Aivan King's Bayn alapuolella syvänmeren laguunilla sijaitseva Casa Del Sol on yksi harvoista Crystal Riverin lähiöistä, joka laillisesti sallii lyhytaikaisen loma-asunnon vuokrauksen. Casa Del Sol on henkilökohtainen lomakotimme. Kun tuli sisustamisen aika, menimme hauskaan, tyylikkääseen Karibian tunnelmaan, joka oli täynnä merenneito- ja mustekalahuoneita, ja loistavasta baarialueesta, jotka kaikki olivat trooppisten koralli-, sitruuna- ja teal-sävyjä. Harkitsemme huolellisesti kodin kaikkia elementtejä. Suunnittelimme, varastimme ja sisustimme kodin vieraamme mielessä. Ensiapupaketeista rantapyyhkeisiin olemme yrittäneet miettiä kaikkea mitä tarvitset, emmekä riisuta määrää tai laatua. Huoltotiimimme ja siivoushenkilöstömme ovat fantastisia. Jos jokin rikkoutuu, korjaamme sen ja koti on tahraton. Meillä on korkeat vaatimukset, ja uskomme kohtelevan vieraitamme niin kuin haluaisimme saada kohtelun lomallamme. Pubihuoneessa on ainutlaatuinen juomabaari, joka on valmistettu regeneroidusta puusta Etelä-Amerikasta. Mahlaa neljä nahkabaarituolilla ja pubipöytä, johon mahtuu vielä neljä.

Keittiössä on hyvin varustettu ruokia 12: lle, joukko pieniä laitteita, kuten rasvakeitin, röynnöpotti, tehosekoitin, fondue-potti ja runsaasti kattiloita, pannuja sekä tarjoiluastioita ja ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistettuja laitteita. Keittiössä on myös aamiaisbaari, johon mahtuu neljä. Ruokasalissa on ruokasali, johon mahtuu kuusi.

Kodissa on WiFi ja satelliitti-tv.

Casa Del Solissa voit kalastaa ja katsella manaatteja yksityisestä venelaiturista. Jos nautit kalastuksesta, alueella on runsaasti taimenta, snapperia, kobia ja punasimppua. Ammattimaisia oppaita on saatavana kalastusretkiä varten. Kajakit voivat pakata välipaloja, nousta vuokraamosi kajakkeihin - ja suunnata Kolmen sisarn kevään päälle - näkymäpäivää ja Manateen katselua varten. We had a great time! The house was amazing! Also the king bed in the room we stayed in was the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. We had a great vacation and so glad we picked this location.

Great place for a waterfront getaway

Stayed here for four nights with another couple and our two girls. The house is spacious, well equipped and very clean. Has a nice screened in pool. And the dock was great for taking our friend's boat to go scalloping. Would definitely recommend.

Fun in the sun

We enjoyed our stay at Casa del sol! The home is absolutely beautiful and well appointed. Teri was fabulous to work with. We enjoyed the pool, kayaking to Three Sisters Springs & Hunter Springs Park, fishing with Capt Kyle Messier, and snorkeling with manatee! We will definitely return!

Great River access

This location is prime with respect to River access for boating. The property is clean and excellent for entertaining. The property owners are courteous and helpful. The dock is a floating type which is great for mooring your boat. You don’t have to worry about dock lines due to tide change.

Carefree WATERFRONT Living at it's best.

Loved my stay in this home. Very cozy and supplied with everything you need. The view is spectacular, and so much to do. Step out the back door to to a nice pool and hot tub, with a shaded area for comfort. Enjoy the Life on the water. Bring your boat, tie it at your own dock, and fish whenever you like. The whole family will enjoy this property. You definitely will not want to leave.

Great vacation!

A wonderful time was had by the entire family. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock every day. The house comes very well stocked with soap, paper towels, toilet paper, beach towels etc. the pictures online do not do the house justice. It is just lovely. We saw manatees almost every day off the dock and even caught some crabs. I would definitely recommend this house and plan to book here again in the future. Host was very responsive!

Scallop Trip 2023

Nice House on canal near river, House smelled clean upon arrival and Pool was crystal clear. Were a couple of issues, Front doorknob was broken, and house had a roach issue. Also watch dog neighbor filed an unwarranted complaint. Will be looking for another Location for next year's trip.

Wonderful vacation rental

Casa De Sol was just as described. We had a wonderful vacation. Loved the location and so did the manatees and a little alligator. We used the kayaks provided and were easily able to be on the water. The pool and hot tub were a nice way to wind down the day. The home is very spacious and laid out in such a way that there are many areas for people to relax in. The master bath shower was the talk of the family with its two rain shower heads. We have already passed on the name of this wonderful home to additional family! Thank you for such a great week!

Casa Del Sol in Crystal River

We spent a week at Casa Del Sol the end of July. The home was exactly as described - clean, thoughtfully supplied right down to the beach towels and extra pillows and blankets, great location just below Kings bay and a short boat ride to the Gulf, owners were wonderful and the scallops were plentiful. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and beautiful view. The video and book lending library were a nice touch. Kids enjoyed the kayaks and fishing pools. They caught several nice catfish right off the dock. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms met our needs just fine. All in all, a great vacation and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful house, great location for an extended family Thanksgiving

Casa del Sol is a lovely house situated directly on the water in a dog-friendly neighborhood, perfect for a large group that does not mind sharing bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked for meals in, including Thanksgiving (which we purchased pre-cooked from Publix), and the local restaurants we sampled were very good. We used the kayaks one day and rented a pontoon boat on another and drove it right up to the dock before heading out on the river for fishing, where we caught snapper and snook - our son also fished directly from the dock for hours, catching a bunch of catfish. We saw many manatees and a large variety of birds, both in the river and at Three Sisters Springs. I would not hesitate to visit again!

