CasaLilli on paikka, jossa voit tuntea kodin turvallisuuden ja lämmön. Se on englanninkielisen perheen omistama ja hallinnoima, joten on helppo kommunikoida toiveitasi ja tarpeitasi.

Siinä on moderni ja erittäin tilava olo / ruokailuhuone, jossa on vuodesohva, jossa voi nukkua mukavasti kaksi, satelliitti-TV, DVD-soitin ja stereo-CD-soitin. The apartment was lovely and very clean, which i appreciated. Great space for us to visit as a family while on vacation. It is in a great location to restaurants and transportation options. We walked to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Mary Major Basillica. Would definitely stay here again. Marmi, the host, was very helpful throughout our stay.

Wonderful location, just a few blocks away from the Colosseum and Roman Forum. There were lots of great restaurants and a grocery store within a few-minutes walk of the flat. Our host, Marmi, was wonderful. She quickly responded to all of our questions and needs; she even arranged two great days with a private tour guide on short notice. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location and lovely, clean apartment within walking distance to restaurants and the Colosseum, with a gelato place on the corner. The friendly host was there upon arrival to answer our questions and give us suggestions. We were able to use the washing machine and hang clothes to dry on her terrace. We had a very nice stay and felt at home at her property.

Needed a place to stay while in Rome with my son. The hostess was helpful in arranging a car to pick us up from the airport. She met us at the apartment and showed us around our home for the next 4 days. She shared some tips for getting around Rome as well as some restaurant recommendations. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable! WiFi was included, and we felt safe in the neighborhood. Two blocks from the Colosseum- can’t beat the location!

Our stay excellent. All amenities in kitchen salt, oil, sugar etc. very convenient even the coffee. Location very close to Coliseum, restaurants and 24 hour market. Central location but out of the hustle and bustle of the main area. Finally the host was awesome!! My back went out and suffered severe sciatica leaving me with excruciating pain and in mobilized. In an unknown country I had no one except for the host. She helped trying to locate care for me, made follow up calls and I had to stay 2 extra days. She also was helping us locate lodging. Marmi was a blessing it made us feel we had someone in a country that was unknown to us. Definitely recommend !!

Great communication

Wonderful location near the colosseum. We were offered scheduled rides from the airport and to the train station when we left. Everything was clean and they were very easy to work with. Some of the best restaurants were just around the corner and for a good price. We will be back!

Great stay in Rome

We had a wonderful experience at this flat. It had everything we needed plus the washer was perfect. The owner scheduled transfers and tours for us. This was so helpful and I would book these services again. There are lots of restaurants close by. We walked from Vatican City and to all the other sites. I highly recommend this flat.

Another great stay

This was our second time at this apartment. There are plenty of restaurants and a store close by. The gelato shop was wonderful right next to the apartment. We love this location and size of the apartment. Yes, we did hear some construction next store which was out of the hosts control but it didn’t cause us any problems. I recommend this apartment, perfect for our family and the host even had updated furniture since our last stay. Thanks!!

Celio apartment

Typical Rome apartment, not fancy but pretty much everything you need. Fabulous host, arranged airport rides, was there when I arrived, treated me to breakfast at a local cafe, always responsive. Very quiet neighborhood but 3 blocks to Colosseum, 1/2 block to great gelato store, many good restaurants, nearby market. Highly recommended.

Close to Collosseum

This terrific property is a short walk to the Colloseum, the metro and convenient bus links to anywhere in Rome you wish to go. The spacious apartment is very clean and well equipped. It looks exactly like the listing. Our host kindly arranged airport transfers for us when we arrived. Fabiola warmly welcomed us and made sure we were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property!

Great Rome location

The apartment is in an excellent location for visiting the Colosseum, Forum, Circa Maximus and major churches. The bathrooms were an issue. The larger bathroom only had a bathtub, and the second bathroom was extremely small. That bathroom has a small shower with a pressure less shower head, and paint peeling from the ceiling. The owner is very cordial and helpful.

A Great Find

Marmi was an excellent host, checking in with us before we arrived, arranging an airport transfer on short notice, and making sure our stay went well. The apartment was spotless and comfortable. The two bedrooms were each a good size, airy with high ceilings. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we enjoyed having breakfast with the doors open to the courtyard terrace. The apartment is close to the Colosseum, in a neighborhood with shops, restaurants, and a good grocery store. It’s close to the metro and buses, but we also enjoyed walking to other neighborhoods. Marmi’s apartment was a great place to land in Rome, and we hope to return.

Just Fabulous!

Everything about this lovely apartment was perfect for us. The little touches made a big difference - shampoo and shower gel, plenty of cleaning products and coffee for the machine. The place was absolutely spotless, one of the cleanest rentals I have ever stayed in. Even in 30⁰ heat, if we kept the shutters closed through the day, the apartment stayed lovely and cool. The neighbourhood was very quiet, even though it was so close to the heart of the historic district. There were some lovely cafes and restaurants close by and the highlights of Rome were all within walking distance. Marmi was the perfect host. She was there to greet us and made sure we were ok with everything before leaving us. She was only a message away if we needed her for anything and was very helpful. I can highly recommend Marmi's place to anyone staying in Rome. It really is just perfect.

