Meidän 2 makuuhuoneen, 2 kylpyhuonetta 1 280 m² huoneisto (yksikkö 405) Village Center rakennuksessa tarjoaa lopullisen mukavuuden talvella tai kesällä, koska se sijaitsee sydämessä Purgatory Village vain muutaman askeleen päässä ensisijainen suurnopeus hissi alkuun vuori, Purgatory Express. Aivan kuten nimimerkki osoittaa, Village Center on Durango Mountain Resortin ja Purgatory-kokemuksen episentrassa. Talvella tai kesällä ei ole parempaa sijaintia.

Huoneisto on nurkka-asunto, josta on upeat näkymät sekä vuorille että laskettelurinteille, ja se sijaitsee yhdellä tasolla 4. kerroksessa, jossa on hissi, ja jossa on kaksi kansia nauttimaan upeista näkymistä Needles-vuorijonolle, ehkä kaikkein upeimpiin ja upea valikoima 14 000 jalkahuippua kaikissa Colorado Rockiesissa.

Village Central unit 405 is perfect location

This 2BR 2 bath condo was perfectly located at Village Central with views of the ski lifts, purgy's and the beautiful snow covered mountains. Thoroughly enjoyed Purgatory Resort with all of its amenities. The condo was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay immensely! The property manager was very responsive when we had a shower light flickering and allowed us to have a late check out.

Sometimes housekeeping could be better (maybe don’t trust that the guests before you know how to do dishes properly, etc). But, we love this place and would stay again. Firewood delivery is awesome, and rental management company is easy to work with and responsive.

Enjoyable stay

PROS:The property was as advertised. Very nice condo. A little dated, but well kept. Location was convenient. Beds we were comfortable. All TVs & appliances were in good working order. Setting was AMAZING. CONS: Dishes weren't clean, we had wash everything before we could use it. Needs better lighting in the bathrooms, too dark. The last night we were swarmed with gnats inside the condo, although the property manager can't be faulted for that.

It has a washer/dryer, which is a plus on a longer stay. We really enjoyed using the fireplace, and it is easy to call and have wood brought over. Only downside was the people before us really messed up the coffeemaker and cleaners must have overlooked it. Everything else was great, and the rental company was as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, comfortable condo

Ideal spot for skiers. Well appointed kitchen with all the pots, pans, etc needed (not always the case in these type of rentals!) Very comfortable and well kept condo! Bonus to have covered parking. Check in was easy. Requested late check out at front desk and they approved it, but then got rude call from property manager on check out day because we weren't out at usual check out time. Communication should have been more clear about whom to ask for late check-out- or insure front desk does not approve it if they do not have the authority to do so.

Unit review

Location was great and unit was clean. This unit needs maintenance done on both bathroom faucets and shower heads. All are nearly plugged from mineral deposits and water flow is barely enough to wash hands. Unit also needs maintenance on kitchen cabinet doors and drawers. Lighting throughout the condo is insufficient.

Check-in was a pain. Elevator keys not working, vague directions that led us to the wrong building. The room itself was oddly decorated, but we knew that in advance. What we didn’t know is that it smelled like cat urine. Neither of the fold out beds were usable. Also, you charge an extremely high cleaning fee, but want me to do the laundry? Absurd.

Phenomenal Location - very poor check-in with front desk

I would have given this review 5 stars had it not been for the very poor and frustrating experience during check-in at the front desk. The Purgatory Lodge front desk and vacation rental company were not on the same page with our access cards for both the BUILDING and the POOL as well as a parking pass. We were not aware all of this was needed and made for a lengthy process after driving all day. There was a lot of calling back and forth with the vacation rental company and the front desk, making sure everyone was on the same page. It was also discovered the vacation rental company failed to contact me when my credit card did not go through for the pool access upgrade. It would've been nice had they let me know none of that went through instead of handling upon arrival. We also accidentally left some items at the condo and currently working with the vacation rental company to retrieve those items for us. I do feel like this would be a chance for them to redeem over the top customer service with us despite the check-in process. Bottom line: Condo was awesome, wonderful amenities, everything we need and perfect location/view. Only downside....and a BIG one for us was the arrival mishap with access cards for building, pool and parking pass. That all could've been avoided with some communication via text, email or phone.

Enjoyed enough to stay twice in five

We found the unit to be everything that we hope for. It was well equipped and the views of the ski mountain were incredible. I stayed there for two weeks with my wife then went back to Texas and returned for another two weeks with my friend to fish. I would recommend this unit to anybody who wants to have a fun time at a great location.

The most perfect location!

We could sit on the patio, overlooking the village for hours. The scenic views were just stunning. The house was clean and well equipped. We liked staying up in Purgatory where it’s about 15 degrees cooler, and driving down to Durango or up to Silverton. In our opinion, it was the perfect location and centrally located to everything. We are already looking to come back soon!
