Sijainti.
Asunto on 60 metrin päässä Ponte Vecchio tai vanhan sillan, yksi tunnetuimmista Firenzen maamerkit, ja näyttää suoraan joen Arno. Vastakkaisella pankki-joen on Uffizin museon ja kuuluisa Vasari Corridor, joka yhdistää Palazzo Vecchio Uffizin ja koko Ponte Vecchio ja Pittin palatsi.

"Ponte Vecchio rentoutua" Huoneisto sijaitsee 2. kerroksessa hiljattain täysin kunnostettu rakennus kaikki ikkunat joelle Arno. Siinä on kaksi huonetta ja tilava kylpyhuone kokonaispinta-ala on noin 400 m². Ft.
Kuten kaikki ikkunat näyttävät päälle joen ja kukaan kasvot kadulle, asunto on erittäin hiljainen, vaikka ikkunat ovat auki. Se palvelee vasta asennettu hissi ja jokaisessa huoneessa on keskuslämmitys ja ilmastointi. Lisäksi lattia on täysin tammiparketti paitsi kylpyhuoneessa, jossa käyttö laattojen on parempana.
Kun kirjoitat huoneisto on pieni sali ja vasemmalle pääset runsaasti makuuhuone king size parivuode. Keskustasta salin annat iso kylpyhuone suihkulla ja jossa löydät myös pesukone. Vastakkaisella puolella sali makuuhuoneeseen löydät olohuone varustettu keittiö, joka voidaan sulkea pois näkyvistä, kun sitä ei käytetä. Keittiössä on mikroaaltouuni; työtason alle jääkaappi; astianpesukone ja kaksi palo induktio liesi. Leivänpaahdin ja kahvipannu on myös läsnä. Vuonna olohuoneessa mukava sohva voidaan avata paljastaa vuodesohva parivuode.

Apartment was well furnished in a great location but the air conditioning did not work. With temperatures exceeding 32 C, it was very hard to sleep even with the windows open. However, the mosquitoes feasted on us as my wife and I had more than 5 bites each. Owner should have AC checked well before it heats up for summer, such as late April or early May!!!

Beautiful!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It's a cozy little apartment with a beautiful view of the Arno River and easy to walk and explore Florence from this location. The space is well appointed with all of the necessities you could need while traveling and the bed is very comfortable. The hosts were wonderful and responsive to any questions. We'd love to stay again when in Florence.

What a great find

This property truly can't be beat. In Oltrarno (across the river from the main part of Florence), it is maybe all of 200 yards from the Ponte Vecchio. The view from the apartment windows is postcard-picture-perfect. And it is directly across the river from the Uffizi.The apartment itself is very comfortable and efficiently laid out. The kitchenette was perfect and the washer/dryer (all in one unit) was a nice amenity. We spent a fair amount of time just hanging out and relaxing there - both as a respite from the out-of-control Florence crowds and after the intensity of ten days of prior travel including a weeklong cycling trip through the Tuscany countryside.Perhaps best of all, the host, Migi, (who lives next door) is a delightful, elderly Italian woman who could not have been more friendly, helpful and welcoming. We relished the chance to spend time with her.

A delightful apartment overlooking the river

We were delighted with the apartment which was even better than the photographs. Everything in the apartment is of a high standard - beautiful floors, lovely kitchenette, tasteful furniture. The view of the Arno river and Ponte Vecchio is amazing. The host was very good at communication and very flexible when out travel was delayed. We will definitely book again when we are next in Firenze.

A lovely apartment in a perfect location

One wonderful thing about this place is the view… the river at all times of day. You are within a ten minute walk of most places you’d want to go. The apartment was immaculate, with really nice and plentiful linens. Many thanks to Migi, who was welcoming and delightful. I hope to return.

I’m almost afraid to write how great our experience, as for sure it’s a hidden gem. The location was terrific as you probably can tell by the picture's…right on the Arno and close to everything. Migi our cohost was amazing, giving us hints about where to go/eat etc. she was a delight and always ready to help. Although it’s still March there were many tourists, so in the summer be prepared.

