Perfect Hawaiian Vacation!

The house and property are gorgeous and we would love to be able to stay here again! The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were perfect for our group. The pool was amazing and the sunsets from the pool deck were mesmerizing! Location was perfect for our group as we love the quietness of the neighborhood and house and the proximity to the beaches and downtown Kona were exactly how we like to vacation!!

This house was wonderful for our group of seven. Plenty of privacy too with each bedroom having an attached bathroom. The real showstopper is the pool area with the most amazing views of the ocean. Everything went smoothly from communication with the owner to getting checked in at the guard house.One thing future renters may want to know is there is an outdoor cat that the owners are feeding. It wasn't really an issue except one night when we tried eating outside and the cat wouldn't leave us alone. It made a few people uncomfortable. Other than that, the house was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. Thank you for having us!

My family and I, total of 7 people, stayed here and had a fabulous stay. House was very clean, bedrooms were very spacious
.everything was so comfortable. Nicely equipped kitchen with plenty of pots/pans and utensils. Outside was very nice
.plenty of comfy seats and a beautiful table for outside dining. Views were spectacular and the sunsets were breathtaking! You won’t be disappointed when you book this home.

Simply the best!

Wow! That’s all we can say - Katie’s home is one of the best vacation homes we’ve ever stayed at. The pool, the view, and the outdoor living spaces were our favorite. She thought of everything inside as well. The amenities are top notch, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of beach towels and chairs for fun at the beaches. Comfortable beds, plush linens, extras of everything - we cannot recommend this place enough! We will be back!

Great location and comfortable house

This house has it all! Infinity pool with ocean views for days (unheated but the sun warms it up); 4 bedrooms with 5 beds available; ample storage (closets with hangers); toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, qtips, basic sunscreen/aloe/bug spray left over from other guests in the half bathroom); plenty of kitchen accessories (air fryer, blender, kuerig and drip coffee); snorkeling gear/beach chairs/beach towels/sun shade. Katie was communicative, quick for outreach/follow up before and during our stay!

First Annual Sisters Trip

We chose this magnificent home for our first sisters getaway to the Big Island. It exceeded ALL expectations and could not have made a better choice! The home is beautifully decorated, warm, comfortable and fully stocked from kitchen to beach accessories. We each had our own beautiful bedroom and bath. We gathered on the comfortable outdoor patio for morning coffee and every night for a beautiful sunset (a must!) as the view of of the ocean is perfect. The outdoor kitchen /grill and table was awesome. After our morning walks, we’d jump into the warm saline pool. Can’t say enough about this house. Perfect vacation, perfect house, perfect location and the owners were wonderful to communicate with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

PERFECT property!

I wish I could give this house 10 stars! It was immaculately clean when we checked in and ready for our family. The owner has thought of EVERYTHING that you would need to make your stay perfect. The house is in a gated community and the neighborhood is beautiful. This house has the perfect view from the back patio to relax and watch the ocean. But the sunsets! This house has the best views for those Hawaiian sunsets. It is close to town so commuting each day was never a problem. I would 10 times out of 10 stay here again and highly reccomend! The owner Kathleen was also very prompt with her responses and communications and is a top host! We hated to leave, but will be back to stay in this wonderful home!

Stunning home!

When we saw the photos online of this house we knew it was going to be pretty but it’s nothing like seeing it in person
it’s just absolutely gorgeous! We spent every morning drinking coffee on the back porch looking out at the ocean and enjoying all the various birds that visited. Everyone loved swimming in the pool and eating our meals on the covered eating area outside. It was a great experience for all of my family! (One tip - if you’re second guessing getting the AC like I did (in May) just go for it! We added it on after arriving and I’m so glad we had it because some days we really warm outside.)

