Tunnet olosi rentoutuneeksi ja kotona heti kun kävelet Ferry Walk Housen yksityisen sisäänkäynnin läpi. Kävele kesällä kukilla täytetyn puutarhan terassilla ja mene ranskalaisten ovien läpi. Sisältä löydät tilavan ja valoisan 750 sf: n avoimen oleskelutilan.

Lautta Walk House on varustettu korkeatasoisesti, ja se on suunniteltu ennakoimaan tarpeitasi tarjoamalla kaikki mitä haluat ehkä mukavan loman vuoksi. Kylpyhuoneen mukavuudet, hiustenkuivaaja, kylpytakit ja rantapyyhkeet toimitetaan vakiona.

Siellä on ruokailutilat sisällä ja ulkopuolella, olohuone, jossa mukava L-muotoinen sohva, kaksi nojatuolia ja takka, 50 tuuman televisio, jossa on Netflix ja TSN, ja työpöytä kannettaville tietokoneille.

Täysikokoinen pesukone ja kuivausrumpu ovat sviitissä, ja silitysrauta ja -lauta toimitetaan. Täysin varustetussa keittiössä on runsaasti tiskitilaa ja kaikki mitä tarvitset, aina mittauslusikoihin !! Perusteet, kuten tee, kahvi, mausteet ovat vakiona, kuten tinakalvo, paperituotteet jne.

Kylpyhuoneessa on täysikokoinen kylpyamme suihkulla ja voit nauttia pörröisistä pyyhkeistä, froteepyyhkeistä ja kylpytuotteista.

Tämä on yhden makuuhuoneen sviitti, jonka vieressä on toinen makuuhuone. Kaikilla makuuhuoneilla on yhteinen seinä ja kun sisäovi on auki makuuhuoneiden välissä, vierailla on pääsy talon koko pohjakerrokseen. Molemmissa makuuhuoneissa on korkealaatuiset patjat.

Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on televisio, jossa on Netflix, ja täysikokoinen työpöytä kannettavaan tietokoneeseen tai työtilaan. Tässä huoneessa on iso ikkuna, josta on näkymät rauhalliselle englantilaiseen puutarhaan. Toinen makuuhuone on käytettävissä, kun vieraita on enemmän kuin kaksi, tai lisämaksusta, jos kaksi vierasta vaativat erilliset makuuhuoneet.

Kesällä voit avata ranskalaiset ovet ja rentoutua yksityisellä puutarhan patiolla. Kaasu BBQ tarjotaan.

Nauti Netflix-elokuvasta 50 tuuman taulutelevisiossa tai käytä nopeaa Internetiä WIFI: n kanssa. Löydät paljon luettavia kirjoja sekä erilaisia lautapelejä ja -kortteja. Pienille lapsille on myös kirjoja ja leluja.

Kun sänkysi soittaa, voit liukua tuoreiden pehmeiden lakanoiden välillä, linjakuivattu kesällä ja pitääksesi raikasta ilmaa.

Lautta Walk House on ekologinen. Kierrätystilat tarjotaan. Käytetään vain luonnonmukaisia orgaanisia puhdistusaineita.

Horseshoe Bay is delightful and gorgeous! This house is close to everything and just steps from the ferry. The Sea safari was spectacular, saw humpback whales! Don’t miss Bowen Island great food at Doc Morgans. A great place to stay!!!

A home from home, a very comfortable property matched by a great host. Perfect location to explore the islands and park walks, downtown easily reachable with regular bus services-the scenic or express. Definitely a great location to stay if visiting Vancouver.

Wonderful place to stay!

Our family of 3 enjoyed the comfortable and well appointed accommodation. The location is perfect for quick walks to the coffee shops, stores and restaurants. Nice trails around town to walk the dog too. Valerie is a wonderful host and was very quick to respond to any question or request we had. We look forward to staying again.

Great place to stay in Horseshoe Bay!

Very happy with our stay, the place was just as nice as it appears in the pictures, Valerie was fabulous, going out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could ask for, and we loved that we could do our laundry in the suite, I would highly recommend this property.

Gateway to Horseshoe Heaven

We stayed for 9 days in this wonderful home in idyllic Horseshoe Bay. Everything about the home and Valerie’s very personal touch and hospitality is top notch. The location is convenient for restaurants, Nanaimo ferry trips, Squamish, and nearby Whytcliffe Park. It was warm for a few days, but having AC at the home is a much appreciated luxury. West Vancouver and Vancouver are worth the short car treks. Would highly recommend Ferry Walk House.

