Tervetuloa paratiisiin!!!! Ei kaduilla risteyksessä päästä rannalle! Olemme toinen taso. Kävele talosta suoraan hiekkaan! Olemme sijaitsee noin. 120 metrin päässä vesien reunasta! Dune Walk West on korotettu, 1-tarina duplex. 1650 sq. Ft. Nukkuu 12. Siinä on kaksi makuuhuonetta, joissa oma kylpyamme, 3. makuuhuone jakaa iso kylpyhuone 4. makuuhuoneessa on kaksi kerrossänkyä !! Täydellinen paikka perheen loma tai yhdistämistä !!!! Vuokrat molemmin puolin yhteensä 8 huonetta ja 7 kylpyhuonetta !!!! (Katso muut listalle VRBO # 739867)
Tulet rakastamaan rentouttava kannella kun lapset rakentaa sandcastles vuonna sokeri, valkoista hiekkaa alla !!!

Beautiful beach house!

My family had an excellent spring break stay in this home! It is roomy, comfortable and easily accommodates large families, especially if you are bringing pets. We found it very clean and inviting. The absolute BEST part is the location, just off the sandy shores of the Gulf. The neighborhood is nice and walkable, again very convenient if you are bringing pets. We will absolutely stay here again!

Great neighborhood in Fort Morgan

Loved this property for its space, location to the beach, and overall set up. Wish it was closer to neighborhood pool but that’s the only drawback—- if you have several younger kids recommend renting a golf cart to go back and forth to pool too. Beach is walkable with small kids.

Vacation 2024

Everything as in the pictures. Owners super easy to communicate with. Lots of room for our Family vacation. Short walk to beach. They do have beach toys, chairs and various yhings for family on the beach. Our family was extremely pleased.

Great location in a quiet area of Morgantown. Decor and furnishings are a little dated and the main open area would benefit from another couch/loveseat.

Comfortable family spot with good water views!

DuneWalk West provided plenty of space for our family of 5 and we felt like the pictures did not do it justice. Our favorite spot was the porch and its view of the water. Great for soaking up some awesome Gulf breezes and sunshine! It’s located in a more secluded part of Morgantown, which was nice for privacy’s sake. We enjoyed having access to the community pools as well. Would stay again if we returned to the area!

Spring Break 2023

This place is amazing! The beach house is right on the beach. You literally open your doors to the sound of the ocean! We loved that the beach was like having your own private beach! We highly recommend! The house is roomy and minutes away from Gulf Shores!

Great location! Had a great time. However the house needs some maintenance. Beds were confortable however the top of the bunk beds were dirty and full of tiny mosquitoes. There was some leaking from the ceiling, and some of the furniture was old. Over all we had a good time.

Nice Unit!

Easy access/walk to beach without crossing any roads. Unit is a duplex with no common wall with the other unit so nice separation/privacy. Property Manager was very available and responsive through VRBO messaging.

Lightning fast customer service

Battery was dead on door lock, so we could not get into house. The owner fixed the problem quickly and without drama. Given the remote location of the house this issue warrants comment.

Floor plans of the duplex worked for us; disappointed in poorly maintained property

PROS: 1. The duplex is located back from a section of the beach that is not heavily populated. 2. The layout of the two duplex units worked for our family of 22. CONS: Both sides were poorly maintained: water stains and mildew on ceilings in the main room; towel racks missing; broken down picnic table with exposed nails; exposed nails on dry-rotted deck railing; unpatched holes in wall; broken shelves in refrigerator that were still stuffed in top cabinet, despite a previous review with same complaint; seats of woven chairs broken or sagging; no round table in one side of duplex as advertised; replacement window trim still not painted; old windows and other items from "2020 renovations" still piled under the house. I have over 20 photos of the items I am describing, but there is not an option to attach photos. I called Dana after we got to the rental to ask her to remove the picnic table with the exposed nails. She said she couldn't remove it, but she would have someone come by and hammer the nails down. No-one ever came to to this, nor did we hear back from her about this concern. We will return to this area of Fort Morgan, but we do not recommend this rental due to false advertising, unacceptable maintenance condition, and poor response from owners.

Just not for us

The cottage was very nice but we only stayed less than 24hours of our 4 night stay. Upon arrival the home had a very pleasant fragrant smell as if recently sprayed. Our dog immediately started rolling on the carpet over and over but didn't think much about it. We left to go eat dinner and took our dog along with us. Upon returning she started the rolling again an I got down and tried to see or smell what was on the carpet as no pet stains were showing. I did find that strong urine was embedded in the carpet and our dog now had that smell as well. The next morning we got up, called trying to find a place to get dog washed and found a place in Pensacola. The next morning we fixed our coffee and went outside to enjoy morning coffee and ocean views. There was construction going on two doors down so very noisy with hammering and sawing. I know if is off season while we were there and that is when construction does have to take place. The duplex side across from us was having some renovations done as well and we could hear the sounds of the renovations from the deck. Could not hear them from inside but we came to spend a quiet time away from noise we had at home and spend it outside not inside.This was no fault of owners at all. But is was not what we had wanted for ourselves. We made the decision to look for something else when we took our dog to get washed. At that time we packed up and left. I notified the owner that we had left around 11:00 and decided that the cottage was not for us due to the urine smell and the distraction of construction. I did ask if they felt some sort of a refund /partial could be considered. That was not received very well at all.....a defensive attitude assured me we had made the right decision to just walk away. I was told the place had just been painted and new appliances added, and carpets cleaned. I did say the carpets looked clean but had embedded urine causing it to have odor and the construction was a distraction and her reply was, "well what would you have done if I had rented to children next to you." I felt that was an inappropriate response . i have not heard a word and won't I am sure. A great place for a family but not really for a "couple get-away place "to relax and just enjoy being out in the sun on the deck , sunning, reading, etc. The place is nice, the view is nice, and it was clean. It was Just Not For Us.

