On 3 tarinoita. Asuinalue on 2. kerroksessa iso keittiö, makuuhuone ja puoli kylpyamme. Loistava merinäköala jotka eivät ole tukossa, koska se unohdetaan tenniskenttä ja viheralue. Kolmannessa kerroksessa on 2 makuuhuonetta - päällikkö, jossa on king-vuode, kylpyamme ja oma parveke. Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on 2 kuningattaret ja täysi kylpyamme. Alimmassa kerroksessa on kuningatar, kerrossänky (double / twin combo) ja 2 kaksoset. Tällä alueella on myös baari, ja se sopii hyvin viihdyttäväksi, kun meluohjeisto alkaa kello 22.00. Myös 2 auton autotalli, jossa pyykkiä.

Worst experience ever!

We were never provided with the necessary entry forms and home access information (after requesting multiple times through the week prior to our departure). VRBO was not at all helpful in resolving, forcing us to wait on hold for over an hour without any assistance, we finally hung up and started banging on neighboring doors. Luckily one neighbor had the access code. We basically had to break in to the property. Ridiculous. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

A wonderful getaway

Hugh was wonderful and so was his house! Though there were a few hiccups (it rained, cold and no wood, no hot water), Hugh and the management were right on top of it. The next day, we got wood, the water was wiped up, and the sun came out. Hugh was great about following through and communication, and the house was well-stocked and spacious! We will for sure go back!

Just what we needed!

This house was perfect for our two families with plenty of room for everyone. I really like that we had access to the garage since we had a ton of surfboards and gear. Great place to stay!

Nice, big place to entertain 10 guests. We spent most of our time on the lower balcony sitting at the table. From the upper balcony you can check the surf. Hugh is very quick to respond to our request and was very helpful throughout. I highly recommend this VRBO.

We had a great experience over all! Hugh was always available by email during our entire stay. Only gripe was the hot water. We needed to run the water for 5 minutes before we got hot water. Other than that, an awesome stay!

Great house with lots of space to accommodate everyone. Great location. Lots of towels! Comfy beds. There were just a few minor inconveniences like no paper towels, dish soap, trash bags, light bulbs that were out and no propane for the grill. Otherwise a great stay!

Good house for families to share with kids but a major ant issue!

Ants, ants, ants! We stayed here in August with another family and all our kids. As soon as we checked in, there was an obvious ant situation. We were told it had been sprayed. But it was beyond a just spray some Raid situation. The ants were everywhere - coming out of the walls, in the entry, stairway, kitchen, bedrooms, even up the wall behind beds. We had to throw out a lot of our food the first day then put all our food in the fridge and a bin we had brought. We were constantly cleaning up and spraying. It was a major inconvenience and gross. We stayed because the other family hadn’t been to Mexico in fifteen years and we wanted to show them a good time. I notified the owner right away about the ant problem and he referred me to the property mgmt. company. He didn’t seem that concerned about it or even apologetic. All they could do is spray with Raid. We should’ve been warned that there was such a severe ant issue before we got there. Will not stay here again!

I went to UCSD inthe early 80's and often traveled to Baja/Rosarito. I loved the area and bought a home in 2006. Contrary to press stories, Baja is a terrific safe place to visit. I frequently joke that my biggest risk is getting run over by an aging ex-pat at the Rosarito Wal-Mart. I am 57 years old, travel extensively for work, and live here when I'm between assignments. I love the restaurants, activities, and night life. I also enjoy relaxing at the pool on an afternoon and the oceanfront hot-tub at night.

One of my best friends in college (UCSD) owns three homes in Gaviotas and that is how I was introduced to the community. It really is a safe, family friendly place to relax and enjoy the ocean.

Lastly, my Spanish is horrible but it makes no difference because all the local businesses speak English well. Even though many parts of Mexico can look "run-down" by US standards, the region is safe, fun, with great food and activities. And for those afraid of drinking the water, that is also largely a myth. For decades, I and many friends have eaten at countless places with only an extremely rare issue.

Miksi majoittaja valitsi tämän majoituspaikan

The development has several "layers". I am at the back of the development which means I get a bit more road noise at the back of the house. However, the houses are much larger and can accommodate up to 10 guests. The unique feature of my place is it overlooks a green area and a tennis court (which is brand new). So the views from my 2nd floor are unobstructed whereas most large homes in the rear look at rooftops from the 2nd floor. The 3rd floor master bedroom also has spectacular views.

With the tennis court below, you can always see when it's open. I often pick up games with other guests at Gaviotas and it's a great place to meet people. The pathway to the ocean is right in front of my house so there is easy access.

It's my home when I'm not away at work (not just a rental) so I try to keep everything there that I want for my own home. I only have nice quality linens (not the junk at many rentals) and take pride in my place being hospitable and welcoming. I also have things such as the fastest Internet I could buy with a separate dedicated cable line, a free US Phone with a US number (free calls in North America) and wifi streaming movies (Netflix and Prime Video) to the TV.

It is still Baja so the house may seem rustic by US standards although guests are always more than complimentary. For example, there is no central AC or heat. However, I put space heaters and fans in every room. However, the temperatures are always mild as the place is right on the Ocean and cooled by ocean breezes.
