La Perla on täydellinen paikka nauttia vanhastakaupungistasi ja sen monista aktiviteeteista. Se on yksityinen Adobe Casita / vierastalo Albuquerquen historiallisessa Vanhankaupungin alueella. Makuuhuoneessa on sisäpihan sisäänkäynti, queen-size-muhkeat patjat, lipastot, vaatekaappi ja suihku. Keittiössä on täysin varustettu kahvinkeitin, mikroaaltouuni ja pesukone / kuivausrumpu (mutta ei astianpesukonetta.) Siivouspalvelu tarjotaan joka toinen viikko pidempään oleskeluun.
Etuyksikön (yleensä omistajien) kanssa jaetun pihan lisäksi keittiöstä on pieni, oma patio, jotta voit nauttia aamukahvin kahvia tai teetä.

Great place to stay in ABQ

Great location, steps away from Old Town, Albuquerque Museum of Art and History, etc. Good onsite parking. Owner and manager both very responsive and helpful. Casita itself is very nice. Spacious bedroom with en suite bathroom, well stocked kitchen, small but adequate living room. Lovely patio. Owner's dog Agatha is large but very old and very gentle--just wants to say hello, get a pat, then go back to sleep. Only caveat is that the shower stall is quite small, roughly 3' square. Overall, we had a lovely time here during our stay.

Okay for a couple of nights

I stayed for four nights in the guest house on the property (owner lives in the main house). Property is in Old Town (Old Town is a tourist trap, but I don't really care). House has a dining/living room, kitchen, and bedroom.Pros: House is within walking distance to Albuquerque Museum, New Mexico Museum of Natural History, restaurants, bars, a bicycle rental place.Kitchen has everything you need (including washer/dryer -- yes, it's in the kitchen -- not good but I don't care because I didn't use it). Bed and couch were comfortable (see additional comment below). There were separate temperature controls in dining/living room and bedroom.The house is inside a locked gate.Cons:World record holder for TINYEST bathroom. Shower stall is 2 1/2 X 2 1/2 ft. (I measured it).Walking from the kitchen to the dining/living room is a step down. The bed is a full size (not queen or king).All but two windows are painted shut (I like to open the windows and turn off the air conditioning at night because it gets cool in Albuquerque at night -- no can do).The dining table needs to be replaced with one that is cornerless (to save space because the area is small and it's easy to bump into two of the sharp corners).At night I normally watch regular TV stations (cable news, sports, etc.) Couldn't do it because the Hulu they have continually cuts off. It's better to not have Hulu at all than to have Hulu that continually cuts off.

The most considerate host

We booked for a 3 night stay for my Mom's funeral. As in many such situations, many balls in the air, many last-minute uncertainties to resolve at a moment when few of us were feeling up to it. Our host was accommodating in every way, flexible with check in and check out, solicitous throughout the stay to make sure we had everything we needed, yet very respectful of our privacy. Memorable in every way.

Perfect for couples

Great location in Old Town Albuquerque. Walking distance to everything. Casita is perfect for a couple with nice living room, stocked kitchen and bedroom. Shower is small but workable. Great outdoor space, great host, and enjoyed having Agatha around.

Lovely place to stay

The property was clean and had everything I needed. Rob was very helpful and Agatha the Labrador was lovely and friendly. Location was perfect if you want to visit the Old Town Plaza. It was also close to a bus line if you want to use them. Recommend Church Street Cafe and Little Anita’s to eat. Noisy Water Winery had lovely wine and nice food.

This was my second stay at La Perla, and I’m sure it won’t be my last! The perfect location, and the most comfortable, private and welcoming home away from home! Just the best! Hosts are amazing as is the vale for the price.

Amazing Casita

We loved everything about this casita! We were greeted by Rob and Agatha the friendly lab who loved a little pat and then just laid down! The location is perfect because not only was it quiet it was 1 block from Old Town. You can park your car and never have to leave. There are museums, a park and all the shopping and restaurants right there. There is the cutest garden patio which looked so relaxing! But one of the best parts was how nice Rob and Arlene were! Not only were they very friendly and kind when there was a plumbing issue they literally had a plumber within an hour. Rent this VRBO you will love it too!

Fabulous Casita in Old town

The location of this spacious Casita is great….walking distance to everything in Old Town! I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and I have to say that this is very well stocked with all you could need, they have thought of everything! The patio area is large with many places to sit and tables to eat at or to have your morning coffee. I highly recommend you stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Nice little casita in the middle of Albuquerque

Loved this little space in ABQ. We were in town to check out the city, and this location was excellent. It has easy access to the freeways and is essentially right in the middle, so nothing was more than 20 minutes away, just pick the direction you need to go. But, don't get me wrong, you can't hear the freeways, as the neighborhood is within walking distance of old town, where we went to often grab a morning coffee. But, we also made use of the very serviceable kitchen as well, so we were able to save money by buying groceries locally and NOT having to eat out all the time. In fact, I think we only dinner out twice.Overall, a nice stay, very convenient, and we'd definitely stay here again next time we're back in the ABQ.