Wonderful Vacation

We absolutely loved the house! We were amazed at the spacious rooms and balcony.There wee plenty of towels, bedding, and other essentials. The kitchen was equipped so that meal preparation was no problem. We absolutely loved the bunk room we called the “cousin room”. The adults loved the king and queen-size beds. We were impressed with the air conditioning and the hot water supply. The beach was beautiful everyday we were there. There was a delightful breeze there during the day and on the balcony at night. The view of the stars was stunning.. When we had a clogged toilet, our hosts contacted someone from Maintenance and had it unclogged in no time. Our only downside was that we were unaware that some of the beach is privately owned. The owners curtly told us to move , even though we were below the high tide line. Another time, on another part of the beach, another member of the same household informed us that they would fill in the hole my grandchildren had been playing in because it was against the beach rules to leave holes. When my daughter replied that the hole had been dug by other people and our little ones were just playing in it, she repeated that it as against the rules. Of course, we understand the reasoning, but the manner the messages were delivered left a bad taste in our mouths. Other than those minor aggravations, our trip was wonderful. We saw dolphins and other sea life. The little ones had an amazing crab hunt the last night we were there. We made some fabulous memories.

Overall an 3 out of 5.

WiFi was poor for those addicted, maybe too many devices. Anything cooked in oven, smoke detector went off, annoying. Overall fair, it’s just a lot to furnish for just staying a week. Fast response for any questions. Not for elderly , too far for my parents to walk in sand. They made it once to beach.

I would suggest adding blinds to the door on the side of the duplex. The neighbors kids had a good time looking it and making faces at us. Not a big deal for us but some may not appreciate it.

Observations and Evaluations

We enjoyed our stay and had no major issues. The items listed below are FYI and did not significantly impact our stay. Some Observations/Evaluations of the property: 1. a number of missing light bulbs (at least 10) 2. main door latch broken (fixed by maintenance on Tuesday) 3. Toilet paper holder in 1/2 bath came off wall (fixed by maintenance on Monday) 4. shelves in refrigerator door missing/broken 5. ice maker did not produce ice 6. Outside not well kept - trash and weeds around 7. Area where beach items kept had many broken or unusable items and it was very unorganized 8. Lower pat of driveway (the third nearest the road) flooded after rains on Tuesday and Wednesday nights and remained flooded (about 6 inches of water) until we left on Saturday with still about 4 inch of water on Saturday. 9. Roof leaked near back door (gulf side) after a very hard rain. 10. Area around outside showers was messy (sand all over sidewalk, mats not cleaned of sand).

Family trip

We enjoyed our stay at Ft Morgan. After staying in Gulf Shores last year, we decided to stay in Ft Morgan so our dog could enjoy the beach with us- which he definitely did! Although if we didn’t have our dog as a part of the equation we would definitely stay in gulf shores just because of it’s convenient location to everything- Staying in ft Morgan is definitely a 20 min drive to any real stores, restaurants, etc. but if you are looking for a true getaway with not much hustle and bustle- ft Morgan is the place!!! The beach is beautiful and watching the dolphins swim in the wild was an extra treat!

Stress Relief

Very nice property in an upscale subdivision ! Much larger than we needed but our two dogs very allowed so it was perfect for our visit. This area is secluded for those wanting to avoid a crowd. Two very good restaurants are close but don't be looking for a McDonald's! As usual, the beaches were awsome!

Multiple water leaks dripping from ceiling on furniture. Cover plate missing on outlet by sink. Boards falling off deck. Owners gave minimal response to our safety concerns. Felt this was not worth the value we paid. Disappointing. We won't stay there again.

We have been married for 18 wonderful years! I am very blessed to have married my best friend!!! We enjoy lots of outdoor activities and staying active!! When Ron isn't golfing and I'm not playing tennis.....you will find us at the beach!!!! We have 3 rescue 'fur babies' that go everywhere we do! I wouldn't want to vacation without them and that's why we offer a pet friendly vacation home!

We fell in love with this house and everything it has to offer! It has the most beautiful, panoramic, unobstructed views of the sandy white beach and Gulf of Mexico!! It is very spacious and i love offering the option to rent both sides out as one house for large families and groups at an affordable rate!!