Cozy apartment, great location

We had a lovely stay. Close to all tourist attractions, easy to reach, checkin in was lovely. Our defacto host, Migi, was the most delightful woman. The only minor criticisms are that the shower is VERY small (hard to even really wash and move), not all of the lights work and it is VERY close to the “action” of Florence so there is a bit of evening noise from the bridge music, nearby bars/clubs. These were minor and would still absolutely recommend a stay.

The highlight of our one month visit to Italy

The comfort and location of this place is amazing. We loved the views of the Ponte Vecchio from our windows. We purchased the Firenze Card and enjoyed our time in Florence. So much beauty and history in one spot. We also had the privilege of meeting and spending a brief visit with our host’s mother who lives next door. She was a breath of fresh air, very warm and welcoming. I would return to this rental in a heartbeat. We loved our stay. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

Outstanding location. Very clean and comfortable place. Highly recommend it. Beware transportation is extremely difficult(impossible) when you need to check out. I would give 5 stars but communication with host was not possible. A very nice lady that was neighbor to us helped us out.

Can’t beat the location & view.

I was here for 11 days. It’s a lovely location with beautiful views & easy to walk everywhere. The only thing I would caution anyone about is that there is music every night on the Ponte Vecchio bridge until around 10 or 10:30. The 1st night I had been traveling all day & went to bed around 9 which is early for me & then I was woken by the noise. It ended around 10 though & I went right back to sleep. Other than that, perfetto!

First, the apartment was lovely with magnificent views of the Arno River from every room. With the windows open the noise of the late night and several concerts lulled us until we went to bed and then with the windows closed the noise was almost non existent. Second, Migi was a delightful host and we so enjoyed meeting her and she went above and beyond in communication and friendliness. We truly enjoyed our stay and Italian experience in Firenze!

Fantastic View!

You can stand by your window all day and never tire of this view! If you leave the windows open at night, you may hear John Lennons “Imagine” being played on guitar on the bridge…..as it echoes over the Arno river. It’s just magical. Our hostess, Midgy was the most lovely classy lady and was more than hospitable. This was our second time staying at this apartment and we hope to stay there again. The bed is comfy, and everything you need is only steps away from the apartment. It’s a trip of a lifetime!

Enchanting

Our plan was to secure a well located and comfortable flat (apartment) in Florence and live there for three weeks. Unpack, settle in and come and go as we would if we lived there. This worked so well and we were delighted with our stay. In fact the flat was a highlight of the trip. So well located, stunning views of the Ponte Vecchio and the constant movement of happenings on the Arno River. As a family closely associated with the sport of rowing we were delighted in seeing so much activity with the rowing club opposite. The flat was perfectly arranged and all facilities were available . Comfortable, and tastefully furnished. The kitchenette was quite adequate and well provided with implements. The large double bed was superbly comfortable. We were hosted graciously, welcomed, and made to feel that assistance was always available. A lovely flat, superbly located with access to the old part of Florence. Restaurants close at hand as are the antiquities of the city.

Beautiful, great location, poor communication.

The place itself was amazing and in a perfect location and after a long day the elevator was nice, but check in was a bit rough. I was given check in information and followed all the directions expecting Benedetta to meet us when we got to the apartment (per instructions given). When we got there I texted and messaged on VRBO with no reply, I called the number that was given with no answer. So I called the main number on the listing (Alessandro) and he answered seemed confused and a bit out of sorts about what to do but eventually Migi (mother in law and also neighbor) came downstairs to the rescue, and what an amazing person she is! The washer/dryer was also not working which was a bummer since this was our second leg of our trip and needed to clean clothes but Migi offered to wash them for us and it worked out ok. Migi was a blessing in our case and it seems like most agree in the reviews and it seems like she should be the check in contact.

We loved it! Clean and spacious, windows in each room open to the Arno River below and views. We could see the Ponte Vecchio and could hear the music/band and singers until 10pm. Lovely! Easy walk to everything we hoped to see (Piazzale Michelangelo, Uffizi, Duomo and Baptistery, shopping, train station) but will have to come back and stay again to see more. Benedetta and Migy were so good to us in every way. We will come back and send friends in the meantime. Thank you!