The casita is a wonderful place to stay in Albuquerque. It is bright, clean, cozy and in a perfect location for museums, the park, Old Town, and restaurants on a quiet residential street. Highly recommend staying here. Owner and manager very helpful, kind, and very respectful of privacy (understanding that the casita shares the property). There is a very lovely courtyard to sit in for much warmer weather.

All the amenities included. Great location.

Literally steps away from Old Town Albuquerque with a ton of shops and restaurants. Grocery store right around the corner & easy freeway access. Lots of coffee supplies and a nice coffee machine. Washer & dryer with detergent, bleach, dryer sheets all provided. All bedding very nice and very comfortable bed. Bathroom had a ton of things provided, including shampoo, conditioner, wipes, sunscreen, lotions, etc. Agatha (Aggie) was a sweetheart, we love dogs. The shower is on the small side & the handle would come loose, but plenty of hot water & enough water pressure. We did get some rain when we were there, but plenty of activities to do indoors. Definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic Stay

La Perla was just right for my sister and I! It is an adorable casita that is perfectly appointed, clean, and in a great location in Old Town. Arlene, the host, and Rob, the owner, are fantastic. Arlene checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Communication was easy, and they were flexible when we wanted to extend our stay by a day. The gate and door are accessed with a code, so it was nice not worrying about a key (though it is an option). The house is across a parking lot from the entrance to the Old Town shopping plaza and historic San Felipe Neri Catholic Church. The couch pulls out into a bed so the casita could technically sleep 4, but it’s much more comfortable for 2. There is one bathroom with a small shower (not enough room to shave your legs, for reference). A few toiletries were set out in case we forgot something (shampoo, toothbrush, personal wipes, etc.). The house is on a septic, so don’t flush anything except TP and the stuff that goes in the toilet. The kitchen has every tool you need for cooking and there is a washer and dryer (bring your own soap). Full size fridge, microwave and lovely gas stove. The patio and courtyard are beautiful, and the resident yellow lab was good company outside in the evenings. My sister and I loved our stay and I would book La Perla again!

Great location & private patio area

We stayed a week in this little unit and it was perfect for 2 adults. Very clean, with comfortable beds, a quiet neighborhood, and easy walk to Old Town, shops, museums, and cafes. There is a desk area and strong internet connection making working remotely an option if needed. There is a private back seating area with views of sunflowers to enjoy your morning coffee and watch all the birds and butterflies - we saw hummingbirds, goldfinch and many others! There is a larger private front patio with plenty of seating to relax and visit. Grocery store is a short drive away. Checking-in and out was easy and the owner was friendly and helpful when needed. We would definitely stay here again!

An outstanding Old Town Albuquerque lodging experience!

La Perla casita is a gem, hands down the best short-term rental experience I've ever had. The casita is charming and set up with everything anyone could want. The host really just thought of everything! I was comfortable, cozy, and felt like I was coming home everytime I opened the front door of the casita. It welcomed me with open arms. And speaking of welcoming. The owner, Rob, is a delightful, friendly man who I am delighted to have met in person. We had some lovely conversations and I look forward to seeing him again. And of course I must mention the sweet yellow Lab named Agatha. What a sweetie! So nice to have a furry friend around. I was also lucky to meet the manager, Arlene, in person. She's friendly and welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. Bottom line, I will be back. And that's a promise.

The Rispoli family moved a great deal and while Tempe, Arizona was our base we lived in Palo Alto, CA, Minneapolis, Durango, CO, Greenville, SC AND Albuquerque. As Tempe and the Phoenix area grew, we decided it was the right time to relocate to a smaller city and a less stressful lifestyle. One day, while on a business trip to Albuquerque, Rob noticed a for sale sign being pounded into the ground in front of a just-renovated Old Town property. He stopped, greeted the owner, went inside, called Phyllis and the rest as they say is history! You can park your car and walk from La Perla to the Old Town Plaza, 3 museums District, and the Sawmill Marketplace. It's only a 2-3 minute walk (really) to Tiguex Park, or the Old Town Plaza with its 200 year-old church, gazebo, restaurants and shopping. You'll find amazing SW and Native American jewelry. Caution: If the prices and too good to be true, that's a tipoff that it's probably not authentic!

Our guest book lists favorite New Mexican restaurants, local cafes, and fine dining. The Sawmill Marketplace is a very cool food hall with 20+ vendors and lots of outdoor dining in the warmer months.

The Summer months offer live music venues around the Old Town neighborhood. We are one mile from the Bio-Park's Aquarium and Botanical Gardens. Only an hour's drive to Santa Fe, you can also hop on the 'Railrunner' in downtown and enjoy a leisurely trip at a reasonable price.
