This condo was perfect for a family of 4. It was an easy walking distance to the beach as well as several restaurants and shops. We are familiar with Deerfield Beach and really enjoy the location. If you choose to drive to the beach (which we did on some occasions because of all of the gear/toys) it is easy to find a parking space and the meters take credit cards. We prefer to hit the area of the beach a few blocks south of the fishing pier, which is still guarded but has less crowds. You also want to take the time to walk to one of the little parks off SE 19th Ave that are on the Intercoastal. If it's near the hour or half hour when the bridge opens, you might catch a glimpse of a sailboat or yacht. For groceries, head over the bridge to the nearest Publix supermarket on Hillsboro Blvd. If you want some fresh seafood to cook for dinner, head to Pop's Fish Market just a little further down Hillsboro.
As for the condo itself, the interior is updated and master bed was very comfortable. The two twins in the second bedroom were more than adequate for our children but one of the mattresses is getting a noticeable "dip" in the middle which an adult might notice when sleeping. The kitchen has all of the basics - coffee maker, toaster, microwave and stove. This unit does not have a dishwasher and while I don't mind hand washing, I would have appreciated a dish rack of some sort. The only thing I missed was a baking sheet of some sort for the oven. We did not use the laundry facilities as I chose to go to a laundrymat in Deerfield (sidenote, there are several area laundries that have very reasonable rates per pound for doing laundry for you). THe condo did have plenty of towels as well as towels for the pool.
We did not use the housekeeping or need to change out our towels while we were there but it is offered. The WiFi worked well and I was surprised to find they had premium cable with HBO and Showtime.
The kids enjoyed the pool in the evenings but just be aware that the pool immediately goes to a depth of 4 feet at the steps and then quickly to 6 feet so there is no real "shallow" area for small children in the pool. Our youngest who is a non-swimmer happily wore her lifevest/floatation device. There is ample seating around the pool deck, including tables with umbrellas and covered lounge chairs.
Check in and check out was a breeze and parking was readily available. We would definitely stay here again on future visits!
