TERVETULOA Hummingbird HAVEN!

Tämä kodikas, hirsimökki on kauniisti sisustettu antiikkia ja sijaitsee San Juan-joen Village, vain 20 minuutin päässä Wolf Creek Ski Area. Upeat näkymät San Juan Mountains voi nauttia wrap-around kannet kolmelta puolelta ja parveke pois parvi. Ääni San Juan-joen alaosassa kukkula tarjoaa suuren rentoutumista. Ilmainen Internet-yhteys on asennettu.

Mökki on helposti saatavilla yllä tie, vain lyhyen matkan off Highway 160, kuusi kilometriä itään Pagosa Springs.

Hummingbird Haven majoittaa kuusi henkilöä, mutta voi nukkua peräti kahdeksan. Alakerran makuuhuoneessa on queen-size-vuode ja parvella makuuhuone on täysikokoinen ja vyöryä joka vetää ulos king-size. Sohvalla olohuoneessa avautuu queen-size-vuode. On täysi kylpyhuone alakerrassa.

Kaikki ruoanlaittoon ja leivontaan tarpeisiin annetaan keittiössä. Pesutupa on täysikokoinen pesin ja kuivain. Ruokailutila ja olohuone on sisustettu tyylikkäästi jotkut perheen heirlooms sekä modernimpi satelliitti TV DVD-soitin ja kaasu takasta. Takka helposti lämmittää mökki kylmin yötä, mutta sähkö säteilevä lämpö on myös saatavilla. Parvi on myös satelliitti-tv.

Tarvitsetpa mökki hiihto, häämatka perääntyä, tai vain vuori get-away, HUMMINGBIRD Haven on täydellinen paikka!

Beautiful home, spotless. Nicely decorated. Quiet neighborhood but you are very close to others. But was no problem.Only issue was no internet, no cell phone service(Verizon), and no tv for 2 of our 3 days there. Internet provider was down. Had to go across the road for a signal, or back to town. Download directions well before you get there. We did get service for our last night there. We were hiking and fishing during the day, but did miss cell service, and internet at night. But there is a house phone there to make calls. Our contact for the owner did answer each time when I called her. She was very nice. My booking with the owner was good also. Again, it was a beautiful home on the outskirts of Pagosa Springs.

Thanksgiving in Pagosa Springs

Came to town for some rest and relaxation over the Thanksgiving holiday The cabin was perfect for our needs. Everything we needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner was available. Had a great time love the cabin and Pagosa Springs. Can't wait to come back.

Cabin

The cabin was everything they had said online and more. The inside was perfectly inviting and relaxing. I would highly recommend this cabin. We will be back for sure.

Very comfortable cabin.

We really enjoyed the Hummingbird haven cabin in Pagosa. Plenty of room for me and my wife. Two beds upstairs could could handle more. Easy drive in to Pagosa Springs and far enough out to be a quiet location. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and nice to walk the road. No trails accessible there but several not far. Nice place to stay.

Great location

Hummingbird Haven is a great location and a perfect cabin for families. Unfortunately, we visited during a record setting heatwave which meant hot days and nights. Aside from the heat, everything was perfect. The cabin has everything you need to cook/grill. The beds were comfortable. The outdoor spaces were great too and allowed for a shady spot to sit no matter the time of day.

Perfect for a small family!

The place had a warm and cozy feel and we felt right at home! Our kids especially enjoyed the upstairs loft with balcony overlooking the living room and also one outside. The place truly fits the name…hummingbirds in sight within minutes of hanging the feeder. It was such a joy and our family made many precious memories. The neighborhood is nice and quite and I would definitely recommend this place for a small family. We hope to visit again one day!

Perfect stay!

We loved Hummingbird Haven! The cabin was exactly as described and had everything we needed. Open concept kitchen, dining, living room made the cabin feel so spacious! I’ve read previous reviews stating the master bedroom mattress is uncomfortable. We found that not to be the case at all! The mattress is a bit firm, but comfy and didn’t stop us from getting a good nights rest! Would highly recommend!

Nice place, nice location

The only thing that didn’t work was the right front burner on the stove. Other than that, it was as advertised. Comfortable and cool cabin. Gas stove worked great. Stayed watm and enjoyed the sonw.

