Cute, Private & Clean Cabin Near Ski Mountains

Family of 5 stayed in this great cabin. 5 mins to Bear Mountain and close to the Village & Snow Summit Mtn. Yes only 1 bathroom (newly upgraded) but it worked out fine for us. The cabin is very private and cozy. Pet & kids friendly. We enjoyed the nightly jacuzzi overlooking the ski mountains. The cabin had mostly everything we needed in the kitchen to cook, extra blankets in the bedrooms, lots of towels, washer/dryer, and board games. The registration, check-in & check-out was professional & easy. We would definitely stay in the cabin again.

Great place to stay in Big Bear!

Milo Cabin was a great spot! The cabin was easy to find and plenty of room to park. It was very clean and comfortable inside. The kitchen was well stocked so we had no problems cooking. Great views off of the deck. The lower fenced area was great for the dogs. The only thing that was a bit odd was the master bedroom upstairs and the only bathroom downstairs. But it really wasn’t a problem for us. Mike was very responsive so communication was a breeze. We would stay at Milo Cabin again!

Perfect for a getaway

My husband and I stayed here for July 4 and had a wonderful time. Perfectly located minutes away from the Summit and Village. Quiet, peaceful, and had beautiful views of the mountains! We watched the fireworks from the hot tub and could see them perfectly! Cabin had everything we needed cooking wise and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. I would stay here again!

Awesome Views!

We had a great experience staying at Milo Bear Cabin! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a weekend trip to Big Bear. We chose this cabin because of the outdoor spa and rustic interior -- not at all like a hotel room. We were surprised at how amazing the views are from the spa! The cabin was super clean and cozy. We plan to come back for a ski vacation with our children this coming winter!

Cosy cabin

I probably shouldn't give this five stars as then everyone will want to book and it's best keeping gems like this a secret! Lovely cosy little cabin in a good, quiet location close to the slopes. The deck and hot tub were excellent and it was great having the outside areas dog-proofed. Mike was a perfect owner to deal with. We will definitely book again.

Perfect location

This cabin is perfect all around. The location is close to everything. It is well stocked with all that you need. The beds were extremely comfortable, there were plenty of towels, and the kitchen was well stocked with all the gadgets you need to make delicious meals. The TV had great channels and the jacuzzi was in the perfect spot to watch the sunset while looking at the ski resorts. If you are looking for a place to stay in Big Bear, look no further this place is perfect.

Great place, very close to everything!

We had a great time here. Very nice cabin, very clean. This place was 5 minutes away from the lake and Big Bear Village.

Clean. Quiet. Relaxing

Had a great 3 day stay. Very clean and quiet cabin. Location was close to all stores, restaurants, and the lake. Neighborhood is quiet and well kept. Cabin had all the amenities with a nice little hot tub on the deck. Cozy living room with flat screen + Netflix and roku. One bedroom downstairs off the kitchen. One bath downstairs. 2 bedrooms upstairs. Great breeze at nite. Very happy with our stay. No issues what so ever.

Beautiful property with outstanding service!

Milo Bear Cabin was amazing. My wife, daughter, dog and I spent the weekend there and hung out in the hot tub and enjoyed the spectacular views of the mountainside. There are tons of great restaurants near by as well being fully equipped to cook or BBQ. I would strongly recommend the Milo Bear Cabin to anyone looking to get away and enjoy the outdoors.

Great Cabin - perfect for a relaxing getaway

Had a great time getting away for a few days with the family. The cabin was very clean and location was great. Mike was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely reccomend his cabin to others.

Cozy getaway

We loved Milo Bear Cabin! The location was great and the cabin made you feel right at home. The jacuzzi was such a plus! Our dog also loved exploring the fenced in deck. We will definitely be planning another trip soon!

Awesome well appointed comfy cabin!

Our family (2 kids and our lab) had a wonderful time at Milo Bear Cabin. Mike was super responsive and a breeze to work with. The kitchen was stocked better than our own kitchen, Mike has pretty much thought of everything you could possibly need. The cabin does not have a "pet" smell like some pet rentals do. Everything was clean, the furniture was super comfortable, the towels were soft clean and fluffy! We enjoyed the hot tub with the snow surrounding us. Tons and tons of board games and free netflix were great for the kids and the snowy cold nights. The heater works awesome. Great bathroom and water pressure. Great location, great views! We will for sure be back!!!

