Tämä 3 makuuhuoneen 2 kylpyhuoneen kaksikerroksinen Cape on yksityinen, hiljainen, ja näkymät kaunis karpalo suohon. Sisältä se on ilmava ja avoin maalaismainen, Euroopan charmia. Olohuone, ruokapöydän ja keittiö ovat yksi suuri puupaneloidussa avoin tila. Helppo päästä, talo sijaitsee kätevästi pois Route 28, lopussa hiljaisen umpikujan varrella. Suuri kannella talon takana, voit nauttia kupillisen teetä aamulla, aurinkoisella rusketuksen puolivälissä päivä tai ilta cocktail, kaikki mitään, mutta luonto kuin taustalla. Kävele alas lyhyt polku johtaa ihana kävellä rauhallinen karpalo suon, joilla voit usein paikalla egret tai suuri sininen harmaahaikara.

Nice family home

Nice place to stay with our family. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and being close to beautiful beaches and hikes. Great home base for our longer day trips.

Nice quiet stay in a comfortable roomy house in a neighborhood near beaches, stores and restaurants. Ocean side beaches further up the cape within easy driving distance as well. Highly recommended.

Great Location!

Lovely stay. The location of the property is fantastic- a quick drive into downtown Chatham, a short drive to multiple beautiful beaches, and an amazing view/setting over the cranberry bog. The back deck alone was worth the trip. The house may be a bit older but its charming- this is was a traditional Cape House should be! Thanks for a great visit!

Nice Rustic Home in great location

We had a nice stay in Chatham. Lyn and Alex are very responsive and willing to help out. We comfortably slept 7, with a great ability to relax on the outdoor deck. Perfect location in Cape Cod - very near the beach and easy drive to the bay or national seashore. We had a great stay, all in all.

Great week at the Cape!

Clean and spacious house that is centrally located and in a quiet neighborhood. Our family (2 adults, 2 teens, 1 child) had plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the back deck overlooking a cranberry bog, for morning coffee and evening relaxation. Centrally located for biking - we biked to Schoolhouse Pond and along the bike trail to Chatham and to lighthouse beach.

A true gem!

This property was perfect for my family (2 adults and three young adult children). It was clean and had everything you need to be comfortable for a week’s stay on the Cape. The location was central on the cape, with stores close by for last minute needs as well as a Dunkin’ Donuts for coffee. It’s on a cul-de-sac and is quiet. The property managers are very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Tranquil Chatham Getaway

We had a great week in Chatham spending time at the pristine beaches, shopping and eating in the center of town. The house was central to all activities—-clean and peaceful. We utilized the grille for a few cookouts with friends. The outdoor shower was nice and the beach chairs came in handy as they were provided by the owners. We enjoyed playing the various board games and flipping through the National Geographic magazines. We will definitely be back and rent again next summer! Great stay! Thanks Lyn and Alex!

Bog Relaxation

We had a wonderful 7 day stay at this charming traditional Cape Cod home. The deck with beautiful views of a working cranberry farm provided hours of relaxation and tranquility. The kitchen is fully stocked with any cooking or grilling gadget you might need. The dated electric stove is hard to regulate but the Weber grill made up for that. The house was very clean. The location is perfect-close to everything and walking distance to Marion’s Pies (a must!). The hosts were easy to communicate and very responsive which was much appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience to stay there and just what these two city dwellers needed. A stay is highly recommended. However, the king sized bed is actually two twin beds pushed together. The first night was challenging but we soon realized there were a lot of extra blankets and filled in the gap. If we had stayed longer, we would have needed to stuff more blankets in there. We were curious and looked up the house and learned it was built in 1974. The house and appliances look as though it’s still 1974. This is part of its charm and the house and is very well loved (kids growth charts are still on the wall). However, some maintenance to the deck and modern upgrades (appliances, bathrooms), a few new pieces of furniture (dressers, lamps), and some decluttering would add tremendously to this lovely traditional Cape Cod home. So much so, we might want to move in!

Quaint stay in a private location of our favorite town

Awesome cottage in Chatham!

This property was perfect for what we needed! The location is perfect, with downtown Chatham less than a 10 minute drive in one direction and Harwich the same in the other. The deck was so peaceful, and we often used the grill to cook out together. Super close to beaches and bike paths too. Great stay!

Nice location. Place is as advertised. Could use newer furniture in living room and just local basic cable channels. Wanted to watch the Red Sox on NESN and ESPN and channels not authorized.

Amazing and cozy stay!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this unique and cozy Chatham house. On days where we wanted to stay home and relax we found the house soothing and comforting. The house has an amazing character and made us really feel like we were on an adventure away from home. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Chatham and this beautiful house. :)

Wonderful place to stay on the Cape!

Alex and Lyn's property was the perfect place for us to stay on our first trip to Cape Cod! Rooms were spacious and clean, and there was more than enough space for our group of 5. The back deck was a big hit - it was so quiet and peaceful! We spent many mornings out there enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the birds and made good use of the grill at dinner time. Plenty of board games and a tv that we made use of on the rainy days. Location was great - it was very easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go. Many smaller beaches nearby (Ridgevale was especially lovely at sunset), but we also definitely recommend heading to some of the National Seashore beaches (Cahoon Hollow parking filled up fast, but nearby White Crest Beach was stunning and a perfect place to spend the day). Alex and Lyn were amazing hosts - very responsive and provided great recommendations. We're very thankful to them for letting us stay in their lovely property!

Amazing Stay on the Cape

We had an amazing week on the Cape -- excellent location and property. The back deck was perfect and the interior of the house was bigger than we expected. It had everything we needed. Check-in was seamless as was communicating with the owners. Highly recommend!

Simple and close to everything

We had a great time biking to the bay, kayaking, biking on the bike trail to Nickerson state park. Biked to play tennis and hoops off the trail. Drove to national sea shore a few times. Biked thru town of Chatham for candy. And also went bowling next town over. The only downside was everything closed early due to covid. Otherwise great stay. Thx

Charming place

The place is exactly as advertised on the photos. The location is great to explore many different spots in Cape Cod. We were 5 people and all had a wonderful week there. The owners are very helpful and quick to reply!

Charming, warmhearted and practical

One of those rare place where you can escape time. Wilderness on the patio, confortable and roomy inside with lots of lecture, games in number for the whole family... 5 minutes to Chatham, it's a perfect stay from truly simple and welcoming host. This place hold's some of the best memories of our time. Thank you so much, looking forward our next stay!

Relaxing holiday!

The description is accurate and everything was as expected, in particular the lovely deck overlooking the cranberry bog. A car is needed to explore beaches and the area. Nice bike trails nearby. Communication with owners working well.

Great home away from home!

We can't express how pleased we were with this house. The place is full of charm, rustic and immediately makes you feel relaxed. We are a family of five and there was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy. We appreciated the location, close to the beaches and downtown, yet in a quiet setup with just nature in the background. The house is full of books, games for the kids and beach stuff. Our three kids enjoyed sleeping in the same room upstairs with three twin beds. Outside, you can see egrets and herons on the cranberry bog just down the path and have a glass of wine on the spacious deck. Since the rates were so reasonnable for a Cape house, we treated ourselves with a two-week vacation, which is so much better. The owners were really kind to deal with and we can't think of any negative aspect about this house.

We have always thought Chatham was the best place to stay on the Cape, and when we were children our parents used to rent a cottage for us to spend a family vacation week there. But they always had their sights set on a little spot overlooking a cranberry bog close-by, and when that went up for sale in 1976, they snapped it up. Before long we had this lovely vacation home built, and have loved it ever since. We're happy to share it with others who will love it as we do.
