Bienvenidos! Tervetuloa Casa Kelmariin, joka on yksi Sayulitan uusimmista luksuslomakohteista. Kauniiden puisten porttien takana odottaa yllätys. Löydät ruohoisen nurmikon ja kuohuviiniä suolaisen veden äärettömästä uima-altaasta. Talo on ulkopuolella liukuovilla, jotka voidaan avata, jotta ulkona pääsee sisään. Rehevä trooppinen puutarha, jossa on hedelmäpuita ja puulämmitteinen pizzauuni on kodin takana, täydellinen paikka rentoutua.

Ihanteellisella paikalla rauhallisessa Sayulitan pohjoispäässä sijaitseva Casa Kelmar on lyhyt tasainen 3 minuutin kävelymatka rannalle ja 7 minuutin kävelymatka Central Plazaan. Useat ravintolat ja kaupat ovat muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Ei mäkiä kiivetä. Siellä on turvallinen autotalli, jossa on pysäköintialue pienelle autolle tai golfkärrylle.

Ulkona on useita terasseja, joissa voit ja vieraasi rentoutua. Siellä on myös kaasugrilli ja ulkotilojen pesuallas / baari. Kodin päätasolla on 2 terassia. Autotallin yli oleva patio on todella hauska paikka seurata naapuruston tapahtumia. Yksityisemmällä katettu terassi keittiön vieressä on kaunis käsintehty pöytä ja tuolit, joissa mahtuu 10 henkilöä. Siellä on myös ulkouima-alue, jossa on mukava sohva ja tyynyt. Täydellinen paikka nauttia aamukahvia tai iltapäivänapit. Toisen kerroksen patio makuuhuoneiden ulkopuolella on myös enemmän istuimia ja lepotuoleja. Kolmannen kerroksen makuuhuoneeseen kytkettynä on toinen iso oma terassi, joka voisi olla jopa puitteet intiimille tapaamiselle.

Keittiö on erittäin moderni ja siinä on saari, liesi ja uuni, jopa astianpesukone. Se on hyvin varusteltu keittämään omia ateriasi tai kokki voidaan järjestää tekemään ruokaa sinulle. Oheisessa ruokailutilassa on 10 istuinta sisätiloissa. Toisessa kerroksessa on myös iso perhehuone, jossa on ylisuuri poikkipinta-sohva ja iso taulutelevisio, joka on täydellinen paikka rentoutua pitkän päivän jälkeen rannalla. Koko ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on liukulasiovi, jotka voidaan avata ja piilottaa tuntemaan koko kodin ollessa ulkona.

Kodissa on neljä makuuhuonetta. On olemassa kaksi Master-sviittiä, joissa on king-size-vuoteet, liitetyt kylpyhuoneet, ylisuuret suihkut ja suuri kävelykaappeja. Yhdessä master-sviitissä on myös iso vedä vuodesohva. Siellä on myös makuuhuone erillisillä vuoteilla ja makuuhuone queen-size-vuoteella. Nämä 2 makuuhuonetta jakaa ulkona olevan puutarhakylpyhuoneen, jossa on kylpyamme ja yläsadesuihku. Yläosastolta on kauniita viidakon ja näkymättömiä merinäköalaa ja auringonlaskua.

We stayed for a week at Casa Kelmar with our college aged kids for Spring Break. The house was spectacular, exceeded our expectations with so much space for everyone and a fabulous pool all to ourselves. Easy walk to the beach and to the plaza for shopping, dining, and night life. Can’t wait to come back!

Great stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Kelmar! The house is spacious and well cared for, the pool was perfect for kids, and the location is a short walk to the action in town! We had the friendliest house keeper and an added bonus was we were able to use the washer and dryer which came in handy travelling with kids/ babies. Would absolutely stay here again!

Extended family fiesta.

Casa Kelmar was the perfect villa for our family getaway. Loved the tasteful Mexican tiles and colors. The first floor with open kitchen and living area opening to the outdoor terrace and pool for Al fresco dining and hanging out. We all loved the pool and used it multiple times a day! Bedrooms were comfortable and private each its own terrace. Villas’s location was ideal. Literally a five minute walk to peaceful beach. The town was an easy walk with so many restaurants. and shops to explore.

Great house in a great location for a family trip

We loved our stay at Casa Kelmar. The house was perfects for our two families and the location could not be beat. It was a quick walk to the beach and a short walk into town. Plus there was a fun restaurant a few doors down (with 2 for 1 margarita happy hour) and a hotel with a great coffee shop right next door. We loved the experience of exploring town or going to the beach and then coming back to our private pool to relax (probably the kids favorite part of the trip!). I really recommend this house if you're heading down to Sayulita.