Review #10692958 “Treasure Found in the Heart of Rome- Too bad there is not a 10 STAR option :)” This wonderful apartment in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by everything you need! Grocery, restaurants, pharmacy, shopping, Gelato all within walking distance! It is a quick walk to the Coliseum , and a beautiful walk all the way to the Vatican, with all the history and shopping in-between. The owner Marmi Fuentebella was a true diamond for a foreign traveler not familiar with Rome. She set my daughter and I up with a wonderful , personal tour guide Maria Teresa Ferrari, who actually tailored the tour based on what we wanted to see and learn. We were able to skip some of the more difficult lines and processes, it was all sorted for us. It was so worth the few extra $ from both a time, relationship and target perspective. We felt like we were with family. Another special event Marmi set up for us was a dinner at a wonderful Villa outside of Rome. If you have the opportunity for a homemade Italian Country Dinner , at a B&B Villa it is so worth it, and all for about the same cost a as dinner in the city. Leslie Poleri is an amazing chef, with a warm wonderful house, plus a really cool Etruscan cave. We left Rome, blessed, happy and well taken care of. The apartment was wonderful, and we have some new friends for our next visit. If there was room for 10 stars I would post a such.. Now go book it, enjoy this wonderful city, amazing hospitality, with a trusted advisor, and friend.

Excellent Roma Experience

We were planning our first trip to Italy and to Rome, and my son said he was most interested in being near the Coliseum, which led to me find Marmi and Casalilli. It could not have worked out better! We only had two days, and Marmi was a huge help before we ever got there. She set up our transfer from the train station, a driver to tour us around to many of the famous sights on our first day, obtained tickets and an excellent guide for the Vatican our second day, and our transfer to the airport when we left. About the apartment, Casalilli. It is exactly as described but it was a lot more spacious than I imagined. All the rooms were very generously sized. The apartment is very pretty, nicely and comfortably furnished, and really shows how much thought Marmi has given to making it comfortable for her renters. We were two couple traveling together, and it was perfect, particularly having the second bathroom. The apartment is very well situated, on a quiet street and easy walking distance to the Coliseum. Our driver was waiting when we got off the train, and Marmi was waiting at the apartment when we got there to show us around the apartment. A special touch is that she bought us a very delicious Panettone that came in very handy for snack and breakfast. The kitchen was very well outfitted, though we didn’t do more than have coffee and tea because we wanted to try the local restaurants. Our touring days were incredible. Luga was our driver the first day, and he obviously knows his way around very well and took us to many interesting sites that we were able to tour without having the worry about being with a large group or having to navigate Rome. That was very well worth the cost, which was not prohibitive anyway. We told him we hoped to get into the Coliseum that afternoon so he left us at one of the lesser used entrances which allowed us to bypass the long main line at the Coliseum. Our second day Marmi arranged for a driver to take us to the Vatican where we were met by our tour guide. She had the tickets and we were able to enter without waiting in any line, and 30 minutes before the general public. She was extremely knowledgeable about the Vatican, the Sistene Chapel, St. Peter’s Cathedral, and St. Peter’s Square, and we all learned so much and came away with a great appreciation of the history. In summary, while Casalilli was a perfect place to stay, it was all made better because of Marmi’s great sense of how best to spend our time.

Great apartment 2 blocks from the Colloseum! Host met my sister for check in which was a breeze, she even offered a quick tour of the area with a gelato stop! Close to numerous restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Clean spacious apartment. Comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again!

This property has been in the family for generations, originally belonging to my husband’s grand-aunt before being passed down to us. What I love most about this neighborhood is its rich history and vibrant atmosphere. You can step right out of the front door and walk directly to the iconic Colosseum, where emperors once ruled the arena—it’s a breathtaking experience every time.

One of the best things about this area is its proximity to many of Rome’s most famous sites. You’re within walking distance of landmarks like the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and the Basilica of San Giovanni, all while being just far enough from the city’s chaos to enjoy a more relaxed, local atmosphere. It truly feels like the heart of Rome, but with a peaceful charm that allows you to experience the authentic side of the city.

This neighborhood offers a delightful blend of ancient history and modern life. It’s very safe, perfect for leisurely strolls through streets lined with beautiful architecture. You can also escape to Villa Celimontana, a hidden gem of a park where locals unwind in nature. The area is filled with charming shops, authentic Roman trattorias, open-air markets, and lively wine bars, offering both day and night experiences.

Well-connected yet peaceful, this neighborhood is the perfect balance between history and modernity, allowing you to live like a local while being surrounded by the best Rome has to offer.

From the apartment one easily reaches the main Ancient Roman sites such as the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill, Basilica San Clemente, and the Golden House of Nero just to name a few. There are banks, groceries, restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, coffee shops, laundromat, market, pharmacy and parks all within walking distance from Casa Lilli. The metro, bus stop and taxi stands are just 3 to 5 minutes walk. I chose the location to give our visitors the possibility to step out of the front door and walk straight to the Colosseum where the emperors once dominated the arena.
The neighborhood is great and safe surrounded by parks and yet CasaLilli is on a very quiet street!
