Tule pohjoiseen Gacin pakoon Spider-järvelle rentoutumaan ja nauttimaan järvestä. Kaksikerroksisessa mökissämme on se upea rantatalo, joka on etelään päin. Se on paras paikka järvellä! Siellä on kolme makuuhuonetta, yksi kylpyamme ja pääasiallinen olohuone / ruokailutila / keittiö. Mökki nukkuu kuusi ja kaikista huoneista on näkymät järvelle. Siellä on yksi kuningas, kuningatar ja parivuode. Keittiössä on kaikki välttämätön - täysikokoinen jääkaappi, sähköliesi / uuni ja mikroaaltouuni. Kylpyhuoneessa on kylpyamme ja suihku. GG: llä on 60 metriä yksityistä ranta julkisivua, täysin hiekkaa, joka on vain 40 metrin päässä mökistä. Kun nautit aamukahvissasi kuistilla turvatulla näytöllä, kuulet kuikkalinnut, näette ankkoja, hanhia, mahdollisesti kotkan ja kaikenlaisia muita kriittejä.
Spider Lake on kevään ruokinta, 459 hehtaarin koko urheilujärvi. Se on erinomainen kalastukseen, hiihtoon, letkuihin, uimiseen ja muihin vesiurheiluun, joista voit ajatella. Järvellä on useita tutkittavaa lahtia ja saaria. Ulkopuolelta löydät oman laiturisi, "Blue Fin", 14-jalkaisen soutuveneen, joka on varustettu sähköisella uistelumoottorilla ja hengenpelastajilla sekä melavene omaan käyttöösi. Siellä on mukava kaasugrilli, ulkokalusteet ja takkakuoppa. Halutessasi voit tuoda myös oman veneesi. DNR-käynnistyspaikka on 1. 5 mailin päässä.
Jos voit repiä itsesi pois järvestä, Traverse City on vain 20 minuutin päässä paljon tekemistä. Voit nauttia kansallisesta kirsikkafestivaalista, Traverse City -festivaalista, Vanhan Mission-niemimaan viinitiloista, Leelanau-viinitiloista, kasinoista, palkittuista ravintoloista ja ainutlaatuisista keskustan ostosmahdollisuuksista. Alue tunnetaan mestaruustason golfkentistä, TART-pyöräilyreiteistä ja laajoista retkeilyreiteistä. Tässä Pohjois-Michiganin osassa asuu Nukkuva karhu dyynien kansallinen järvenranta, jonka ABC: n Good Morning America on myöntänyt “Kaunein paikka Amerikkaan”. GG: ltä voit nauttia päiväretkistä dyynille ja muille hauskoille kohteille pitkin Michiganin kuuluisaa M-22 -maisema-asemaa tai käydä Interlochenin taiteen keskuksessa, jossa he isännöivät kansallisesti tunnettuja taiteilijoita kesäkonserttien aikana. Cherry Capitalin lentokenttä on vain 20 minuutin päässä. Traverse city lakeside getaway

Beautiful lakeside property. We rented the pontoon and had so much fun on the lake. Proximity to Traverse city was perfect. Cottage is neat and comfortable and hosts responded quickly to any questions or concerns.

Jan and Jim were absolutely excellent hosts. Their communication was flawless from start to finish, and the cabin couldn’t have been cleaner. It was spotless and incredibly well maintained. We truly couldn’t be more pleased with our stay.The location on Spider Lake was ideal. We loved that it allowed for both fishing hours and full wake hours. It was perfect for our family, early morning and evening fishing trips were peaceful and productive, and the afternoons were great for cruising around.We also rented their pontoon, which although older, was in fantastic shape and extremely clean. It suited our needs perfectly and added so much to our experience.Thank you Jan and Jim for helping us create such wonderful family memories. We can’t wait to come back. See you again on our next trip!

Quiet Getaway

Great location

The cottage was even more charming in person than in photos. It was a great home base to explore the Traverse City area and the lake was perfect for swimming and relaxing on the dock. Hosts were quick to reply when we had questions. It was a great week!

Beautiful lake cottage

We had a great week on the lake. The location was nice and quiet with a beautiful view. We rented the pontoon boat for the week and it was great to be able to use at our convenience. The owners were very accommodating. .

Lovely place

Absolutely fabulous views. Very clean. All the necessities. I would recommend bringing your own pillow and bath towels- Walmart does deliver though! :-) fantastic place would love to come again.

Everything was perfect. Cottage had anything you might need. I loved the vintage feel. . Nice Sandy beach. And great chairs 😊 A fun Lake to explore. Really wonderful vacation Wonderful breezes in all the bedrooms.

Nice getaway

Nice stay. Love the window seat in the largest bedroom. All bedrooms and bathroom are on the top floor, while the kitchen/living room are on the bottom floor. Would appreciate if they had bath towels but the owners very clearly say in the listing that they do not supply them, so it wasn’t a surprise. We especially appreciated the fire pit right on the beach. Beds were comfortable, which to me is essential.

