Perheen tai aikuisen päästä hauskaa! 3500 neliöjalkaa hirsimökki henkeäsalpaavassa Alice-järvellä. Mökissä on 4 makuuhuonetta, joissa on 3 erillistä vuodetta ja 6 queen-vuodetta, yhteensä 15 hengen majoituksesta. Mökissä on myös 3 kylpyhuonetta, pääkerroksen pyykinpesu, avokeittiö, täysikokoisilla laitteilla, iso keittiöpöytä, aamiaisbaari ja oleskelualue takalla. Tilavassa kodissa on myös valtava perhehuone ala-kerroksessa, jossa on kävelymatka, täydellinen paikka perhejuhliin.
Cove vie sinut sinne, missä haluat olla. Sijainti on täydellinen kaikkiin neljään vuodenaikaan. Alice-järvellä, 1 438 hehtaarin suuruisella järvellä, on hienoa kalastusta, mukaan lukien Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, pohjoinen hauki ja Walleye. Family vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation at this property. Dale & property management team were always available for questions. The property was beautiful, loved the beach area. The air conditioning wasn’t working well, very warm.especially upstairs. Our only suggestions would be to upgrade the towels and get the air conditioning fixed.

Relaxing House in the Woods

Clean, easy to check in, plenty of beds and space to spread out. Basement is huge, along with its full bathroom was a very nice surprise. View incredible.

40th Anniversary

We had great weather all week! We had our kids and grandkids here to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. The place was great and plenty of room for all. The four granddaughters loved their room, each had their own bed and al ltogether in one large room.

Thumbs up for Snowmobiling

This was our third year in a row renting this property for our family snowmobile weekend! The house is great and has enough rooms and beds to suit our needs with seven adults and five children. Easy access to the lake from the driveway to enjoy snowmobiling right on the lake or link up with a trail.

Awesome!

Family weekend for 14 people, there was plenty of room for playing, eating, and visiting. The cabin was well cared for, clean, and very comfortable. Great location just off Hwy. 51, easy to find and only a few miles from Tomahawk. The lake is beautiful and the small beach was just right for sand castles and launching kayaks. We visited in early October, the colors were spectacular, especially reflecting on the lake.

Family Vacation

The cabin was beautiful and worked out wonderful for our large family. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was very well stocked with appliances and utensils. It was great having a second fridge in the garage. We loved all of the trees and wild life. We saw many loons, toads, bald eagles, deer and wild turkey. Several in our group went fishing and everyone caught something. The trophy of the trip was a 31” northern pike. Many great memories and lots of fun.

Family Oasis

Overall we had a great stay. Communication with the property manager was fantastic. If you have a large group this is an option to consider. Definitely recommend renting the pontoon boat, the daily cruises were the best part of the day. Few options for eating and cocktails on the lake. The beach area was nice, gradual drop off and sandy bottom made it ideal for the kids. Plenty of fish to be caught right off the docks, and further out on the lake. We mainly caught bluegill and bass. Grocery store and town only about 10 minutes away. We visited Bootleggers awesome view and great food, Pine Pointe (lake Alice), Windmill for Ice cream Hewitt Meat Market, Pine Tree supper club for an excellent fish fry, and the Cheese Shoppe for fresh curds. The only thing I would suggest is that after each stay they rake the beach area to keep the sand soft and weed free. My wife spent some time doing this and it made a big difference. We would highly recommend this property.

Very well appointed Cabin with open space for large groups

We stayed at the Cottage on Lake Alice for the New Years weekend with a large family group. The cottage is very spacious with large bedroom upstairs over the garage that worked out very well to accommodate all of the cousins in one room which was quite fun for them. WiFi was not operational and cell coverage lacked for nearly everyone one of us being in the North Woods. The proximity to Tomahawk was a bonus for shopping for food and drinks. The check in process and communication were great. We would definitely look to stay here again in the future with this big group if it happens again for New Years!

Review

Our only complaint is that the basement in freezing while the main floor is at thermostat temperature and the upstairs is sweltering. There are thermostats on each level but the basement and upstairs are disabled. We were not able to keep people sleeping on each floor comfortable.

