateful for the experience.

Cabin in the mountain

Our stay (6 adult and an infant) at this beautiful home was just great. Multiple comments were made about how nice the place was. The communication from Sharon was so great, she went above and beyond and I truly felt like she cared bout our experience at their home and our trip! Very last minute I decided to bring our 4 month old daughter and Sharon had a pack n play ready for us! The only letdown was we believed the hot tub was open but came to find out that they shut it down in the winter due to a burst pipe years ago and forgot to change the note in the VRBO description. But I won’t hold it against them because it was still such a lovey stay 😊 I highly recommend this VRBO!

This lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are warm and welcoming and clearly communicated all the information necessary for a hassle-free stay and to make check in and check out a breeze. Everything we were looking for and more

Our family stayed at this property for the USAFA 2021 graduation. The property owners were easy to communicate with, and made accessing the home simple. The home is beautifully decorated and had more than enough room for the seven of us. We had some local family join us for a dinner one evening and the space was perfect for everyone to spread out and enjoy good conversation. The kitchen is very large with high quality cookware and service. Many, many extras are provided by the owners...from spices in the kitchen to toiletries you may have forgotten. But best of all is the living room and deck where you have a fantastic view of USAFA and Pikes Peak...we sat in the hot tub and enjoyed this view for quite a bit. We would absolutely stay in this home again! Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

A Truly Wonderful Property with Exceptional Hosts

Larry and Sharon’s property is absolutely beautiful. The house sits atop a hill with an amazing view of the mountains and includes tons of natural light. It is incredibly clean and well maintained, and includes all of the luxurious amenities that one might need for a 5-star stay. Larry and Sharon are wonderful people and extremely accommodating. They make you truly feel special when staying at their property. They are very punctual and make the whole process, from the moment you book, to the moment you check out, a completely hassle free experience. This property is an absolute gem, and its owners make a beautiful place to stay feel like a true home away from home. We look forward to staying here again in the near future!

Great trip

Great trip the kitchen was so well stocked/ the view was breath taking! The only problem we had was navigating the hot tub! It has to be emptied every night and was only like warm gurvus but everything else was awesome! The bed was So very comfortable. The master bath was beautiful! Would love to return!

Incredible property! Beautifully maintained, gorgeous views, large comfortable interior + location

We loved our stay in this beautiful, warm peaceful home for a week over Thanksgiving break! We loved the comfy beds, the gorgeous large kitchen and counter space for cooking + large table for hosting family who live nearby and the large hot tub on the deck with amazing mountain views. The host Sharon was very warm and welcoming and made sure that everything was set up perfectly for our stay. She left amazing little touches like breakfast items for our first morning, legos and toys for our young son and tea, cookies and chocolates for us! The house has absolutely everything you will need to feel at home. Location is central between Denver and Colorado Springs with many activities in the surrounding area. I would recommend this home for anyone seeking a beautiful home in a gorgeous setting to gather with friends and family. We can't wait to return.

The property and its surroundings are beautiful and the views are gorgeous. We visited USAFA on several occasions and it never took us more then 10 minutes drive to reach its North gate. The home is super comfortable, it has a gourmet kitchen and a living room with sweeping views of the Air Force Academy and the mountains. The bedrooms and the bathrooms are vast and airy. The decor is tasteful, with artistic highlights. The home is immaculate, clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed more then pleasant dinners and soulful conversations on the large deck, comfortably seated and surrounded by hummingbirds, pine treas, beautiful flowers in containers and views of the mountains. Overall, this is a luxurious property. It is more beautiful in reality compared to the pictures. The owners are delightful people. They were welcoming and beyond accommodating. Our stay was just wonderful and we hope to return many more times. Thank you Sharon and Larry!

Comfortable location !

We were looking for a house with a view!! Three bedrooms and two baths. We wanted our two girls in their mid 20’s to have their own space when we came back from hiking etc.. it was perfect for that. All three rooms were comfortable. The kitchen was just like home, anything you needed and a washer and dryer. The deck was wonderful! We spent time relaxing and watching all the hummingbirds. We would recommend Sharon and Larry’s home 100%. We didn’t know anything about Colorado so we looked for what we knew we wanted first, the house. I do have to say it’s 30 minutes to an hour from the tourist locations like pikes peak, royal gorge .. but very much what we wanted. Thank you so much Sharon and Larry.

Fantastic home, wonderful hosts

What a lovely home! Spacious, well decorated, very clean and in an excellent neighborhood. We could not have been more pleased with our decision to stay here while visiting the area. Easy drive to Colorado Springs to see the sights, but away from the congestion of that area during tourist season. Sharon and Larry were so very thoughtful and excellent with communication. Sharon made the home welcoming for our young travelers by placing age appropriate toys throughout the house. I can't say enough about the top notch experience we had here. Wonderful retreat!

We stayed here for 5 nights while we moved into our house in a nearby neighborhood. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck and have dinner after a long day of unpacking boxes. The views are beautiful and the house is very comfortable. Our kids loved all the toys and had fun exploring outside. This house is a perfect retreat and the hosts are very responsive and friendly. We're excited to have new neighbors!

A perfect stay!

My husband and I were privileged to have spent a month in Sharon and Larry’s beautiful home, summer 2017. We had rented the previous August in Lake Tahoe through VRBO and we didn’t think that we could find a home anywhere near as nice but we were so wrong. Sharron and Larry’s home exceeded our expectations and then some. The rooms are spacious with gorgeous views and beautifully appointed. There were so many “little touches” that truly made our visit memorable. The attractions and activities are all nearby so the travel time was very manageable. Of all the wonderful amenities, the biggest treat was getting to meet Sharon and Larry. They are amazingly warm and compassionate people who go out of their way to insure that you have a fantastic visit. Anyone considering this home should definitely book. We could not have been happier!

Beautiful Home with a beautiful view!

Spent a wonderful week in this very nice home! We didn't want to leave. The views from the patio are stunning. This home is very special, from the floors, furniture, kitchen, bedrooms, etc... Fully stocked kitchen with every you can think of from silverware, spices, plates, glasses. Location is fantastic and the neighborhood is very quiet. Awesome place some for some quality R&R. Even had a few deer walk up to the house a couple of times. Colorado Springs is such a nice place with plenty of things to do. We will be back!

For years we vacationed in this area, visiting our children who loved Colorado and moved here. We fell in love with this area, too, and decided to move here from Minneapolis in 2009. We searched for a Colorado-style house in the forest that would have a wonderful view of the mountains, large rooms, high ceilings, and an open concept kitchen, dining and living room area. This house met all the criteria as well as location. . . location. . . location. This house makes you feel like you are always on vacation!! We continue to be amazed at the beauty of the views from this house every single day of every season.
