Beautiful location, comfortable accommodations
Perfect base for us to explore Rhode Island. Very comfortable. Big kitchen. Beautiful view of the water and boats out the front window. Wifi worked great. Beds were comfortable. Bedrooms are all upstairs and bathroom is downstairs. The owner, Mike, lives next door and was very nice. Check-in super easy – just walk in the front door!

Sweet
We stayed for two weeks in this property. Everything worked great and all the necessary supplies were available. It's a great location for visiting all around that part of RI--half an hour to Newport, Little Compton, Providence. The manager was very responsive and gave us fresh towels halfway through. There is a lot of seating on the back deck. The only thing to watch out for is that there are a lot of coyotes in the area, so you will want to be careful if walking a small dog.

Great little place
Great little place (except for all the mosquitoes in the area!). They're brutal, so come prepared! House itself was spacious and nice. Backyard was not what I expected. It's not really a fenced in backyard, its a fenced in deck with about 2 feet of dirt-ish space between the fence and deck. No room for the dog really, which was one reason I booked. So we were not really out there much for various reasons, not just that. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues (no issues here just want people to know as we travel withmy mother in law who is at times). Tub is VERY high and the wall bar is inconveniently placed near the faucet side so harder to get in. Bathroom on 1st floor and all bedrooms on 2nd floor with a slightly narrow/steep staircase. Shared spaces (living room, kitchen etc.) all very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen has an AC that seemed to make the living room comfortable as well. They provided a LOT of fans throughout the house which was awesome. Some waters were in the fridge for us when we got there, not sure if by owner or last renter, but that was a nice perk to have some cold ones waiting (I put more in for the next person because of that! Haha). Upstairs consists of one small bedroom with a double bed (no AC), one spacious bedroom with a double bed (had AC) and the open loft area with 2 twins (no AC). Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best so I only got to see one sunrise from the bay window but boy was it beautiful! All in all a great little plac

Anniversary Trip
We enjoyed our stay in Portsmouth. A very nice and clean property with a waterview out the front window. We were able to walk up to a local ice cream place as well as Flo’s lobster shack, both which were very good. The owner, Mike provided great detailed information and knowledge of the area and of Newport, which was very helpful in choosing what we wanted to see. We look forward to making another trip up into the area hopefully in the near future.

The house was terrific. It's a beautiful setting on the water. Very comfortable inside, and super super clean. It's a fun area and a pleasant walk to restaurants, the beach, etc. We wish we could have stayed longer. The host provided an incredible wealth of information in advance. Thank you!

Tranquil spot a short distance from historic sites
Mike was a great and communicative host. The big draw is the gorgeous view of the water directly in front of the house. You can sit on the bench and just take it all in. Or even watch it from the comfort of the living room which is also facing the water. Perfect for sunrises! The house was very clean, and had the perfect amount of space for myself and three friends. I didn't use the backyard patio or grill but I may come back sometime and do so! Lots of beautiful places that you can easily walk to. And most of the historic sites and beaches are a short drive away. I personally loved that the charmingly retro Schultzy's Snack Shack is around the corner. Their soft serve is some of the best I've ever had! There were times I wished there was a second bathroom, but that's just because of my own IBS! HA! Overall the house is a find and I'm grateful for the time I got to spend there.

Relaxing getaway
Pretty location and friendly hosts! This cottage is located in a cute, quiet neighborhood. I brought my own kayaks and put in right across the street during high tide. Very relaxing place for a weekend getaway! Has parking for 2 cars and there is lots to see and do within a short drive.

A cozy, peaceful cottage retreat
We were delighted with the cottage. We sipped our morning coffee while looking out the bay window, watching an egret getting his breakfast. In the evening, it was a perfect retreat after spending the day exploring bustling Newport. Michael was very thorough in his communication and provided good restaurant and activity recommendations. Our only regret was not staying longer.

Wonderful and Peaceful
Great property and perfect location. Lots of great restaurants and places to visit right in Portsmouth with Newport, Bristol, and other wonderful, fun-filled areas close by!! Sunrise from the front window is beautiful. I had my small dog with me, and I wish the backyard had more grassy areas for her to enjoy, but we went for lots of walks in the neighborhood and the backyard is still a really neat spot to relax and enjoy. I recommend this property! Thank you!!

Gorgeous view. Great little town and beach walk.
I can't say enough how much we enjoyed the nature and the view and the space in the house and out. The neighborhood and the beach walk and ice cream shop restaurants and proximity to Newport. Our dogs loved it. We loved it. So Clean. Perfect communication. We will def. be back. We had a wonderful time and Wiley and the pack made for some great memories.

House was immaculate. Owner was very helpful and informative and great to deal with. Loved looking at the water out of the bay window. Overall an exceptional experience. Best week of the summer in Portsmouth!
I had a wonderful stay at the house with family and friends. The house is perfect for accommodating numerous people coming and going, with its large kitchen, multiple sleeping areas, and huge, fabulous deck. The beds were comfortable and shower had good water pressure. Mike was lovely to work with, very responsive and welcoming, and provided excellent tips about things to visit locally. I got the best week of the entire summer weather-wise, so enjoyed visiting some of the local beaches and getting in the ocean. Finally, Portsmouth is a great place to bring a dog -- folks are extremely welcoming and friendly, and there are lots of nice dogs around. I'm thrilled with my 5 days in Portsmouth! Thank you, Mike.
