Papa Country Cottage Fairhope

Vaatimaton 3 makuuhuoneen tiili kotiin rakennettu Papa ajatellen. Talo on täysin esteettömiksi, kuten leveä oviaukot, ei matto ja kylpyhuone kaiteet. Yhdessä makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode ja toisessa makuuhuoneessa on yhden hengen vuode. Kolmas makuuhuone on valmistettu suuresta pesutupahuoneesta, mutta hotellityylinen vuode on käytettävissä.
Koti on yksi täysi kylpyhuone pääsee suihku. Keittiössä on kaikki tärkeimmät laitteet kuten astianpesukone. On mukava iso piha, mutta se ei ole aidattu.

Feels like home

I dont know even where to start! This host is an amazing person. We have officially adopted her as our own! Immediately when we were greeted by her we felt at home. She showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. She left us goodies on the table and fridge which was helpful until we could make it to the store. Everything we could have needed was provided for us. Everything thing was super clean as well. The only thing we didn’t like was having to say goodbye to such an amazing human being. We will certainly miss her. If your in the gulf area stay at Papas Cottage, you won’t regret it. It’s close to everything and so peaceful. Great memories made staying here!We loved it!

Papa’s Cottage is a quiet peaceful home.

Mary makes you very comfortable, they always make you feel welcome, they meet you and make sure your arrival is pleasant. They have breakfast bread, butter, coffee and cream also juice. This is so nice as we had a long drive so not having to search for these things the first morning is very appreciated.

This little house was just what my sisters and I needed . It is so easy to get to Fairhope, Daphne and Spanish Fort . We had a wonderful stay and Mrs. Mary Jean (the owner) was as nice a person you could meet . She had breakfast food and drinks and snacks there for us . Will stay again as soon as we can . The breakfast bread form Publix is delicious.. .All you need is your suitcase .

We love Papa's Place!

Having stayed here for years, we were concerned that the damage from the hurricane last year would change the atmosphere at the home. We were pleasantly surprised to find that, other than missing a few trees, nothing has changed at all. Mr. George and Mrs. Mary Jean are the perfect hosts! From the goodies left in the fridge and on the table to the consistency and cleanliness of the home, this is the perfect place for our small family to visit nearby family. We love coming here every time!

Mary is a sweetheart!

Mary was great to work with and everything about our stay was great. She met us at the property to help us get settled and had already put a few goodies in the fridge for us. We were hired to play for the city of Mobile's pre-fireworks show and put some other gigs together around the Fairhope area. Mary showed up at our final show of the trip! What a sweet lady.

A nice place to stay

The host is truly one of the kindest people I have ever met. She was so sweet and helpful. She cares about people.. The home is very clean and very well stocked with attention given to every detail. My dog loved to play in the large yard. The property leaves nothing to be desired. My wife, son, dog and I had a great time. You will too if you book this home.

Ms Mary and Mr George we’re extremely wonderful people, they made sure we were comfortable, they had coffee, creamer, breakfast bread, some cold sodas and water also orange juice in the cottage so we didn’t have to go back out a four 13 hour drive. Ms Mary had a fresh bouquet of flowers with a Mother’s Day balloon waiting to greet me! They are the nicest people, I hope we have the pleasure of seeing them again.

Outstanding, exceeded our expectations!

The outstanding condition of this home could only be exceeded by the couple that owns the home. Mary Jean and George greeted us upon our arrival and could not have been more gracious as hosts. They definitely went the extra mile to ensure the home was appealing, making us feel at home. Very highly recommended. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back for a longer extended stay, as we are hoping to find a home in the area for a possible retirement home.

Mary Jean Thought of Everything!

Miss Mary Jean thought of everything down to directions to the nearest hospital. She stocks necessities, hygiene products, even snacks! Papa's cottage is much nicer than shown in the pictures. We absolutely loved meeting her and wish we had planned for more time to talk with her. My papa was my hero. What a neat legacy she lovingly upkeeps for him.

Could not have been a more complete little cottage. Perfect for peace and quiet. Plenty of room for me and my two pets. I actually closed off two rooms. 3-5 people and/or pets would be very comfortable. The area within 30 miles afforded all kinds of activities, places to eat, some very near by, shopping, etc. All top level. The cottage was so clean you could eat off the floors.

Mrs. Mary Jean and Mr. George are absolutely awesome people! They had coffee, sugar, creamer, chips, and drinks waiting on us! We bought a fire pit and they had no problem with is having a fire! We had our Lab with us and they are animal people! We will be back to stay with them very soon! The house was super neat and clean! Lots of memorable wood creations by Mrs. Mary Jeans father! Quite and just you! Nothing but a field across the street and the beautiful Bama woods! Go stay with them!!!
