Rosemary Beach

Area was beautiful, house in great condition. Great space for my family of 5 to spread out in. Didn’t love that we only got 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 5 day stay with 5 people. Also there were no cleaning supplies to keep up with cleaning. Also no chairs or umbrella for beach. We also had to bring our own beach towels, took up a lot of space in our luggage.

We really enjoyed our stay. This rental has great space for our family of 4. The bunk beds were a big hit. Great kitchen set up and having the ability to do laundry was very helpful.

Nice stay

Overall stay was great. Would recommend investing in more rugs throughout the rental property. With hardwood throughout, there are no rugs except for in the guest bedroom.

Beautiful, Spacious House, Awesome Quiet Location!

This house was so beautiful and spacious, short walk to the square and pool. Loved the view of the green space, and it was a BONUS to have bikes too! They provided ample amount of towels, toiletries, laundry detergent! We had everything we needed, and had a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway

Absolutely amazing. This was our first time visiting Rosemary and I couldn’t have asked for more. Although this property isn’t beach front, I thoroughly enjoyed riding my bike (provided by the condo !!) to the beach every day, up and down 30A and around the cute neighborhood. Away from the scuffle of the town, it was private and perfect. Highly recommend for a little getaway.

Check in was great, very clean, great location. The dishwasher did not work and we called twice. The oven door would not close so we had to put a piece of furniture in front of the door for it to stay on. Other than the kitchen issues, great place.

Nice Stay at Front Row House

House is located at the back of Rosemary Beach, about an 8 minute walk to the beach. Parking area with multiple slots is in the back. Neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Furnishings in living room need updating and show some wear on them. House was light on some amenities. (Only one soap in bathroom, only one face towel) Back Door needs painting. Had a nice stay, but it could be great with a few minor updates.

A few things

1. Directions in book on how to operate TV 2. Fix laundry door on hinges 3. Floor needed to be mopped. 4. Need more mugs. Master bed height was fine for us but could be a problem if more elderly. Liked already having the bikes, beach chairs all taken care of. We like the lack of clutter and found unit comfortable. Also trash can area needs to be marked. Our neighbors piled theirs in the parking by the AC😢

Decent space but nothing great

Had general issues with washer/dryer working. Candy on floors when we arrived that had been presumably missed by cleaning. Three roaches and two spiders in the home on the first night and neither tub nor shower drained AT all. So disgusting. A tiny bit of Draino or Liquid Plumr could have done the trick - I guess no one bothered to check that out. House is in good location and we enjoyed the enclosed porch since we had young children.

Relaxing vacation

This was our 5th or 6th vacation to Rosemary Beach. The weather could have been a bit warmer, but we really enjoyed the walks on all of the boardwalks through the community and sitting on the dune walkovers in the afternoon to read on the warmer days. The flat was comfortable. Couple of downsides other than weather were 1. all of the construction noise next door. Jackhammer constant one day and really loud noise and 2. no cable or internet for the first 6 days (we arrived on Sat. and did not get internet wifi or cable until Thursday). Both of these items are largely out of the control of the owner, but disapointing. Overall we had a good time and we will return.

Enjoyment with issues

Check-in and Communications with Jacqueline were top-notch; she is a keeper for sure! Neighborhood was beautiful. The beach was wonderful. Inside: neighborhood WiFi very poor for phone and TV. TV very erratic and virtually useless. It is a bit worn down. Porch Bannister broken. Kitchen cabinet door hanging; chip on bathroom sink. Lamp shade holders loose. Two rolls of toiler paper for 4 people for 4 days. No bars of soap. Mold on portions of primary bathroom walls. Stove top and sink had stuck food on them.

Enjoyed it at first, and then the Bugs & Construction took over.

Roaches, silver fish, and then BED BUGS!!! The property manager sent a representative out who confirmed the awful bed bug infestation. We left the property early, and the customer service representative assured us we would be "taken care of". 1 week later, the supposed "boss" called my wife to tell her there were no bed bugs. We have dozens of pictures of them and met with a representative who confirmed it. Manager says a company tested them. Well, pictures don't lie. 30A Cottages has been extremely SHADY. We have had to contact an attorney. Very sad because we LOVE Rosemary Beach and have stayed here for almost a decade.

Excellent value; luxurious stay!

My husband and I just returned from a trip to Rosemary Beach where we stayed here with one other couple. Upon arrival, we were floored with the amenities provided (L'Occitane soaps!) and the fact that this unit looked even nicer in person than in the pictures. We figured we should probably just stay here forever and I immediately thought it deserved 7 stars instead of 5. This was the perfect size for two couples...we think if we had children (1-2), it may have been a good size for that as well. The beds, bathroom, living room, and kitchen were all fantastic. Very convenient to have a washer/dryer set. A few things that the owners may want to work on, though: stainless steel pots and pans were such a pain to cook with and then subsequently try to clean. Non-stick surfaces would have been much better. Also, the description indicates that there are two king beds, but the smaller bedroom is a queen, not a king. The shower in the master bathroom didn't drain well and that was a little concerning. Finally, may be helpful to include a map of Rosemary Beach (I know it's on the website, but a print out would have been nice) and instructions for all of the remote controls. We have all decided we are going to make this a yearly tradition, and this unit will definitely be something we look into again!