Wonderful stay!! I booked the home for 8 people (4 couples) all adults. The house was exactly as described. We were in town for Ironman so I was excited to have a house where I could lay low and relax in the week leading up to it. Everyone had plenty of space to spread out, but also lots of great communal spaces to come together to spend time for meals, games etc. The views are INCREDIBLE. The kitchen had everything we needed for my mom to cook several meals for the group throughout the week. I didn’t even want to try local restaurants because nothing was as spectacular as the house and the views. Owners were super responsive in the weeks leading up to our stay and during the stay. Honestly my only criticism was how far it was from the downtown area of Kona where all the Ironman activities were held throughout the week, but I knew that when I booked the house and feel the trade off of being 5 miles away was well worth having such a cool house for the week to relax in. Also, the house next door is doing construction on their pool which got noisy in the afternoons but was quiet on the weekends. I got the master bathroom with the bath and outdoor shower and made use of both. How luxurious! Would not hesitate to book again. Thanks for an incredible stay.

This house was a dream vacation home. It has all of the amenities for a relaxing family vacation and you cannot get enough of the view and sunsets. If you go out for a day of exploring, you cannot wait to get back to the house to enjoy the pool and a family meal. The kitchen is fully stocked and is nice and spacious. The host, Katie, is always available and shares all of the information you might need during your stay. Thank you for allowing us to stay here and make some wonderful family memories!

LOVED the house/property
inside and outside!!! Everything you would want
lots of space and privacy with the four bedrooms and their own bathrooms! Living Room, Kitchen & Dining Room were all great and comfortable. The side yard patio was great with its BBQ, TV, big round top table and a high top/stools were all great to use! The pool was also great ( you would have thought all the grandkids had never even been in a pool they were so excited to be in it!!) and we always enjoyed our morning coffees and evening sunsets on the patio sofas! We did miss having a jacuzzi though! And the outdoor shower was a favorite!! Even though we chose to drive to distant beaches and locations, the house is very convenient to downtown Kona and lots of restaurants & shopping, etc. We had five adults and five grandkids (9-15) and everyone enjoyed it all!!! It made a very a fantastic trip and memory for all! Thank you!!!

Best location in Kona. Right where you want to be. Amazing view. Nice breeze up on the hill. 10 min out of town so you avoid the traffic. Wouldn’t change a thing. Loved every minute of our trip.

Beautiful Home

The house, location and amenities were awesome. Katie was a great host and made sure that we had everything we needed. The grill had broken with the previous guests, and she made sure a brand new one was delivered before we arrived. The only criticism I have is I wish the pool had been heated, and that I noticed what I believed was the hot tub was no longer a hot tub. But that was my oversight. Overall,a wonderful, beautiful home.

We had such a good time. We came from 4 states to spend family time together. Katie is the best of hosts. The home was just right for us. The best part-each family had their own bed/bathroom.

30th birthday celebration

A piece of paradise for sure!!! View was absolutely amazing, neighborhood was beautiful and quiet, location was central to a lot of beaches, shopping and restaurants. We had a fantastic stay celebrating my daughter’s 30th birthday. The host (Katie) couldn’t have been better at communicating with us! The place was immaculate and very comfy, cozy! We would love to come back some time! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! Mahalo!

We met 40 years ago at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. Each of us grew up in suburban Chicago--we both come from families of seven kids! We have three children of our own whom we are very proud of. Together, we enjoy golfing, hiking, fishing, red wine, and watching the sunsets. We don't think we will ever get tired of spotting a whale breaching.

Our first visit to Hawaii was on our honeymoon in 1985. We returned for our 10th, and then again for our 15th anniversary, and we have been coming back to the Big Island to enjoy mini-honeymoons every year since. We've enjoyed Spring Break here with our children many times as well. We just love the Big Island for its beautiful weather and casual vibe.

Over the years, we have visited many homes on the Big Island. The first time we walked into this home, we knew it was the perfect one for us. Ocean views, and especially sunsets, are very important to us. Of all the houses we had seen, this was the only one that truly offered an unobstructed view of the ocean. Not a single rooftop blocks the view!

The house is the perfect size for our family: a master bedroom suite for us, and 3 other bedrooms, one for each of our grown children. And since each bedroom has its own beautiful bathroom, everybody gets their privacy! We know that as our family inevitably expands, there will be plenty of room for spouses and grandchildren.