Crystal River - Manatees

The home was perfect for our 3 families with 2 grandchildren, (10, 12). Very comfortable and interior clean. We enjoyed the pool and kayaking. Getting in and out of kayaks can be tricky as there is no ladder or kayak launch on the dock. Fortunately we had 3 men available to assist the ladies. This is a great house and we definitely recommend and would consider staying here again. Even though summer is the off season for manatees there were plenty to be seen. We made lots of memories.

Winter Get-away from WI

Considering the temperatures were in the 20's the night before we arrived, we had some great weather while we were in FL. The accommodations were very nice. I did all the cooking in house the kitchen was a very well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the hottub and used it a lot. The solar panels for the pool never warmed it up much due to the cold temperatures before we arrived. We kayaked, hiked in the area, fished, swam with the manatees, and had a great time. The home is spacious and in a very nice location. We had a few challenges and they were handled quickly by the manager. My family would definitely return to this home.

Awesome experience!!

We stayed here with a total of 9 people. The house was well equipped with everything needed. Lots of kitchen utensils, water toys, blankets and towels. We really enjoyed the outdoor area and easy access to open water. The wind pushed the grass around the dock some days which got sucked into our jetskis but we were able to manage. The furniture in the home was very comfortable! I do recommend carefully reading the sleeping arrangements if traveling with a house full of adults. The post of the home is accurate but be sure to read the bed sizes and so forth so there are no surprises for the sleeping situations. We did see some manatees around the dock and overall had an awesome time. We would definitely recommend this home!

Great Stay - Enjoyed the Renovations

It's been a few years since we stayed at this house. When we needed a reservation at the last minute, Jan and Teri were more than accommodating. They quickly responded to my e-mails and we had the place booked in no time! They made sure the house was in order well before we arrived and checked in to make sure our stay was going well. The house has been recently renovated and everything was in great condition. All the appliances are new. The kitchen was fully equipped compared to other rentals we've stayed at. There was also an extra fridge and deep freeze in the garage. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. The boat dock fit our 27 ft Ameracat boat. The dock is at the end of the canal and at extreme low tide we had to be a little careful maneuvering. There was a fish cleaning station and hoses nearby to rinse off the boat and gear. The description says the driveway fits a boat trailer and 3 cars. We could have squeezed in a 4th car without being on the grass or in the way of the neighbors. Jan and Teri went above and beyond to help us secure the reservation at the last minute. They were quick to respond to e-mails and easy to get a hold of by phone. The house had everything we needed and more. We'll definitely rent this house in the future.

The home was beautifully decorated and so clean! The layout of 2BR on each end was perfect and plenty of room in between. The updated kitchen was a dream and well equipped-we loved the dishes :)The kids loved the pool and we all spent a lot of time fishing on the dock and enjoying the view. What a great family vacation.!! The owner responded almost immediately with any small concerns that we had.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Sol! The house is set up well for our group of 6. The house was very clean, pool was spotless and the floating dock was perfect for our larger 30ft center console. The kitchen was outfitted with all cookware and utensils needed. The host contacted me while on my way to the residence to give me all information needed for our stay.We couldn't have been happier with the residence and the host. If you have a boat you're bringing we highly suggest Casa Del Sol. We've made this trip for scalloping 3 years now and not having to launch the boat every boat day was a major plus. The residence is at the very back of a small inlet which stays very calm and plenty far enough away from boat wakes.We talked to multiple neighbors who we encountered walking the neighborhood and all were very nice.Thank you for helping make our vacation even better!

Such a comfortable place that felt like home within moments of getting there! Home had everything we could possibly want and the owner was super quick to check in with us and respond to anything we needed. Would stay there again! Loved the boat dock, river access and view!

The house was clean and comfortable. It had all the comforts of a home and was well equipped for cooking. Enjoyed the pool and water access from the dock. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was beautiful! Very convenient to dock the boat outside and head out to scallop. Great place to stay!

Great waterfront home

Was super clean and very comfortable. We saw dolphins, manatees and an alligator off the dock. The enclosed pool was great. Overall one of the more comfortable homes I have stayed in. Very well appointed.

Where would we ever begin to tell someone our story. The truth be told, we are two couples, in our "golden years", who simply decided to go in together to invest in a property that we could provide for other's enjoyment and occasionally sneak away from our busy lives to enjoy ourselves. Thus began our search for a vacation rental. Having fallen in love with the Crystal River area, it looked like a perfect place for our vacation rental adventure to unfold. So, in February of 2015, we began a quest to find a home that would meet our needs as well as the needs of our guests.

Knowing the value of a great location, the property had to be well situated just of the main channel in Crystal River. It also had to have a pool, at least three bedrooms, a dock and a garage. We believe we found the perfect home with Casa Del Sol. With a little finesse and our special attention to detail, we knew it would not only meet our requirements but exceed them. From the moment you walk into your vacation rental, it is our sincere desire that you feel this way too. We hope you visit often and enjoy your stay at Casa Del Sol!

It is located half-way between the gulf and the restaurants and Springs. It will complete your check off list of wants. It offers: Four Fishing Kayaks. A 24-foot dock which easily accommodates two boats and a fish cleaning station with running water. Everything is new, clean and bright with a fun tropical flair. Wildlife is abundant - with Manatees right at our dock. The neighborhood is safe, clean and quiet. A great area for evening and morning walks or bike riding.
