Ocean Front suoraan rannalla - Ensiluokkaiset palvelut Tämä viehättävä, rannalla sijaitseva lomakoti on kivenheiton päässä hiekkadyynien ja valtameren surffailusta, joka sijaitsee Amelia-saaren rauhallisella North Beach -alueella. Ocean View with Sunrises and Moonrises...priceless!

The proximity to the beach and ocean was fantastic, beds were comfy, the Kitchen is well equipped. he location also has a park in walking distance and Salt Life Restaurant is also within walking distance. The morning views either from the deck, the Living Room, The Kitchen and even the Primary Bed were OUTSTANDING!

Great location

The rental is well worn and could be cleaner. It was a great location and the house layout was nice for our family. The view was great.I expected things like clogged up sinks, no stopper in the bath tub, missing light bulbs in overhead lighting, ripped outdoor seating as well as a lid on the outdoor garbage can to be addressed prior to our check in. The house feels neglected.

Great Home for Vacation

This is an older home, but there was nothing wrong with it. My husband and I stayed with our two adult children and their significant others. We enjoyed our long weekend. Only a small dirt road separated us from the beach. Pathway to the beach was directly in front of the home.

Delightful vacation spot

Ocean Glory was exactly as advertised, and a perfect spot for a small family gathering: 4 adults, and two young people. The location is unbeatable, looking out on the dunes and a wide, lovely span of beach. The bedrooms/beds were comfortable and well appointed, the living area attractive and comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked and more than adequate. The deck is a great plus, and it is nice to have beach chairs and umbrellas provided. This quiet part of Fernandina beach is near Fort Clinch State Park, and convenient to restaurants and other services, but very much has a neighborhood ambiance. We recommend it as a great spot for a beach getaway.

Location was excellent but unit was not very clean, no carafe for coffee maker, back door was fastened shut with an extension cord, no hand soap. Some lights didn’t work. Air conditioner barely kept the unit at 75 degrees.

Location is the very best

This is a great house in a wonderful location - if you want a 2 minute barefoot stroll to the beach and a wonderful view over the dunes to the ocean. This end of the beach is quiet and just what we wanted. The house itself is comfortable, but looking a little tired. The kitchen is skimpily equipped for such a big house. A refresh is due, I think.

Beautiful home, but had a rodent problem

Rodent droppings in several places, especially in the kids room. I was not comfortable with my son sleeping in that room. Our food was eaten by rodents. The property management refunded one day.

Disappointed

First, the positive - you can't beat the location of this property! The neighborhood is a nice beachfront area, and beach access is available right in front of the house. Unfortunately, the property was somewhat dirty, the only door to the outside porch (besides the front door) had a "Do Not Open" sign on it, which was unfortunate. The biggest issue is the water smelled like sulfur and was a complete turn off for the entire weekend. Showers were unpleasant, and we used bottled water for food cleaning and cooking. This was not disclosed prior to our arrival. Because of it we would not rent this property again.

Great location but…

The location was perfect but the place needs a lot of TLC. Dust covered everything including baseboards, a/c returns, and ceiling fans. The dinning room table and chairs were broken and the light fixtures did not work. The seating area outside is minimal at best with mixed matched chairs that don’t fit the table height. Don’t plan to use the grill because it was in horrible condition. Would not recommend this place until a lot of work is done to clean and repair.

Lovely home on beach

This cute hexagonal shaped house was very roomy for our family of 7. We only had to walk across a dirt frontage road and over the dunes path to get to the ocean. Sitting on the front balcony was nice. The house has lots of windows looking over the ocean. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Beach 2023

The view is awesome. The house is well lived in and clean, the yard has a sea turtle nest in the front. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. One thing we weren’t happy with, the third bedroom had no a/c and it was hot.

pros and cons

Pros-- The house and property are lovely. The location is fantastic. The living space and deck are both comfortable and cozy. The house is clean... Cons-- The bunk room doesn't seem to have its own air vent, making it hot to sleep in even when the rest of the house is quite cool. The kitchen cabinets could use some work-- many of them don't close; and according to my brother-in-law-the-cook, only one stove eye was really usable-- a couple of them only worked on high. We had a fun week hanging out together...

Beach house

The house was clean and decorated with great beach decor! AC worked well, fans in each room were helpful. Beds were comfy. Wonderful deck to view the ocean. So nice to be able to walk right to the beach in front of the house! However several things need to be addressed. Light bulbs are very dim especially in dining area and bedrooms. Door to deck has a broken lock and was locked with a bicycle lock for which no code was provided, until the property manager was reached by phone. For those guests who want to use the grill, please be aware--- a gas tank is NOT provided (actually there was a tank hooked up with no gas in it). I spoke twice to the property managers and was told we could purchase one at the Circle K! --very disappointing. Never had that happen before. Perhaps the owners might want to rethink that! Overall the house was great location, very peaceful, and comfortable.

Great location! Beautiful views. Home is spacious yet quaint. I did have to remind them to send me code to get in home but the property managers were quick to respond to any needs otherwise! Would definitely stay again

Unique house and fantastic location

Such a quaint house. It was perfect for me, girlfriend and three teenaged kiddos. Beach access couldn't be better. It's 20 yards to the beach access point from the property. The house is a bit older but is quite nice inside. Its round structure makes for incredible views from inside and from the surround deck. For the size of the house, the kitchen is roomy enough for two cooks in the kitchen. The living room is a smidge on the small side but it's not a large house to begin with. All five of us had plenty of space. It's beach walking distance (< 1/2 mile) to two beachside restaurants/bars.

Great vacation stay in fantastic location

We had such a great time on our vacation at this property. It was pretty comfortable for the 8 people that we had (6 adults and 2 kids) though several folks did have to share the room with multiple bunk beds which was a little bit of a squeeze). It has good amenities though there were some aspects of the property that could use a little maintenance (e.g. really wobbly bunk beds etc - all things that should be easy to square away). Great views of the water over the dunes (you can't really see the beach but you can see the water) and the beach access was VERY convenient. It is conveniently located near the grocery store and a short drive to the old town. Would definitely stay again.

Well Organized

This small home was extremely well organized with everything one could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable. It was perfect for a couple and would be likewise perfect for a family with children. The weather was cold and windy while we were there and coats a gloves were important for walks on the beach. The walkway to the beach was directly in front of the beach house. Allthough this is definitely a beach front home, because it is a one story home on pillars and the dunes are quite tall, it was not possible to actually see the beach. The view was of dunes or nearby beach houses. The checkin was different from some of the other VRBO's I have stayed at. The "keys"/code were not given until the afternoon of check in after the home was inspected for readiness. But all in all it was a pleasant place to stay.
