Se ei ole paljon parempaa kuin tyyli ja läheisyys. Hydrangea Hill (noin, 1898) sijaitsee rauhallisella kadulla alle puolen kilometrin kävelymatkan päässä Lenoxin keskustasta ja vain kahden mailin päässä Tanglewoodin pääsisäänkäynnistä. A lovely home for a sweet retreat

We stayed with friends over a (rainy) long weekend and were very comfortable. The house was furnished and decorated beautifully, had state of the art appliances and very high quality dishes, glassware, pots & pans, etc. We were delighted with our stay.

Always a home run!

We spent another fabulous 9 days at Hydrangea Hill! And then booked it again before we left for next year. Alan is the best host. And the house is everything you could hope for. Spacious downstairs with fantastic kitchen - with all the things you need: dishwasher, great stove, great coffee maker, appliance, knives, dishes, silverware. The living is so comfortable with a giant Smart TV and comfy couch and chairs and ottomans. Bedrooms are great. Beds, pillows, linens are top of the line. Bathrooms are great. Shower pressure is heaven. Air conditioning is great and quiet. The house is beautifully decorated and clean. The neighborhood is charming and quiet. You can walk to town. Oh and the WiFi is strong and reliable. 5 stars is not enough. This house and host are just the BEST!

Wonderful Stay

Alan was wonderful to rent from. He is communicative, responsive and helpful. The house was charming and designed thoughtfully for guests in mind. The beds were super comfortable! The house is 5 minutes from Lenox, which makes going to town so easy. We had some inclement weather, and Alan was gracious and kind, offering us to stay an extra night until it was safe to return home.I highly recommend this getaway!

Great stay

Such a nice, cozy home! Plenty of room for family and very comfortable beds Extremely well stocked from kitchen amenities to extra bedding and towels. Host was great at communication and very helpful. House was in nice area and walkable to shops and restaurants .We’ve stayed at several VRBOs over the years and this one was one of the most comfortable. I would recommend to others.

March Reunion

We had a wonderful time at Hydrangea Hill. The kitchen island and table were a perfect setting to eat and converse. Very comfortable couches and beds, and a really nice living room TV. It was a little cold to be outside on the porch, but could only imagine how nice it is in the warmer months. Perfect location to ski at Jiminy Peak or Bosquet, walk to the all the shops in Lenox, and a quick drive to Stockbridge, Lee, or Pittsfield. We are hoping to return again soon! Thank you Alan!

Perfect Family Getaway

The home is beautifully maintained, super comfortable and roomy for a family, and within walking distance to downtown Lenox. We had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter's 30th birthday. The kitchen is well stocked and a joy for a good cook. The owner has thought of every detail, and is very accessible and helpful. We will definitely be back in the summer.

Hydrangea Hill is over the top amazing!

If there were a VRBO host ranking higher than Premier, Hydrangea Hill’s Alan should be the first to receive it. Some context: Twice a year, my foursome -- The ParTee Gurlz -- enjoy a 3-day golf getaway -- generally in New England and sometimes in warmer climates on the East Coast. So, we've experienced several rentals over the past few years. While all our hosts and accommodations have been enjoyable, the Hydrangea Hill property was a stellar experience.Alan went above and beyond to make us feel like valued guests: from his home’s beautifully manicured gardens and plantings to the welcoming bottle of Prosecco to the Hydrangea Hill tote bag. The property was immaculate and more than roomy enough for our group. Bedding and linens were generous and high quality. All windows and window treatments were in working order. And, the host’s attention to detail even extended to the bathrooms that offered individual makeup remover packs.This antique home has retained its historical charm, yet affords every modern amenity and is beautifully furnished and decorated. Best of all, it’s in walking distance to downtown Lenox shops and restaurants - the best of which recommended by Alan in his thoughtful welcoming notes.

Everything about our stay and this house was 5 stars! What a beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood. Walk to town. House has gorgeous furniture, appliances, linens. AC, big TV. Spotlessly clean. Just perfect. Alan the host was super helpful and thoughtful. A+++. We hope to come back often.

Excellent home for relaxing family vacation

We enjoyed our stay. The house was as advertized and well taken-care off, and the owner was very proactive and supportive. Easy walk to downtown Lenox, and lots of other Berkshire cultural and leisure opportunities within a short drive.

Meticulously maintained

Great visit over Presidents Weekend. Conveniently located to many Berkshire attractions, which was key because our group was interested in different activities. The house was immaculate and comfortable for our group of 5. We may return this summer.

Wonderful stay at Hydrangea Hill

The home is wonderfully appointed and beautifully maintained. It is very conveniently located near the Lenox town center and ski areas (Bousquet, Butternut, Jiminy), as well as too many great restaurants to try during our short stay. A very relaxing visit, we hope to come again soon!

Perfect stay

We met friends in Lennox for the weekend and this was the perfect house! It is decorated very tastefully, bedrooms are very comfortable and the well stocked kitchen with its huge island was ideal for gathering. We walked into town and were just short drive to hiking trails and other attractions in the area. The host was wonderful - communicative, flexible and genuinely wants guests to have the best experience possible.

It was a positive experience from beginning to end. The property owner, Alan was gracious and thorough in all communications. The house was beautiful and pristine inside and out. Alan’s attention to detail was extremely impressive. We had everything we needed and more!

For nearly twenty-five years I worked for the State Legislature (Assembly) in Albany, NY. Every chance I had I would visit the beautiful Berkshires and participate in all the area had to offer. After moving to Florida twenty years ago, and spending portions of each summer in the Berkshires, my wife and I agreed how lovely it would be to own a home there and both use it ourselves and share it with people who also loved the area.

My wife spent a week in April 2013 looking at every house for sale in the area, and after seeing Hydrangea Hill, knew this was the house she wanted. Most of the end of that year and a good portion of 2014 was spent transforming the house into the home she envisioned. Hydrangea Hill was born. Unfortunately due to a catastrophic illness, she passed away not actually getting to spend a summer and fall in the house, but she did see it completed and for a brief period, participated in very happy gatherings of friends and family at the house. I want to fulfill her wish to share our good fortune by offering the premises to individuals, couples and families where they could feel like our guests, not renters. If I had a motto for Hydrangea Hill, it would be...”Come, Relax, Enjoy!”
P.S. All the animal pictures downstairs and bird pictures in one of the guest bedrooms, were taken by my wife while on an African safari in 2008.
