Äskettäin uusittu Lakefront Home, jossa ylimääräinen huoneisto

Shelter Point Retreat (Pohjoinen) on neljän makuuhuoneen, neljän kylpyhuoneen talo Kentucky-järvellä, ja se on upea paeta arkeen hälinästä. 3BR / 3BA-päärakennuksesta on kauniit näkymät pääjärvelle, kun taas remontoitu 864 neliön jalkahuoneisto vain muutaman askeleen päässä päärakennuksesta antaa ylimääräistä tilaa perheille ja ystäville kerätä yhteen.

Erillinen huoneisto, jossa on keittiö, olohuone, kylpyhuone ja makuuhuone, sisältyy varauksiin. Tämä tila lisättiin keväällä 2017.

Koko omaisuus on loistava paikka tehdä muistoja rakkaitasi kanssa. Pisteellä sijaitsevalla kiinteistöllä on kauniit näkymät pääjärvelle ja pääsy veteen yksityisellä, katetulla laiturillaan pienellä lahdella.

Great Lake Getaway!

Property is right on the water, small beach, docks, kayaks! You can rent a boat from the Lynnhurst Marina, and motor back to the cove, if you just follow the map We did this! The house was great, plenty of room inside and out. We fished, drove around in a pontoon boat, played cards on the deck, paddled around in the kayaks, just fun all around!

Great long weekend trip!

We stayed Thurs. - Sunday and despite very stormy weather, we had a wonderful stay. Shelter Point North was exactly as advertised if not better! The place was clean, had a good kitchen set up so meals could be prepared, and games/movies to help pass the time during the heavy rains. We would definitely recommend and plan to return!

Awesome Location! Cute House!

This was a great property with amazing views. It was exactly as described. The shoreline around the property and the dock is perfect for fishing. We had six adults and six kids and they all had a blast! Everyone had a place to sleep and plenty of room. The bonus guest house was truly a bonus. The location was one of our favorites out of many rentals and the owners were quick to respond and fantastic! Highly recommend!

Family Lake Trip

Our six littles had a blast in the lake! Great access as was a gentler slope…not so steep with steps like a lot of others we considered. Kristin was quick to respond when I had to reach out with an issue prior to arrival. I truly appreciated that. Hope to return to Kentucky Lake in the future!

Great Stay

The property was beautiful. Very spacious and the owner supplied everything, but food and drinks. My husband and our nephews has fun playing on the canoes. We were able to rent a boat near by and dock it right at the house. Will recommend to anyone who needs a mini break from life.

NICE FAMILY GET AWAY

We enjoyed being on the lake. This property accommodated our family nicely. We were not a big fan of having the smallest bathroom the main bathroom. Some of our guests wished we were closer to a store to pick up the basics.

Family Reunion

What a great find! Tucked away on the Kentucky Lake, these two homes were everything you could ask for. Kitchen was well stocked and when a storm came thru in the afternoon the whole house generator saved the day. Owners communication was awesome. The docks are wonderful for fishing, swimming and just enjoying the view. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Property & Great Management

All three generations of our extended family loved this location. The lake view was unbeatable and the lodgings were very nice. There were plenty of places to gather inside and out. We made good use of the kayaks and loved swimming in the private cove. The deck was perfect for grilling and birdwatching. We saved money by cooking and found the main kitchen pretty well equipped. Kristin was very easy to work with and highly responsive. We would love to go back some time.

Gorgeous views!

This was the perfect place to stay right on the water. My family of five and our friends (family of three) stayed here very comfortably. The finished basement was a perfect place for the two teenagers to go amd watch tv at the end of the night and get away from the adults. The layout of the home was spacious and fit our families wonderfully. The home was very clean and had a very well stocked kitchen. The views on the deck were spectacular. We enjoyed boating everyday and loved having our own private dock as well as a great fire pit by the water. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ky Lake!!

