Rantahotellin mökki, josta on upeita auringonlaskuja näkymät Chesapeake-lahdelle

Naapurissa sijaitsevassa bluffissa on näkymä Chesapeake Bayn kuuluisalle Susquehanna Flats -kadulle. Etupihamme tarjoaa 180 asteen näkymän lahdelle upeilla auringonlaskuilla. Alueella on maailmanluokan kalastus, rappaus ja vesiurheilu. Oletpa sitten purjehdusta tai moottoriveneilyä tai aivan kuin katsot veneiden kulkevan - tämä on oikea paikka sinulle. Myös luonnon ystävien paratiisi päivittäisillä kalju kotkien havainnoinneilla ja pesällä Osprey aivan etupihalla.

Mökissämme on kaksi makuuhuonetta ja parvi, joissa kaikissa on queen size-vuoteet - kaikki vuodevaatteet toimitetaan ja sisältyvät hintaan. Meillä on avoin hyttikonsepti, josta on näkymät vesille jokaisesta huoneesta. Olohuone, jossa takka, ruokasali, keittiö, jossa astianpesukone, täysi kylpyamme suihkulla, vesinäköala, oleskelualue, keskusilmastointi, pesukone / kuivausrumpu, WiFi, taulutelevisio ja stereot. Elk Neck State Park tarjoaa retkeily- ja maastopyöräilyreittejä, rantaleirintäalueita, majakkaa, veneluiskaa, julkista rantaa, upeita rantakallion varrella olevia vesinäkymiä ja on vain lyhyen 6 mailin ajomatkan päässä. Olemme kätevällä paikalla heti I-95: stä Philadelphian ja Baltimoren välillä - tunnin ajomatka pohjoiseen ja etelään. Washington DC: hen pääsee myös helposti 2 tuntia etelään meistä. Historiallinen Havre de Grace on aivan lahden toisella puolella, ja sinne pääsee helposti veneellä tai 20 minuutin ajomatkan päässä, jossa on paljon ravintoloita, majakka, kävelykierroksia, museoita ja ostosmahdollisuuksia. Olemme sijaitsee 20 mailin päässä Delawaren yliopistosta.

Great time

Great property and good location! Nice with basic paper supplies, cleaning supplies and seasonings. We used the grill and hot tub, and watched a sunset in those big chairs!

Couples getaway

We had a wonderful stay! Really enjoyed the eagles and osprey. The hot tub was amazing and the fire pit was nice to enjoy in the cold weather. All amenities were there that we needed, the location is great and the town is really cute. We will be back!

Cozy cabin

My friends and I wanted a relaxing getaway with beautiful views and that is exactly what we got. Sue was so wonderful and when there was a massive snowstorm expected to come on our arrival date, she offered to change the dates to accommodate us. Everything was wonderful and we had the best stay.

Relaxing Water View Retreat

You feel welcomed at the cabin immediately because of the water view and then the attention to detail inside the cabin. We enjoyed sitting at the water, watching sunsets over the water, walking to the beach, seeing eagles. Thank you Sue for all your great communication. We will want to come back.

2nd stay, gorgeous setting

Winter Ladies Weekend

We all had a great time at the cottage. It was very cozy, well cared for and loaded with personality. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to navigate. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace that was all ready to be lit upon arrival. It was the perfect spot to have cocktails, watch football, play games and catch up! The view of the bay was lovely while having morning coffee, watching the birds and admiring the sunsets. I highly recommend a visit!

So relaxing

We had a great two days here! House has everything you need. We really enjoyed the hot tub! We were lucky the weather was so warm and we could just sit outside all day looking at the water and end the day with gorgeous sunsets. We would definitely come back!

Beautiful getaway!

From the very beginning, the host was friendly, responsive and enjoyable to work with. The property was beautiful, had all amenities and was just as advertised. The neighborhood was quite and perfect for disconnecting from the day-to-day. Highly recommend this host and property.