Such a neat cabin

A quiet little village only a few minutes from town and a short distance from Wolf Creek ski area. It was easy to drive to town for meals or shopping. Highly recommend to check out Buckaroos sleigh rides. And of course the hot springs are incredible. Lots of great shops in town - went to a shoe store that had a great selection. There was a circle drive for relatively easy entrance and exit from the property. The property has privacy behind it and seems some of the neighbors are full time but most houses were unoccupied. The road in front was safe to walk the dog and there was a wide open field in front of the property before the highway so it was very quiet. I would stay here again.

Classic Cabin

Wonderful small, beautiful cabin. Loved the back deck. Not looking at a house. Was a dry spell so could not hear any water. However, we loved to go into town, only short drive and walk along the river trail. Enjoyed the Healing Pool! Dining overlooking the river ;-) Neighbors close, however one apparently was not home and the other had a lot between. Convenient to have the circle drive and be able to walk in level without doing steps.

Nice Relaxing Stay

My husband and I spent a week here for a belated anniversary trip. The kitchen is well stocked and we made several meals in the cabin. There was plenty of extra bedding and blankets. It has that great, log cabin feel that embodies a stay in the Colorado mountains. For the most part everything was neat and in order. I did have a couple of cleaning issues which is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The cabin sleeps at least 4, but there were only 2 washrags in the bathroom. Not a huge deal since it was just my husband and me. Also the front door has a large window but there was no curtain or shade. I ended up hanging a bed sheet on some leftover curtain rod mounts to provide some privacy. The front and back door did not have any kind of screen door and I think this could be a problem in the summer since the cabin doesn't have air conditioning. We stayed the first week of November, so that wasn't a problem for us. The main source of heat is a gas, ceramic log stove in the living room. It provided a nice ambiance when we hung out on the couch. We did not use the second bedroom upstairs, so I don't know if keeping that bedroom warm would be a problem. The stove provided sufficient warmth for us on the main level. Overall, I would recommend the cabin and think is was a good value.

Great views and location

Check-in was easy using the door code sent to us. The kitchen was adequately stocked for our needs. The wrap around porch and upstairs balcony gave us gorgeous views and cool temps. The bed wad very comfortable. Our only complaint was there was no body soap in the bathroom and only 2 washcloths. Since we brought our own soap, and we were only there 2 nights, we didn't reach out to the property manager about this. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Colorado Cabin

This cabin has a great location close to many outdoor attractions and recreation including hiking, fishing and skiing. Just minutes from Pagosa Springs, CO where natural hot springs are the big attraction. The property is in a nice neighborhood with a fishing pond and a nice walk to the river, and a beautiful bird and deer population. The cabin is cozy and comfortable, access was easy and secure. The property is need of a good cleaning and organization. I was never able to access TV (4 remotes and nothing would connect) or WiFi service (followed directions provided explicitly, no luck), so VERY limited access for communication. Good thing I like to read and I am easily entertained and an adult. Kids and family may have more expectation and demands. I traveled with my dog, who was welcomed and comfortable in the location. Spent the time hiking in the area, and enjoyed an art festival in Pagose Springs. A major road work project is underway in Pagose, making traffic a little congested, but only temporary (2026?). Visited Chimney Rock National Monument and explored much of the sites in the area. The best of Colorado!

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was absolutely perfect, great location and neighborhood just outside Pagosa. It was very clean, great set up and amazing views. Loved feeding and watching the hummingbirds! Huggly recommend staying here!

LeRoy was born and raised in Colorado and Mary moved to Denver from Indiana after graduating from college. Both LOVED Colorado….LeRoy was a cowboy/bullrider and Mary was an avid skier.
A business opportunity of a lifetime took us to Florida in 1981 but our dream was always to return to the southwestern part of Colorado when we retired. We are living out that dream now by spending as much time as we can at Hummingbird Haven and making many wonderful memories with our grandchildren, family and friends.. When we are not at our beautiful log cabin, we love sharing it with others.

The Pagosa Springs area offers many adventure opportunities, all of which our entire family enjoys: mountain biking, skiing, horseback riding, camping, hiking, rafting, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, golfing and fishing. And, if we don’t feel like exercising, we can sit back, relax, and enjoy the surroundings. This area has some of the most beautiful scenery found anywhere in the world.

Hummingbird Haven is away from all the hustle and bustle and yet only 17 miles from Wolf Creek Ski area and 5 miles from downtown Pagosa Springs where there are many restaurants and of course the healing waters of the Hot Springs. The San Juan River and San Juan mountains are right out the back door to enjoy and so are the many hummingbirds in the summertime.