We had such a great time in this delightful property we were so lucky to find. Located and nestled in horseshoe bay west Vancouver with walking distance to shops and restaurants. Picturesque community with BC ferries just next door. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful host, great base location to explorer Vancouver and Whistler

Valerie is a wonderful host, she will make you feel like home and more! My family of 3 loved staying here. It was a great base to take tours of Vancouver, and to explorer everything between Horseshoe Bay and Whistler - that path has a lot to offer! Right next to ferry to Vancouver Island - do not miss that! We hope to come back one day and stay with Valerie again.

Everything you need at your fingertips

I love the fact, that the hiking trails were so close, the ferry and ocean also, right there.. A short drive to a great grocery store. or more restaurant options.. The unit was outfitted with absolutely everything a person could need.

Comfortable and best location

We were totally satisfied with our stay at Ferry Walk House. It's updated, has air conditioning, comfortable, and has all the necessities and includes a private outdoor patio garden area. Valerie is friendly and very responsive to any questions. The location is beautiful and convenient! The ferry is right there, buses can take you into the city, and shops, stores, and restaurants are all within walking distance. We highly recommend staying here when visiting Vancouver.

Excellent for touring Vancouver area

Very beautiful area with great restaurants, outstanding scenery and well located to visit area sites with car like Whistler, Squamish, and Vancouver area. 2 minute walk to the ferries to visit other locations. The unit is clean, well laid out and perfect for 4 with the additional bedroom. Very quite area and Valerie is very welcoming. Also very pet friendly. Thank you Valerie, you have a great place and hope to see you again. Highly recommend!

Perfect Home-away-from-home

The attention to detail that host Valerie gives is topnotch. She is so kind and friendly. The apartment is so cosy and the bed is so comfy, and has a gorgeous view of Horseshoe Bay only a 5 minute walk away. Easy to get on ferries and highways. Horseshoe Bay is small and quiet with excellent restaurants and unique stores, especially the Spirit Gallery. We'd highly recommend this spot. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic Option

A friend and I stayed at the Ferry House for 8 days in late June and early July. It was exactly as depicted in the listing and Valerie' was a delightful host. She was not at all intrusive, but checked in periodically to see if we needed anything, and was very responsive when we did have a question. The proximity to multiple ferries ( literally 5 minute walk) was a great asset, allowing exploration of areas that were not reachable by car. Vancouver is 20 minutes away, and staying in Horseshoe Bay enabled us to avoid the traffic jams of the city as well as enjoy the quaint seaside village. The private lush garden of Ferry House was one of my most favorite things, allowing us to sit outside most nights with daylight to almost 10. This was our first visit to the area and Ferry House was 5 stars all around. We would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect

Ferry Walk House is the perfect place for a restful, beautiful vacation in B.C. The bus system provides easy access to every thing great. There is a convenient parking space but a car was not needed and made for a more leisurely paced week. Great wi-fi for staying in touch. Bus to Dunderave (sp), walk along the sea to Amble Side for coffee and scone at Savory Island and Pie. Watch for the eagles along the shore. Horse Shoe Bay is breathtaking. H Snyder

Thank you Valerie for providing my 7 month old son, our energetic dog, my sister and I such a wonderful and welcoming stay. We enjoyed the lovely patio very much. It was helpful for me to not have to worry about packing all the baby items as you had everything we needed to make it feel like home. My son was delighted with the exersaucer! I thoroughly enjoyed morning walks to Flour Bakery where I discovered the most delicious chocolate croissants. I hope we will be able to return very soon for another relaxing visit.

Wonderful apartment, location and host

My wife and I stayed at the Ferry Walk House to kick off an 18 day vacation to British Columbia and Washington State. It was the perfect place to start a wonderful vacation. The apartment is clean and spacious with everything in working order and thoughtfully laid out to make for a pleasant stay . The garden behind the apartment is the perfect place to relax and we spent several hours there enjoying each other's company, the weather and some down time. The apartment location conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and a park. We enjoyed visiting with and talking to our host Valerie. She is absolutely charming and had several great suggestions about things to do, where to shop, etc.

Cozy, clean apt with an amazing host!

We have stayed in many homeaways all over the world and Valerie was one of the most gracious hosts we have ever experienced! The apt is immaculate and goes above and beyond the normal "basics" that you need. It's a great home base to explore all Vancouver has to offer and such a great location - walkable to restaurants, parks, the ferry and more. We comfortably stayed with our 2.5 year old and 5 month old. Valerie had set up the pack and play and booster chair before we arrived and had toys and books that our toddler loved while we were there. The outdoor space/garden is beautiful and relaxing and Valerie was always a text away. We hope to return one day and explore more, sans smoke! Thank you so much Valerie!

