What We Like to Do in Stowe:
Stowe is one of the most special places in New England, and weâre lucky to have it as our second home. When weâre in Stowe, we love getting out and exploring all the amazing outdoor activities. Of course, skiing at Stowe Mountain Resort is always top of mind in the winter months, with the slopes offering something for every level of skier. But thereâs so much more to do throughout the year!
In the warmer months, we enjoy biking along the Stowe Recreation Path, which runs right next to Stonybrook Resort. Itâs an easy and scenic ride into downtown Stowe, where we can explore the local shops and grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants.
For a more relaxed option, we love to walk from our condo to Idletyme Brewery or Piecasso. Both are just a short walk away and offer great outdoor patios, perfect for enjoying a meal and drinks in the fresh air.
We also love taking the time to explore the Von Trapp Lodge and enjoy their beautiful grounds and attending their summer concerts.
We never miss an opportunity to get outdoors, whether it's hiking up one of the nearby trails, golfing at the Stowe Country Club, or ice skating at Stowe Mountain Resort in the winter. And after a day of adventure, there's nothing better than returning to the condo to relax by the fire or enjoy the spectacular view from the deck. Stowe is truly a place where we can reconnect with nature, friends, and family, and weâre thrilled to share that with our guests.

Itâs the quintessential Norman Rockwell town, brimming with character and charm like no other place in New England. One of the things we loved most about Stowe was its individualityâevery shop, restaurant, and hotel is unique to the area, with no franchises in sight.
When we began exploring properties in Stowe, Stonybrook Resort immediately stood out. The resort's incredible amenitiesâpools, tennis courts, a sauna, cross-country ski trails, and moreâwere unmatched. Its perfect location between the Stowe ski mountain and Stowe Village sealed the deal.