Gorgeous, well maintained and soooo convenient!

Casa Kelmar was just perfect for our family of 5 adults, one almost 3 year old. So easy to get around town and to the beach. The house is gorgeous, Ernesto, the manager was very responsive. Claudia, the daily housekeeper was fun to have around and did a great job of keeping the house sparkling. We had 2 wonderful meals prepared by the wonderful in home chef (I want her recipes!). Very easy and fun place to stay!

Great property for young families

Outstanding property that was perfect for a few families with infants. Location is great )one block from the beach) that allowed for easy back/forth. Pool and loving area are very nice and perfect for hanging out. Kelly and Ernesto were both extremely quick to respond to any questions or needs the group had. Will book again next time we head to Sayulita!

Great place....Great location!!

This property is everything described in VRBO and more! Our airport pickup arranged by the owner was on time and delivered us promptly to the residence. The house was incredible....from the saltwater infinity-edge pool that you first see when you enter the lower gate to the spacious living room, kitchen and bedrooms within the residence. Our family had a blast surfing, hanging at the beach and riding ATV's. The golf cart that was provided with the home provided easy access to the local restaurants and was essential in running errands into town. Ernesto helped with booking shuttles to the airport and also provided suggestions on the best local restaurants to eat. A fantastic home, with great amenities! We absolutely be returning to the house in spring! Thanks for a great stay, we fell in love with Sayulita and Casa Kelmar!

Paradise discovered!

I hate to rate this property because I’m afraid it will never be available again! But the property itself is perfection; so comfortable and the Mexican style enhances your experience. Beds good, bathrooms good, kitchen good. We had a family of 10 ranging from 2 yrs to 64 yrs. The infinity pool was a huge hit with kids and adults alike. The beach is literally across the street on a path, and it’s not the crazy downtown beach. It is quieter with amazing sunsets! You can walk 2-5 minutes to the Mini Super for supplies or to several great restaurants (shout out to Chaman Creative Kitchen, Tropical House, the pizza place nextdoor and to ALL OF THE TACO STANDS)! Downtown is 5 minutes further. We did not need a car or a golf cart. The Covid testing for re-entry to the U.S. is a pain for a large group but we went to St. Luke’s Hospital and they took good care of us. Ernesto, the house manager, is on top of things! When a couple of minor things came up, he had them handled within minutes. Honestly, I hope nobody reads this so the house will be available for our next trip. Thank you Casa Kelmar!

Christmas at Casa Kelmar

Casa Kelmar: All the things we loved Safe and secure and private. Quiet side of town. Location. One block to beach, 6-minute walk to downtown. Good restaurants and markets within 2-3 minute walk. Coffee and breakfast next door at Bonita with Yoga! Ernesto the house manager. Can do anything or get anything done. Impressive. Responsive. Booked our rides from airport, assisted in golf cart rental, arranged chef – returned calls or texts if we had a question or needed help with anything. Villa well taken care of and clean – housekeeper came every day but Sunday. Claudia was fabulous. Bed linens, towels, beach towels all good quality and abundant. Hairdryers.Nice appliances (big Samsung fridge). Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Hired Chef Sirenia for 2 nights. She was fabulous and should have had her more often. She prepares on site, sets table, serves meal, cleans up and packages all leftovers. See Ernesto to book her for your stay. Excellent sliding wall windows to open space completely or close it up for security. Great AC system in each room. Main floor opens completely to outdoor dining table and pool area. Space for family to gather. Just the right size saltwater infinity pool. It got lots of use. Nice TV area and big comfy sofa. Lots of books, DVD’s and games. TV worked great. Wifi good. Outdoor shower wonderful to wash off sand before coming upstairs. Sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, surfboards in garage. Delightful! Guess we will be back!

Really fantastic property in an ideal location!