Amazing Views

We had a great get-away for a few days with our friends. The cabin was in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views. We especially enjoyed using the fire pit while sitting in the comfortable Adirondack chairs overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. The owners were friendly and great to work with. Highly recommend!

Family time

Exactly as described with lovely sunsets , an inviting hot tub , short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and grocery stores. Enough room for 4-5 adults comfortably and nice space for dinner and board games on rainy days.

Beautiful Houses!

We rented both of Sue's amazing houses for a family getaway. The properties are amazing! The views are wonderful. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, with amazing bird watching. We cooked a lot of our meals, and the kitchens are well stocked with all the amenities. The crab room makes for a perfect dinner spot. Most importantly, all the beds are really comfortable. My family is already planning for a return trip.

Nothing short of amazing!

As soon as we arrived I wanted to message Sue and thank her for sharing such a special place with us. The views are breathtaking! We stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding nearby and the house had everything we needed. The “neighborhood” it’s in is great and all of the neighbors were wonderful. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked.

Great house, wonderful view

Like other reviewers, I have many good things to stay about our stay in Red Point, MD. My family very much enjoyed the home -- which was super comfortable and very well stocked. The host was courteous, friendly, and quick in all communications. The hot tub was great, and the view out front is really just wonderful. We had a nice time exploring the nearby area, too. Would definitely visit and stay there again.

Great Bay Getaway

When we had to attend a wedding nearby, We booked this cabin for the weekend. It was a great “base of operations” for our family to attend the activities. Although it mostly rained that weekend, we were still able to admire the bay views from the living room and deck when it dried out. The kitchen is well-stocked and the entire cabin is beautifully decorated. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Red Point Cabin. This was a well equipped and comfortable home with an inspiring water view! We also enjoyed using the hot tub and fire pit in the evenings and chilly mornings. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Sue and Mark!

Pre-thanksgiving getaway

This is a wonderful place to get away - which we did for 5 days right before thanksgiving. We stayed with our two adult children in this lovely cabin which is light (skylights), super clean and has lots of nice touches. Reading from the sunroom in the front of the house was stunning, and we utilized both the wood fireplace in the house and the firepit overlooking the bay to build memories. Sunsets from the hot tub were spectacular, and the number of games and puzzles provided were well used. We will be back. Thank you so much.

Perfect Chesapeake Sunsets

We had a lovely visit to Red Point in October. The house is just as pictured-cute and clean. Sue was a lovely host, quick to reply and provided everything from a stick of butter and condiments, a full kitchen to cook like a chef and plenty of firewood, games, towels and detergent. She even provided an oyster knife quickly to us when asked if there was one at the house. While it was just my husband and me, I couldn’t see more than another couple or a few kids staying, though it sleeps 6. Two rooms do have skylights so keep that in mind for sleeping. The cottages are close together but their area of land overlooking the bluffs across a tiny unpaved road really makes the property. There are chairs and a firepit for taking in the beautiful sunsets. Just a short walk, not even two cottages down, there is a common area with steps leading down to the water. The long dock was pulled in for the winter but we still fished from the dock that remained. You can also walk to the beach access down the road, which is probably great for the summer. The wood burning fireplace and star gazing from the hot tub were perfect for our nights and it’s a quiet community if you want to relax. We ventured to the Main Street of town a few times for lunch or dinner, fancy donuts and a take out Italian market. Other retail is not much further for a groceries, etc.. Sarge’s Bait shop was very informative and an easy hike to the lighthouse was great for a beautiful afternoon. A great stay!

Employed in the advertising industry most of our lives, my husband and I wanted a place to get away and de-stress - we found the perfect spot in our Red Point Cabin. Many years when we were dating, we camped at Elk Neck State Park and ventured to Annapolis on a friends boat. Super convenient and easy to get to quickly, we decided to plant roots here to raise a family. Our criteria was "no Aqua, no Sunset, no sale" We found the perfect best kept secret ever in North East Maryland.