Most relaxing vacation ever

First time visit to Northern MI. So relaxing. The cottage was perfect for the 4 of us. The dock was my favorite place to sun. The lake is very clean & offers plenty to do to keep 2 teens busy. Cozy Clean Cottage on Spider Lake

Jim & Jan were excellent to work with. In total we had 5 people that stayed comfortably, The boat they provided was good sized and with the outboard and trolling motor we were able to fish the entire lake over our stay. We also boated to the island and enjoyed the sandbar on one of the hotter days. This was our first time booking a stay through VRBO and it went great!

Cute Cabin on the Lake

We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone in the family had something to do either on the lake or the cabin. Owners were wonderful to work with. They replied immediately for anything we needed. Cabin has everything you need as lot of thought has been put by owners. Neighbors are great to talk to as well. Overall a great experience. Thanks for sharing the cabin!

Love it

Awesome cottage, feels like home. The owners are great, nice little beach, good location on the lake, super clean, fire pits, grills (gas and charcoal), chill neighbors, kayaks, awesome personal touches throughout that show the owners care, and so on. The Blue Fin is a fine vessel. Pretty much guaranteed you’ll dig this little joint on the world famous Spider Crick.

"Girls''' Trip

Four "girls", who have been friends for over 45 years, got together at this property that had great views of the lake from the living and all of the bedroom areas. The pics do not do justice for this charming property with lots of water vehicle options and Jan, the property owner, got back immediately with any questions we had. We had a great time!

Superb!

Gac’s Getaway is so charmingly decorated, spotlessly clean, and RIGHT ON THE WATER. We enjoyed our stay immensely..every room felt warm and welcoming, all with views of Spider Lake. I will say that the couches left a bit to be desired, but the comfort of the window seat in the master bedroom all but made up for it. The screened in porch came in handy on the chilly mornings to enjoy coffee while still taking in the beautiful lake setting. All in all, wonderful house, close to downtown Traverse City, and gorgeous lake. You can’t go wrong!

Slice of Heaven

Communication from the beginning was excellent. I'm big on cleanliness and upon arrival I noticed that right away and all the little touches. Everything was so easy and convenient. We loved that every room had a lake view and that we could walk right out to the lake. Jan and Jim were very helpful and the neighbors were great too. Central to see many fun activities we already have plans for next year. Would definitely recommend!

Great beach and location

This was very clean and had a perfect location. Close to downtown TC but quaint on Spider lake. One of the few locations on Spider Lake with a great beach for the kids. My only complaints is the mattress in the Queen and full rooms. They’re old spring mattresses and are VERY uncomfortable. They really should be updated for the cost. Nothing was provided as far as dish soap, paper towel, etc so we had to shop for that stuff. Any VRBO I’ve stayed at have provided those things.

Right on the lake

We had a good trip here. We were looking for a place to shelter-in-place that wasn't our home. This property is about 20 minutes outside of downtown Traverse City and easy enough to get to. The property itself is very well appointed and maintained. It's clear that Jan and Jim take pride in their rental and are readily available to answer questions, offer help, etc. In addition to the property we also rented their pontoon boat although it's not necessary because they offer a small fishing boat, 2 kayaks, and a paddle boat with the property. There is a small beach and while the neighbors are close they are respectful and friendly. Inside the house there was basically everything you could think of both in terms of needs and entertainment. We enjoyed our stay.

Great family getaway.

This place was exactly as described and more. Very fun for the whole family. We loved the lake and nearby park. It was a great place to unwind and make lasting memories. Traverse city and Lake Michigan is also nearby for fun day trips.

Amazing Cottage

Love Gac’s Getaway and we will definitely be back. The tubs to float on in the lake are amazing and the cottage is decorated perfectly. It’s a wondeful get away spot in TC. Jan & Jim were easily reachable and quick to help.

Here’s our story…
Jim and I met in 1986 at Wonderland Mall in Livonia, Michigan, married in 1990 and moved to Traverse City in 1994. (Best decision EVER!) We both grew up in subdivisions and that was not what we wanted when we moved to the area, so we found a house on 10 acres and love it. We met some friends that introduced us to boating. We've been to many beautiful lakes, but we fell in love with Spider Lake.
Jim grew up going to cottages with his family all over Michigan. I always went up to Cheboygan to Eddies Cottages. We both have fond memories of going “Up North” to vacation. When I was young I thought “Up North” was the pin pointed destination, not Cheboygan. Now I think of “Up North” as anything north of the Zilwaukee Bridge!
It has been a dream of ours to own a cottage. Jim and I love the idea of families coming up and adding stories and memories to their lives history. We have looked 13 years and found the perfect cottage for us. With a lot of hard work and sweat, we think it's perfect for us and we hope it's perfect for you too.

Our cottage is just steps from the beach and the largest part of Spider Lake. We face South, so it's always sunny. The beach is sandy and you have to walk out into the water before it gets deep. The water is generally calm in this area of the lake and this body of water warms up quickly. Grab your fishing pole and you can cast right off the dock. In the evenings, you can star gaze and have a bonfire.