We just returned from six days at Casa Kelmar and overwhelmingly loved the house. The location is perfect - on the north side of the town where it feels calmer and more sanitary. You are right across the street from a short path to the beach, and 1.5 blocks from a commercial area with a bar, ice cream shop, pizza place etc. The house itself is wonderful. The main room, opening up completely to the outside, is perfect and the pool is so so nice (great temperature - we were in it all day). It's west-facing which means it's shaded until about ~12 or 1pm and then gets the most wonderful afternoon and evening sun. We took advantage of the in-home chef for three of our six nights - a bit pricey (relative to local restaurants) but such a treat to have dinner prepped and cleaned up at home. And the food was delicious. We also rented the six passenger golf cart for the week. Also pricey (~$75 USD per day) but it was a very high quality golf cart vs. others you'll see on the streets. Good tires for unpaved roads. It wasn't 100% necessary (10 minute walk from town) but really good given we had little ones and some seniors. We also used it to go to our favorite beach: Playa de los Muertos - a ~10 minute cart drive. While there is a beach across the street, it was not very user-friendly (hot sand, no shade, big surf/hard to swim with kids, sand too hot to walk on, etc.). Playa de los Muertos has ample shade, a buyoed-in swim area with gentle waves, lots of rocks and tide pools to explore. It was our go-to. Ernesto - the property manager - was also very helpful during our stay, following through on every request. A few areas of constructive feedback that could be helpful for the owners (though would not stop us from coming back!): - Mosquitoes - Ernesto assured us there wouldn't be any this time of year (April) but there were. I killed many each night on the walls around the house and still got bitten while I slept. But doubt that's unique to this property - Kitchen - While open and spacious, it was poorly-equipped to actually cook in (very few sharp knives, just one cutting board, just one bowl larger than a cereal bowl, just one measuring cup, oven broken, etc.). I don't recommend cooking full dinners at home. - Pizza oven - Ernesto did warn us it'd be hard, but we were unable to get the fire going to use the pizza oven (actually, it did get going eventually, but far too late for us to actually use it - made the pizzas on the grill) Thank you guys!!!

Best Possible Place to Enjoy Salulita

North of Puerto Vallarta is a Mexican Rivera town called Sayulita with a beautiful beach often good for surfing but equally good for swimming, boogie boards, paddle boards, and massages in tents along the beach. There are no international hotels here, and everything is in pleasant clutter. There are scores of restaurants, often feeding you along the street, and lots of happy people enjoying the tropical warmth especially when their home countries are frozen and bleak. Many live here at least 6 months of the year so it is a very English-friendly town, although your Spanish will serve you well. Don’t come here for plush and posh, come for warm and friendly and “tranquilo”. It is a fairly young town and many families with children. Everything is within walking distance, but you may wish to have an electric cart seating 4 or 6 adults and a few assorted children. It is jungle hot in the summer and sort of closes down during those months, but it is jungle warm in the winter and you won’t need your sweater ever. Which brings us to Casa Kelmar. You can rent this mansion just 1 minute from the beach and 6 blocks from the city center to handle you when the sand and sun and fun have overcome you. You come to high white walls and a locked gate that opens to your private paradise. There is a garage with an electric cart, beach chairs and umbrella in it. And an outside shower to wash off the sand. But after some green lawn nicely mowed, steps take you up to a small but cool and refreshing pool that magically turns off the heat and humidity the second you jump in. There are tiled patios around the pool, an outside dining room, a breakfast patio, upstairs patios outside bedrooms, a roof-top patio. The house is large and roomy with big kitchen, indoor sitting areas, and 4 large bedrooms: 2 kings, 2 twins, 1 queen. You can sleep 8 easily and more on sofas. 4 bathrooms handle all easily. AND the house has good air-conditioning. Sure you could go natural and sweat and lie about half clothed day and night, but it is very nice to come out of the warm humid air and have a cool bedroom to sleep in, insect free. There is a nice maid who tidies up each morning. There is a local manager who will help you if something needs fixing, and can help you get transportation for trips to San Pancho (San Francisco) and from and to Puerto Vallerta for your airline flights. This is a beautiful home, at a fair price, that will make you feel like Sayulita Royalty.

Perfect for us

We were three families each bringing toddlers. The house was fantastic and the location was ideal. Would definitely return.

The best and something for everyone

We will be back. The location of Casa Kelmar was terrific. Walk to beach, town and jungle hiking. The pool was a great activity for days we wanted quiet relaxing time and steps out the door is the lively activities of Sayulita. The staff and property managers were helpful and always available for requests and questions. We especially appreciated Claudia who diligently kept the house clean and was kind and hard working. We will be back soon!

Incredible

We had an amazing stay here. 10/10. We were a group of friends celebrating birthdays and it couldn’t have been a more accommodating property. Plenty of space, patios, shared and private. Short walk to town and the beach is less than 5 minutes away.

Beautiful and spacious house close to town

I went with a group of 8 people and we absolutely loved the property. It’s close enough to walk to town and far enough to enjoy peace and quiet at the house. The house itself is gorgeous with brightly colored walls and traditional Mexican decor. It was super spacious and everyone had more than enough room to relax. We were celebrating a birthday so we wanted to make the most of the property by booking a private dinner to be made at the house that I had read about in some other reviews. However there was a miscommunication with the house manager so she ended up showing up the day before we had scheduled which was sad because she had all the food to prepare but we had other plans for that night and had to ask her to come back the next day which is what we had originally scheduled. There were also a couple other hiccups in communication with the house manager that didn’t make or break the trip but everything would have been flawless if the communication had been smoother. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!
