Breckenridge Ski Chalet sijaitsee hyväpalkkaisella hiihtoalueella lähellä kaikkea, pyöräparkkia, kylää, ostoksia, ruokailua ja paljon muuta. Last Minute Change But Great!

We booked this place for a snowboard weekend/walk to Summit. This actual place had a maintenance issue from the snow, but the Property Manager quickly switched us to a place equally as close and awesome. We enjoyed are stay and had a great time. Even with the last minute change we would stay again.

Was an OK place to stay...Outdated.

House was not as clean as I would of expected it to be. Floors were not very clean and carpet needs a steam cleaning. Furniture also needs cleaning. Bathrooms had water damage on ceilings and by baseboards. Baseboards in house were dirty and some were missing. This really bothered me. Under the sink and behind the sink on top leaked in kitchen, blinds did not work in most rooms, outlet in bedroom 1 was exposed, smell of cigarettes in house when we first arrived, light bulbs were needed in living room therefore we had no lights in there and randomly throughout house, Refrigerator did not work well and when I called to ask about it I was told you can't fill it up right away or it would not get cold and to put stuff in gradually. Well when you are getting to a house that you are staying at for 5days you have a lot of stuff to put in the fridge and in my opinion it should work regardless of how much is in it! My refrigerator at home does not do this. Freezer just had a sheet of ice at the bottom where it would melt and refreeze? I don't know what's wrong there but my freezer food was soft the whole time. Hot tub was not very clean at all. Pillows..we needed way more pillows and they were so small. Needed more towels..had to buy our own. It did rain very hard while we were there and we could not sit on back porch due to the gutters being so full of pine needles that the water would just pour down on deck and soak us. Things I did like about the house was location, backyard was very nice, it does fit 12 people very comfortably and beds were comfortable.

Birthday getaway

We wanted a house that we can spend some time together in the open space this house gave us just that everything was convenient and we all had fun as a family The backyard was very nice and cozy or we can watch and play altogether We enjoyed the Jacuzzi at night under the stars very nice and quiet neighborhood The atmosphere in the home was very peaceful clean and cozy The beds were comfortable and clean the kitchen and dining room space gave us time to play games and have fun and memorable times together we would definitely stay here again

Close to Snow Summit

Perfect for our group of 5. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub! We even got some fresh snow our first morning! The house is not pristine, but was clean, warm, and worked for us. The neighborhood was nice, and quiet. We were able to walk back to the house after skiing, which was great because the road detours on the weekend made driving to/from the resort fairly inconvenient. The house is really close to the shuttle stop, but we walked the whole way just as quickly. Check in and out was easy, and the app made it easy to report any issues or ask questions.

The place was as spacious as advertised and well maintained. The yard was spacious with a hot tub right by the stairs for easy access. My only concern was the cleanliness of the hot tub. when opened, there was a green coloring to it (algae perhaps). No debris, but just seemed like it hasn't been properly cleaned.

Disappointed

First time in Big Bear and were excited about our mini vacation and home we rented. Unfortunately, the house was not what we thought from looking at pictures on website. House was very dirty. Gas leak in kitchen that I smelt and called for gas company to come out. Closet in one of the bedrooms were hanging off, piles of dust on bed frames and dust and cobwebs all over bottom of all end tables. Made it hard to sleep in beds. I called and asked for management to call me to discuss. So far not a peep from anyone. Terrible.

Might have been good - we didn't stay here

Over an hour after check-in, I called the property management company for check-in details which were not provided as promised. They called me back to say there was a "maintenance issue" and this house was not available to stay at. I'm not sure why I had to call them. No apologies for the inconvenience. They provided us with an "upgrade" which did not have a yard for the kids, was farther from where we wanted to stay, and did not have the bed accommodations listed here. The new place was dirty and in a loud neighborhood where we had to drive instead of walk to Snow Summit. Very disappointed in the property management.

Roomy and close to town

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was perfect for our family. plenty of room for more people, but it was just the 3 of us with our doggy. pool table was nice for down time, and kitchen was big and functional. We brought what we needed to cook but they had pretty much everything stocked if needed. They also had a propane grill outside so we didn't need to use the charcoal we brought.Yard was spacious and gated so out little guy could run around, however, the gates on both ends were not latched and broken off the hinge. It was a little worrisome at night as well as for our dog to run out. We blocked it off with some things just in case. Back door to patio also didn't lock so they had a wooden stick that limited it being open but still felt unsafe and worrisome at night. Bedrooms were big and had lots of beds for other guests. but the master bed was so high it was hard to get on and off multiple times. My son wanted to stay in the front room but changed rooms cause the curtains don't cover the whole window and he felt like someone could just look inside. All in all, it could've been better but the place was so close to town and we could go out and come back quickly to grab things or change.

Great 4 bedroom, close to ski lifts

We loved our rental for our family. There were 4 adults and 4 children. The house was laid out perfectly for kids. No stairs! Hot tub was nice, but the water seemed dirty. Still felt great after a day of skiing. We could have walked to Snow Summit and Bear Mtn is only 1.5 miles away. Pool table was fun and we were able to sled in the backyard. Overall, we would highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a great location and a cozy house.

Great location as well as nice cabin.

It was a nice cabin. It was in a great location. The pool table was a great entertainment. The firewood fireplace was really nice too. The cabin had plenty of beds, perfect for the amount of people. The kitchen was complete, it had cookware, pretty much everything we needed. We loved this cabin😘

Family ski trip

This place was perfect for 3 families. The floor plan and layout are perfect for a large group. There’s plenty of room for adults to hang out in the dining area while the kids sit in the living room to watch movies. the house is decorated very nice and is obviously kept up. The extra large kitchen allowed for 3 people to prep meals and drinks. We had everything we needed there to cook. The rear yard looks very large but we didn’t use that because of the snow. This is a great spot for ski trips. You can walk about 3 properties and you arrive at the “Brownie Lane” shuttle pick up for Big bEar resort.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay here over MLK weekend! This house is cozy and comfortable and located super close to Snow Summit! Great backyard for the kids, great hot tub and fireplace, everything you needed in the kitchen, plenty of towels (which is often not the case with rentals), extra blankets, TV's in 3 of the 4 bedrooms. There were 5 of us, grandpa, couple + 2 kids and we had plenty of space and a whole extra bedroom since the kids shared the bunk room. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Backyard is perfect for the kids to play and the hot tub is a plus. Loved the surrounding area, great for walks. Loved that it was close to everything, (Lake, market, the Village etc) I would definitely stay here again. The only down fall was there was nosy neighbor always trying to look into the window. But we didn’t let that ruin our stay.