Our Annual Family Summer Vacation

Our family of 9 adults and one tween enjoyed our stay--the accommodations were spacious, kitchen well stocked, the extra refrigerator a bonus. We had wonderful weather and the grounds and the lake were great for yard games and swimming. The sand beach was especially appreciated along with the frog residents along the shore. We would consider staying there again. One small glitch was the follow through on information sent to us for entrance. Garage door was not opened as promised and we had neither a contact phone number or garage code. A kind neighbor and our adult children enroute solved the problem. I would suggest both be included in the email with directions and address. This would be more in sync with our previous VRBO rentals. All was well after that issue was solved.

Quiet and Comfortable

This is our 4th year in a row!! Our family came to snowmobile and we had tons of fun even though there wasn't enough snow. We love the comfortable beds, easy check-in, great access to the lake. We are thankful for Dale's kindness to a special request we had and the property manager (new from last year) did an outstanding job! Friendly, great communication and a quick response to supply dishwasher soap that was missing, but stated would be supplied). She was terrific to work with!! Other details: we have a group of 13 now (8 adults & 5 small kids) and found the main floor hang out space, living/dining, growing a bit small. We sit family-style for meals which isn't for everyone, but thought I'd point it out if it mattered. If you spread out to the basement there's plenty of room. The heating and ventilation is pretty tricky. We come in the winter and find it takes time and finesse to try and regulate some rooms: the bedroom over the garage is freezing, the main floor bedrooms are like saunas, and the basement is hot. There are a few items that we wished would be provided so we don't have to bring them from home (a few more folding chairs, lids that fit pots, lamps for the upstairs bedrooms) The place also is in need of a deep cleaning. The cleaning staff do a super job for a regular clean, but a deep clean of cobwebs/thick dust on walls, beams, & carpet edges would feel more welcoming.I just messaged Dale about this & I'm confident he'll respond to it! He's great to work with!

Second stay and another great time for everyone

This was our second rental of this cottage. Four families and we all had room. Sat TV worked well and was used by the kids a few times in the mornings when breakfast was being made. All of the amenities worked just fine. Two families did some fishing. One group went very early and did well with pan fish. The other didn't catch much but had fun. Most of us went ATV riding at times and everyone used the pontoon boat. One family brought a small sail boat and another brought a fishing boat. Daily swimming by all of the kids. Brought along an inflatable water trampoline and anchored it out in deeper waters. A giant snapping turtle was the big panic of the week. Buy firewood locally or get some kiln dried stuff to bring up (please don't bring invasive insects up with your own wood) for the fire pit. Firewood is not provided nor is there a lot of dead stuff to scrounge. Insects were at a minimum. Plan on doing some serious space planning with the refrigerator space as it runs out quickly. Bring coolers and do ice runs as needed. We learned from last year and bought our groceries locally. Much easier than hauling it all up. Just a fantastic location and a beautiful cottage. You can tell the owner cares. There is also a dumpster for garbage that is new since our visit last year. Makes it much easier than remembering what day it is supposed to go out. Last year we didn't want to leave it out for fear of raccoons messing with it and missed the pick up day. Only issue I had was in filling up the pontoon boat. You can get gas on the lake but it was raining hard the day I left. Bought gas locally in a 6 gallon can that is in the garage (pontoon takes probably 20 when full!). The gas can is one of those California compliant designs. Get your gas at the station near the low bridge on the lake and save yourself the hassle of the CA can nightmare.

Great Family Vacation

Thanks for another great year at Lake Alice. We really appreciated the additional sand that was brought onto the beach and chairs on the deck. Our only complaint is that the beams in the living room were very dusty; they "snowed" down on us anytime the wind blew.

Perfect family vacation

Our family,including our children and grandchildren, thoroughly enjoyed the house on Lake Alice. Facilities were excellent and well stocked. The full service grocery store a few miles away was an added bonus. It was clean and organized. Our only suggestion would be to have maybe a pool table, ping-pong table or related entertainment item in the basement if possible for use during inclement weather. A nice diversion. But nothing takes away from our wonderful experience in Tomahawk!