Great Location and Dog Friendly Cabin

The cabin is in a great location. We stayed during a major snow storm so we spent most of our time in the cabin. The owner was very responsive.

Perfect cabin for our weekend trip to the snow

The cabin was in great shape when we arrived and it had everything we needed. It was cozy and comfortable - perfect for us and our two kids who had a great time enjoying the snow on the deck and in the yard. Thanks so much!

Absolutely impressed!!! Loved loved loved this cabin! We will be back!!!

We booked this cabin for the first time and I'll admit I was nervous about the unknown and being very OCD made it even worse lol. When we arrived I couldn't believe how perfect it was! From the fun and cozy decor, super comfy bed (it was just my husband and I), fully stocked kitchen, flat screen tv, great living room,jacuzzi, beautiful views and so on. We also brought our dog Milo and I'll admit, I have stayed in places that take dogs before and have been disappointed. There wasn't a dog hair, piece of dust or cob web in the place! Whoever cleans this cabin is wonderful! The deck is totally locked and the lower part of the yard perfect for our dog to run around while we sat and sipped our coffee in the morning. The neighborhood is in a very nice area of Big Bear close to everything and very very quiet. The owner answered all our questions fast and even gave us heads up of traffic going down the mountain as we left!! We already are planning our next trip(with the kids)! Thanks Mike for everything!

OMG It's Perfect!

We've stayed at many different locations while visiting Big Bear and upon Arrival at Milo Cabin, we made an immediate decision.......This is going to be our go to cabin for future Big Bear Trips! It's a charming cozy cabin with everything you need for a fun and fabulous stay! We stayed 3 Nights and 4 days! Inside it's like Abercrombie and Fitch crossed with the Country setting of Big Bear. It's clean, and well maintained inside and out. Outside is a tranquilizer, seriously, it's like OMG, I'm suddenly so calm. We had so many things to do on our agenda, but we made sure we spent time on the lovely deck at Milo Cabin. On our last night we picked up Pizza from Saucey Mama's (located in The Village) Awesome Pizza........and indulged in a Fabulous Sunset, paired with a glass of Wine and Lemonade for our teenager, and this made for the perfect night in! During our stay, we also enjoyed hiking Cougar Crest Trail connecting to the PCT, Pacific Crest Trail, total hike distance 6.7 miles, but could have gone way further into the PCT had time permitted. We also headed over to the Authentic Ocktoberfest and enjoyed German food, music and dancing. My husband enjoyed cycling to the ONYX Summit and back, while I enjoyed an 8 station outdoor workout facility at the Sugarloaf Skatepark where our teenager son enjoyed riding his scooter. Now, this is not an actual facility, it's part of the park, but hey, you work with what you've got, right? And it was outdoors and free! We also hit up Shopping at The Village, a must for anyone visiting Big Bear. Dinner at 572 Social was another fun evening out. If you want great food......go there, we highly recommend the Bruschetta and Caprese......for starters! For dinner, Miso Glazed Salmon, or Ahi Tuna Steak....wooo whoooo! When not out eating, shopping or relaxing at the cabin, we ran along the Big Bear Lake Trail with amazing views of the lake and forest on a mostly paved trail intertwining with dirt trail makes this 5 mile out and back run/hike/bike/walk perfect! While not out and about in Big Bear, you can hang out at the cabin playing one of the many games, we went with "Connect 4" while eating the freshly baked Chocolate Chip Cookies we made at Milo Cabin. Sounds awesome, doesn't it? It was! We look forward to our next Big Bear adventure and stay at Milo Cabin. Oh, and one more thing, the owner Mike is excellent at managing his cabin. Thanks for everything!

I always dreamed of a get away cabin, a place I can go and write and relax. After saving my money for a long time and searching for over a year- I finally found the perfect place, Milo Bear Cabin in Lower Moonridge. I love this area as it's not houses on top of each other with chain link fences. This is much more quiet and a good mixture of full and part time residents. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