Sure bet in Horseshoe Bay

We (2 adults, 3 kids) stayed at the Valerie's Ferry Walk House for a very pleasant week. Valerie was very responsive pre-booking and always available to help during the stay. What you see in the (very nice) pictures is what you get. Everything is new. The unit has a full size washing machine, full size dryer, full size dishwasher (portable) and even an Apple TV with Netflix. Valerie set up the second bedroom with an additional single air-bed for all kids to use. There is a TV there with its own cable box. Parents will get the idea... :) The Horseshoe Bay village is a very short walk away. Many places to eat, a playground and just fun to walk and watch the ferries come in. Whytecliff Park is a very short drive away and highly recommended. If you are considering a place to stay in Horseshoe Bay - choose Valerie's - it's a sure bet!

Great stay at The Ferry Walk House!

My husband and I stayed at the Ferry Walk House July 18-22. When we arrived Valerie met us with a big bowl of fresh fruit, which was awesome. The house was super clean and a perfect set up for us. We made our own breakfast every morning and pack up our lunches for our long hikes we did. We drove just a little North and went hiking to the top of Sea to Sky where we took the gondola ride back down the mountain. It was an amazing hike, but for advanced hikers. They do not advise hiking back down, which was just perfect because it took over 4 hours to hike up. We spent the day in Vancouver city, which was amazing., We also went to the park in Horse Shoe Bay, a 4 minute drive or a 1/2 hour walk to the park to watch the beautiful sunset. We took along a bottle of wine, blanket and some snacks. We saw some dolphins and a sea lion along with the sunset. We explored Horse Shoe Bay and a few other close by cities. Great part of our vacation out West! Absolutely beautiful views of the mountains and sea! Would highly recommend Ferry Walk House. Valerie is wonderful! Thank you again!

Don't look any further - this is the place you want!

We stayed at Ferry Walk House in late June/early July and it was a great week! Valerie was such an attentive host, she even came to the rescue when our rental car wouldn't start. Ferry Walk House was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed - including a washer/dryer and all the kitchen things you might require! Nice patio, too. Horseshoe Bay is absolutely lovely. Everything is less than 5 minutes away (walking) - coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacy and a store for quick necessities. The drive into Vancouver can vary a bit, depending on the time of day you go, but you can make it to the far reaches of Vancouver in 30-40 minutes. Stanley Park is a mere 20 minutes away - pending traffic on the bridge. We explored Stanley Park, Science World (a MUST if you have kids - it is worth every penny and then some!), Granville Island (park near Science World and take the AquaBus - it's so tiny and fantastic), and some other parts of the city. However, we actually found the best adventures away from the city. Whale Watching - We booked with Seabreeze Adventures (in Steveston - cute town), but all the tours talk to eachother as to where the whales are, so just go with whichever is most convenient for you. Whistler - The mountain & the drive there is amazing. Plan a stop at Shannon Falls. The ferry - across the street from Ferry Walk House! Take it to Nanaimo, which is very charming. Hello – I am a grandmother, originally from the UK and still retain the accent and British sense of humour!

I live on the main floor above the suite. While I completely respect the privacy of my guests, I am always happy to answer questions or help with directions.

Having met many people from around the world during my travels and while working in the airline and travel industry, I really enjoy continuing to meet new people without actually leaving home.

If you have children or pets, the friendly hospitality at Ferry Walk House is specifically designed to offer services that will make everyone’s stay comfortable and enjoyable. I can provide any child-related equipment you need. If I don't have it, I can arrange for rental. For your furry family member, there is a fully-fenced garden.

I warmly invite you to come to stay at Ferry Walk House and enjoy life in Horseshoe Bay village.

Horseshoe Bay is a unique part of West Vancouver. There is a village atmosphere and shop owners are friendly and outgoing. The mountain and sea views from the village are forever changing and unfailingly spectacular. I love where I live and when you get here, you will see why!

You will enjoy all the comforts of a home away from home and plenty of brochures to give you ideas about what to see and where to go. Before your arrival I will be sending you a link to my "Welcome Book" with directions, parking information and everything you need to know about your accommodation and the local area. You will find a copy of this book in the suite.

Bus travel is easy. The bus stop is 2 minutes away from the house, opposite the ferry terminal, and there is an express bus service into Vancouver every 20 minutes. Travel to the city takes 30 minutes and fares can be paid by cash or credit card.

You can hop on a ferry to Bowen Island (20 minutes), or to the Sunshine Coast (45 minutes), or Vancouver Island (90 minutes).

Whistler Mountain (Winter Olympics 2010) is a 75 minute drive along one of the most scenic highways in the world. Along the way, you can visit Squamish, boasting a gondola with incredible views of the surrounding area.

You can also rent a boat or take the guided "Sea Safari" tour from Sewell's Marina - 3 minutes walk from the house. You can walk to a coastal park and beach, or visit Lighthouse Park with trails running through the awe inspiring forest. For golfers, Gleneagles golf course is 5 minutes away. The opportunities and activities are endless!