Great location but property really needs repair and refresh

We love Rosemary Beach and have stayed here at least 8 or 9 times for a vacation, and at least once or twice before in this specific property. Since our previous stay in this home, the flat has gone downhill and needs substantial work. When we arrived, we found only 3 forks, 5 teaspoons and 1 wine glass in the cupboards. Many of the dishes and glasses are chipped or cracked, so we set all of those on a higher shelf and worked with what was left. But the kitchen was well-equipped with good pots, pans, and simple appliances. Walls and woodwork need cleaning or paint. Stovetop needs good cleaning. Wobbly lamp in master bedroom, ugly patch on inside of door to master bath, mildew/mold in shower in master bath and black dirt came out of bathtub faucet when we tried to use it. Water damage in ceilings of both bathrooms. Front porch is in bad condition, with railings falling apart and rotting in sections, very dirty (we had to wash everything to just sit down) and cabinet that is broken and would not close. Many other dingy, broken or crooked items or shlocky repairs that just look tacky. Bed was very comfortable for sleeping. . We love Rosemary Beach, the flats and this particular location, but the property needs work both by the condo association for the exterior and owner on the interior. The property manager did promptly reply to our concerns on silverware and wine glasses, but the other issues are not things that are just a simple fix. This is not the quality that you expect in Rosemary Beach or from the photos. The property manager mentioned that she thought that the owner was going to do major work next fall or winter. We hope so, because we would love to stay here again after they catch up on long-deferred maintenance and repairs.

The Good and the Bad

Overall, we had a wonderful time at the Front Row Rental. With this being our third trip to Rosemary, we were excited to venture towards the back side of the community. It is a great location and just a 4 minute walk to the beach with covered pathways all the way. We loved being on the ground floor this time, makes unpacking so easy since the parking spaces are right next to the condo... major plus! The space come with 4 bikes which saved us money renting two more. I cannot rave more about the rental company, 30a Cottages.Jacklyn went above and beyond for all my requests, this trip was a surprise for a friend, and they decorated and champagne ready for our arrival. Thank you! There are only a few opportunities that could make our stay complete. The bedrooms are dimly lite, which could make getting dressed in the evening harder. The guest bedroom doesn't have any mirrors or dresser, which makes staying 6 days difficult. I would have to say the BIGGEST PROBLEM on the stay would be the renters upstairs. We arrived on a Wednesday and on Friday at 4pm we started hearing some running around from the kids upstairs. Thinking this would not last all weekend we brushed it off since we love how family oriented Rosemary is. Unfortunately the noise got worse and worse over the stay and started at 5:45 am EVERYDAY! The kids would run from one side of the condo to the next, so there was no quite space in our rental. Let me be clear, this wasn't one child barely running... it sounded like a stampede of little ones screaming and running all over the place. We tried calling the concierge who sent security up but that changed nothing, the only time we got silence was at around 9:30pm when they went to bed. I would suggest for future inquires of this space, you rent when school is still in session!! This will completely effect your relaxation and whole stay if the house is occupied upstairs. We are coming back to Rosemary in October, but will really consider going to this same location if upstairs is booked.

Perfect for the Beginning of Summer Trip

We loved staying here. Back of Rosemary and quieter. Had everything we needed. The only thing that would have made it better for us is if we could have brought our fur babies but it was a perfect place and we loved it!!

Walkable community

It was nice because we had 2 couples, if one wanted to sleep in and the other go walk on the beach or go grab coffee everything was easily walkable. We didn't even use the bikes mainly done alot of walking. House was very nice for the price for sure. We read some bad reviews about the beds but they were very comfortable. Their was some noise above us the last night but was not too bad. Would stay here again.

Exactly as expected

We had a great visit, have been loving 30a since i was a kid. Condo was just what we hoped it would be.

Wonderful!

We loved staying at this house! It's the perfect size for a family of four, and the location was wonderful! We felt so safe with our teenagers riding their bikes to and from the beach. Great experience!

What my 3 YEAR OLD found...

PROS: Plenty of space for our family of four. Shops, restaurants, and pools are very close. Beach was a bit of a walk, but nice. CONS: Multiple guns were left by the previous tenant, one of which was discovered by our-three-year old. Fruit flies occupied our kitchen, living room, and occasionally my cup of coffee. Multiple roaches had to be disposed of in the few days we were there. Some of the outdoor furniture was broken, and some of the porch area appears to have rotted away. We tried to contact the property manager to confirm that the previous residents knew that the police had picked up their guns. We left a voicemail, but we never received a call back. This made us very nervous, since we did not want the previous tenants coming back thinking that they may still be on property.
