winter getaway

This place was very clean and beautiful inside. It located in a great area. Friendly people and great pool. This was much better than any hotel stays. My only regret was our stay was too short. I would definitely rent here again.

Absolutely perfect!

It was comfortable from the start. This place is exactly like it's shown and described. Very clean, the bed is so comfortable, the kitchen has everything needed to make meals. The location is perfectly located with access to hiking, shopping, dining, golfing and more. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Scottsdale area or any nearby city, even if you need to visit down town Phoenix.

Perfect for our plans

The complex is huge. We had some difficulty finding the building and parking place. A resident helped us and from then on, we loved our location. Golf at Orange Tree nearby and 20 minutes to Scottsdale Stadium for baseball. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods 5 minutes away. Perfect!

Only a few slight improvements would help an otherwise rcvr;;rmy imoy/

Very neat, clean and well kept property. Other than a few minor adjustments to items furnished, such as there could have been more waste paper baskets in bedroom and other spots, and a central light could be installed as part of the fan in the living room, there is ohnly one thing we would strongly recommend--A basic cable TV should be provided even if that requires a minimal increase in prices to reserve this condo. In general we give this unit a high rating.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Everything was lined out for me, was very clean, quiet and peaceful, close to everything you will ever need, I want to thank the Manager making things very easy she has everything lined out for you and is so very nice, I highly recommend staying here for any event.

Delightful condo & complex

In looking for a spot to call 'home' for a few months while moving back to Phoenix, I found this lovely condo that absolutely fit the bill. Well appointed, stocked and cleaned, it is located in a great complex with a pool and fitness center, and backs onto the Indian Bend wash - perfect for long walks or runs. Great location made it easy to get anywhere in town, and the owners were communicative and responsive.

Quiet Getaway

My wife and I enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the comfortable condo. We liked being close to all the things we were interested in without being right in the middle of Scotsdale.

Great location

Although the pool was not available during our stay, the owner was upfront and honest regarding this prior to booking. The location was perfect for all that we had planned. Very quite complex.

Very well keep condo. A pleasure to stay there.

I assume that the owners also use the unit given its very nice overall appearance. It just has that cared for look. Pretty much anything you need is there. I won't comment on the overall development and area because we have been staying at different units in the complex for 9 years. We wouldn't be coming back if it wasn't great. A comment vs a complaint is that the tv selection is basic and the tv in the bedroom is on the small size. Not a game-breaker for me. Highly recommended.

Less than expected

Prepare to bring your own toilet paper and soaps. Coffee maker is old fashioned Mr Coffee type. Plan ahead to bring ground coffee and filters. Dishwasher door did not shut so stuck handwashing dishes for the entire stay. Two small T fal fry pans for cooking. No garbage disposal. Tiny washer and dryer, cannot use fireplace. Very confusing to find unit. Arrived after dark and only instructions were building and unit number. We wandered around for about 20 minutes and found our unit thanks to another tenant out walking. Once we were inside the unit there was a note telling us our parking space number. Should have given us this information ahead of time. Lots of dogs but otherwise quiet. Great location near grocery stores and shopping.

Almost Perfect

The unit was nice and decently appointed. Kitchen was adequate and furnishings pretty standard. Location was good for us, not exactly close to the 'action' of Scottsdale but where we wanted to be. The problem we encountered, though probably not the owner's fault, was that there wasn't enough TP for the first night. We arrived late in the evening, unpacked and got ready for bed without realizing there wasn't even half a roll of TP in the entire unit. The owner's info stated there may not be enough for our entire stay, which is fine, but less than half a roll is ridiculous. I had to dress and go out to the store and guess what, all the grocery stores within 5 miles all close by 11pm. So I took a 7 mile drive and finally ended up at a Circle K after midnight to buy the TP. Never had anything like this happen to us yet and hopefully never again as it was an unnecessary hassle and easily avoided. Nothing to bother the owners about in the middle of the night but definitely a big letdown. Also, there was not one speck of soap for the dishwasher. We didn't use many dishes but couldn't even run the ones we used. Like I said the problem probably lies with the cleaning crew but if you want to rent this unit you probably better be better prepared than we were.

Clean unit in need of some updates of the property or the listing…

The owner was very responsive and was quick to respond. The property was well looked after as far as the grounds and pool area. The hot tub quit while we were there but was repaired in a day or so. The condo was clean but is in need of some updates. The appliances are dated. The refrigerator had two containers to catch the condensing water in. The dishwasher had to be hip checked to close the door and was VERY LOUD when ran. We did not use the stove. There were a few lights that were burnt out in the unit - one light in the vanity, light over the stove and the light in the walk-in closet. The furniture is old and worn out…. The faux leather cushions were cracked and well worn. The cutlery was old and some of the knives reminded us of hockey sticks and were as sharp as bowling balls…. The towels could use some updating as they too are old and have seen better days…. Not wanting to be too critical but in our opinion a few upgrades are needed so the unit aligns to the listing description. We have rented several VRBO’s over the years and this property is one of the few we have ever left a negative review of. The price of the rental needs to reflect the condition of the appliances and amenities. We thought we were paying for the accommodations described in the listing…. and as of the time this review was written the listing description does not reflect the current state of the unit. We would stay here again but the price needs to be updated to reflect the condition of the contents or the contents need to be updated to reflect the listing.

The property was exactly as advertised. Very clean and accommodating. The owners were very communicative throughout the check-in and check-out process. I would rent this property again without hesitation.

Shopping, medical, golf, tourist traps are all close when you stay at this quiet location. Very nice.

Nice getaway

Great property and location is very convenient. The listing doesn’t specify but FYI coffee maker is drip style - so you can get the coffee you like at the local Fry’s. Angie was easy to communicate with and I had a great visit at Bella Terra.
