ÄskettĂ€in ostettu (helmikuu-2014), jossa on hyvĂ€laatuisia huonekaluja ja sisustus. Huonekalut ja sisustus valittiin mukavasti, kun vieraamme olivat tĂ€rkein prioriteetti. Kun kĂ€velet oven lĂ€pi, huomaat etĂ€isyyden upean meren. Sitten huomiota kiinnitetÀÀn hĂ€mmĂ€styttĂ€vÀÀn sisustukseen koko huoneistoissa, mukaan lukien kehystetty James Audubon -juliste; huomiota pienimpiin yksityiskohtiin on varmistaa asiakkaiden mukavuus.

Great location just a short walk to the beach. Condo had access to two pools, a gym, a hot tub. Condo was clean, AC worked wonderfully, and had plenty of room for our family of 4. We loved our time at Dauphin Island, and the condo's location and amenities made it that much better.

Perfect location and perfect for a small family!

Best location on the island and very close to the beach. The pools were a bonus for our children. The kitchen was perfect for cooking our own meals, and the electric grills were a fun challenge one night. Walking distance to a few restaurants and ice cream as well. Our entire stay was wonderful, and the host is super responsive and helpful. I would recommend this place to everyone looking to stay on the island. We would love to come back.

What more could you need!

Sandy's condo was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. I have never stayed at a place that was so well stocked. We're from NC and took a gamble on visiting a beach we've never been to, and boy did it pay off. Thank you Sandy for great communication and sharing your condo with us.

Everything You Need for a Low-Key, Relaxed Vacay

This rental is quite possibly the nicest rental our family has ever used. We traveled with 4 adults and 3 kids under the age of 6, and this place was so comfortable and accommodating. The place comes with a totally stocked kitchen, more bath towels than you could ever use, nice-comfy bedding, and a view to boot. I highly recommend staying here. The owner, Sandy, is wonderful and informative on top of it all. We loved our stay!

Relaxing Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!! It truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was well stocked including spices. The beds were actually comfortable! There were beach towels, chairs, sand toys and coolers for the beach. Sandy was amazing to work with and very easy to communicate with. Our family will definitely be back!!

Great condo and very thoughtful owner!

We stayed six nights at this condo and enjoyed every minute of it! The view was beautiful, the island fun to explore and we were pleasantly surprised at the eatery options on such a small island. The owner very generously has "loaned" the occupants items needed for a great stay: beach chairs, toys for the children (although we didn't have any with us), laundry detergent, dish soap, etc. It's a beautful condo and priced much better than ones we saw in the Florida Panhandle. Thanks to the owner!

This property is exceptional. Everything was top-notch including the bedding. It was spotless and I'm the type of person who brings a vacuum with me. Sandy communicated very well and appropriately. We had no problems. Would absolutely rent this condo again!

Every bit amazing!

This condo is not only in a beautiful location, it’s beautiful on the inside. It’s very well decorated, and fully furnished. It comes with all of the amenities that my own home would have, which made packing for 5 SO EASY!! Sandy and Jerry have thought of everything and spared no expense! End of School Celebration!

"Second Wind" was the perfect spot for a long weekend with the 3 grandchildren to celebrate the end of a successful school year. The condo was absolutely perfect, very spacious, well-appointed, and most of all -- well-equipped with everything you could imagine that you'd need. The owner was very accommodating, communicating with us well in advance of our reservation and even called the day of our check-in to be sure we knew how to get in touch with them in case we needed anything. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed our stay immensely. We hope to come back to catch our "Second Wind" again soon! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property.

An Amazing Vacation

We had an incredible vacation at Sandy’s condo. It had everything we needed. The location was perfect. We used our car very little and could walk almost everywhere we needed (shopping, good, ice cream). Sandy was always available for us when needed. She actually called me a few weeks before the trip to answer any questions we may have. That helped ease my mind tremendously. I’ve stayed in this condo building a couple other times before and this was my first time in Sandy’s condo. My family and I plan to continue staying here from here on out. She’s a wonderful host and that speaks volumes. I look forward to our next trip!

Perfect

This is our second time staying here. My family and I absolutely love this condo. We call it our vacation home. I have a five year old and teenagers. They were all perfectly entertained. The condo has everything you’ll need and Sandy is also wonderful. She’s part of the reason we keep on coming back. She’s organized and attentive. She responds right away to any requests you have and calls you weeks in advance to set up details and ask questions. I even brought my dad with me this year and she bought an air mattress for him since the pull out couch can’t be used. I’m so thankful for Sandy, this condo, the resort itself and Dauphin Island. I can’t wait to come back again and again. My home away from home. ❀

Relaxing

We had a wonderful time on Dauphin Island. Sandy’s place was fantastic! We spent most of our time on the comfy balcony or on the beach! Of note, the beds are very soft which most people like. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Well Equipped Condo

The condo was great for our family of five. Location is right on the beach and close to everything on the island, either a quick walk or a quick drive. Communication with Sandy was great. The condo had everything we needed, there wasn’t one thing we wished the condo had. If we return to Dauphin Island we will for sure stay at this condo! The complex itself was great for our family as well!

Spring Break 2024

We needed this vacation so much and Sandy's place did not disappoint! The condo was well-stocked from dishes to condiments/spices, beds were super comfortable and the view from the balcony was spectacular. While it was a touch windy and chilly, we did enjoy the beautiful beach, bike rentals from Joey at Salty Dog rentals, the ferry ride to Fort Morgan and goodies from Lighthouse Bakery. Our son loved the indoor pool! A very relaxing and lovely break. We hope to come back!

As we were growing up, our parents worked very hard, and could often be heard saying, 'I'll be fine if I can just sit for a minute and catch my second wind!' So the name of our home on Dauphin Island is called 'Second Wind', where we look forward to spending time with our children & grandchildren and those we love, just relaxing, laughing, enjoying the island, the beauty of the gulf, making memories as we catch our 'Second Wind'!

We loved the ocean view from the large balcony, and we so enjoy the sunsets here during all seasons! The huge kitchen and spacious living areas work well for our family. And, Dauphin Island is an easy drive from our home in Mississippi, as well as very drivable for our children in Nashville & South Georgia.
