House was awesome! Great view and perfect location. Walking distance to the pier and all the island shops. House is spacious and the host was great with communication.

Perfect Location

The house had plenty of room for everyone to spread out and was supplied with everything we needed. The beach front location was perfect and we really enjoyed being walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Surf City Sensation

It was our first time to Surf City, and what a neat beach town it is! This house is in a prime location with private beach and very short walks to many restaurants, shops and other fun things. Highly recommend this house. We had 7 adults and two dogs, and we had plenty of room. Sitting on the covered deck watching the waves come in was so relaxing.

Family acation

Plenty of room to spread out in this house. We had 5 adults snd 5 kids with plenty of space on 2 levels. Loved being right on the beach and easy walk to a lot of restaurants . Beautiful uncrowded beach.

Very nice property conveniently located.

This property was very nice and conveniently located to town. We were able to walk to many restaurants and shops and to the pier. Nice neighborhood. Very pet friendly and we appreciated that since we brought along our dog. The owner has thought of everything and there were many extras in the home. Would recommend and stay again.

November Trip

This was a wonderful property that had plenty of room for my family and any guests. it’s located in an area close to grocery, restaurants, and entertainment. Not too far from the Surf City Ocean Pier. The deck landing provides easy access to the beach where we spent most of our time.

Wonderful property, wonderful owner, close to everything

We traveled with six adults, 1 child age 1.5, and 3 dogs this place had enough room for us all. The dogs had a deck that locked so we didn't have to worry about them escaping down the steps also for the kid. We liked being close to downtown. The house was lovely had everything we needed and more. John is amazing to work with in regards to everything.

Great beach house!

We had a lovely few days at this house! The location is perfect- you can walk to the pier! The house is really comfy and cute- we all took naps on the couch. It was great for my dog and my 1 year old son too. The deck has a gate, and there were baby/dog gates provided to keep everyone contained. The deck is wonderful, we loved the high chairs! Finally, the owner is super helpful and responsive. Great place for a family trip!

Wonderful week!

What a wonderful week! The house was in the best location, we walked everywhere :) Spent every morning on the covered deck with my coffee- rain or shine. In April it tends to be cool in the morning and I would take a blanket out with me. Best part of the day. Lots of rest and relaxation. Our dog Millie loved our daily walks on the beach. So many wonderful little shops and places to eat made my kids very happy! Can’t wait to go back!!

Fabulous house, dog friendly, great beach access!

I highly recommend this fabulous beach house to anyone looking to vacation in the Surf City area. The home was clean, well maintained, and John (home owner) was great to work with and responded very quickly anytime we had a question. The view of the ocean can't be beat, and access to the beach is easy for anyone able to negotiate a couple flights of stairs. The icing on the cake was being able to have our 2 dogs with us! We had a great time, despite record heat and humidity throughout our stay. The a/c in the house worked great...for which we were very thankful! We hope to rent this house again next year!

Outstanding

We loved loved loved everything about this property! We go to the beach multiple times each year and this home is by far our very favorite!! It is the perfect location to walk to everything! It is well equipped! My family consisted of 4 senior citizens, one nine year old boy and two 40 something's a s we all equally loved it! Perfect sunsets/sunrises on the porch to drink coffee and enjoy! Ocean views from every room! Just outstanding already booked another week in 2016

Very nice family beach house

We liked this place very much. We’ve been going to the Topsail-Surf City area for years, and we really liked Sandpiper Landing’s convenient location. Walkable to quite a few places. Want to rent again. The house layout is also very good. We are the grandparents and stayed on upper level, the kids and grandkids on the lower level. The main living area upstairs is arranged in a way that makes good use of the available space. We loved the puzzle table. The deck is wide and chairs are high enough that you can see over the railing. There was one issue that arose and owner responded very quickly. Very good experience..

Beautiful ocean front property, convenient location!

We all loved the house and it worked out great for our family with 2 adults, 6 children and 2 dogs! The house has beautiful ocean views and easy access to the beach! Only suggestions would be to add a few more steps down the last section of the hill to get to the beach. The sand would get very hot and was difficult to walk up, especially when carrying all of your beach supplies! The house is also in a perfect location to walk to numerous restaurants and shops! We LOVED the grind, for delicious donuts, coffee and ice cream and we loved The New York Deli for both breakfast and lunch! Great beach house and we look forward to staying there again!!

Conveniently located to everything

This was our first time in Surf City. Very cute beach area. You can walk to all the shops and grocery store. House was comfortable and plenty of room for us. My only critique is that it seemed some placed where missed with the vacuum when cleaning crew came in. Sand and Cheeto crumbs where found in bunk beds. The vacuum on site was very good and we used it throughout the week for our own selves. No other issues. Very easy to contact owner if we needed anything or had questions.

Roomy, comfy house in a super-convenient location

Sandpiper Landing is a great house for a big, casual, active group. Four of us and our dog stayed there the week before Christmas and enjoyed the very short walk to the coffee shops, restaurants, and pier. The house does have a lot of stairs, but we didn't mind. The first thing I check is always the beds, and these are all quite firm and comfortable, with plenty of pillows and blankets available. The location is quiet, even though it's close to the middle of everything, and the house feels solid. The kitchen appliances are new and excellent, and the kitchen equipment is generally adequate. Good bathrooms and plenty of storage space. It's an easy house to stay in. The dog liked it too.

Terrific location, fabulous views

We had a wonderful week at the beach. Swimming, seafood, bicycling, and relaxing on the shaded deck were among the fun activities that we enjoyed. We have been frequent visitors to Topsail over the years, but have never before stayed in Surf City. I was worried about crowds and noise, but neither was a problem. There was always plenty of space and expansive views on the beach and, even if there had been noise on the city side, we never heard a thing! (And maybe there wasn't any. We were totally insulated from it in any case.) We also found that it was quite a luxury to walk to ice cream, shops, and restaurants! A perfect vacation combination!

We spent a lot of time, money and effort to assure the house has all the conveniences you'd expect and then some. My goal is to keep the place 100% serviceable and carefree so you may enjoy yourself in a trouble free environment.

We and all our guests love the convenience of being centrally located in Surf City. Once you get here, you can leave the car parked. 2 blocks from the pier, shopping, restaurants, attractions, entertainment, groceries, you name it. Yet the beach can almost seem like you are on an island to yourself at times with your private beach access away from the pier crowd.