Beautiful & Spacious Home Right on the Lake

This home, along with the additional apartment, provided a great deal of space for our group. We spent a lot of time outdoors, eating, playing games, & relaxing on the the very nice & spacious deck, which overlooks beautiful Kentucky Lake. Our friends brought their ski boat & it was great to have our own dock. We also enjoyed swimming right off of the dock. Note that the path down to the lake & dock are rather steep, & could be challenging for some adults & small children. Kristin was a pleasure to deal with & quick to respond with our questions & concerns. We enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend staying at this home.

Awesome property & views!

This property was great for our big family vacation. We had a group of 12 (2 of them small kids) there for 5 nights and everyone had plenty of space. Big deck overlooking Kentucky Lake. Great sunrises! Big gas grill on the deck that used almost every day. Boat dock is very nice and covered. We also enjoyed the kayaks that are on the property. Plenty of towels and kitchen had everything needed to cook, eat or drink with. Most important of all, this place was VERY CLEAN and well maintained! We saw several bald eagles while on the lake or even flying by the property. Lake has a ton of small bays surrounded by nature. Pontoon rental was only about 10 minutes away too. We would definitely recommend this place.

Stayed for a weekend... Plenty of room for nine people. Lake is beautiful. Wonderful deck. Plenty of seating. The house came very well equipped. Only thing u need to bring is food and clothes. The only negative thing I can say is the house could use a deep cleaning... Musty smell .. Carpets need shampooed .. And the sheets and bedding were not fresh.. It wasn't a deal breaker but should have been better for the price. But we did enjoy our stay!

Nice Lake House

The property was nice as it was right on the lake, had a nice dock, Kayaks and deck overlooking the lake. Property also had a seperate 1 bd 1 ba apartment which was great. The 2nd Living Room with bathroom were on the lower level and could be accessed through what seemed like a closet door or sliding glass doors from the lake side outside but seemed very detached from the upstairs. Would have been perfect for kids or a seperate party area, we just didnt use it. Overall cleanliness could have been better, both sofas on the first floor had food and candy wrappers under them, ceiling fans had caked on dirt, some provided towels were fraying. Having said all of this, I would stay here again for the value. Owner was Super responsive and answered all of our questions quickly.

Family vacation

The house was very well stocked with kitchen items. Unfortunately the house was not very clean when we checked in. There was an unflushed toilet, the hand soap containers watered down with a sack of new hand soap just left on the floor. The deck was very big and much enjoyed but it also was not very clean with bugs all over the doors and windows. The kids loved jumping off the dock and swimming and using the kayaks. We also took advantage of the fire pit. There was no sheets for the sofa bed in the apartment and didn’t reliable it until everyone had gone to bed. All in all, we had a great time. Thank you.

Great week at the lake!

Our time at Shelter Point was a relaxing time together and fun on the water. The property was fairly easy to find, google took us right there (however I missed the numbers on the mailbox, so look for those!) The space was great, we had eight of us, 4 adults, 2 teens and 2 kids (9/10). The basement was great for giving us space to spread out and the apartment was wonderful for that also. The kitchen had all the basics we needed. Let's talk about the lake front. The view was great, the dock was even better. Lynnhurst Family Resort is a short boat ride from the property where we had a 3 day boat rental. You can bring the boat back to the house and use the covered dock for keeping it out of any possible weather. It was in a small cove, and we caught a few fish from the dock. We also had lots of fun using the kayaks that were provided, definitely a bonus! The only unexpected issue we had was the walk from the house down to the dock. It is steeper than I realized from the pictures, and this gave my parents a bit of trouble. Overall, we had a great experience.

Peaceful relaxation

1st impression place was very peaceful and charming. You are right on the water and can enjoy from house or deck even if you don't go out on water. Side apartment allowed for us ladies to get away from the hustle of the main house but was just steps away. Small alcove off the main lake allowed for calmer water for the kids to kyack. Men were able to come and go off the lake with the dock right there. House well furnished. Would have liked a small microwave in the apartment though. Also struggled frequently with TV reception @ the apartment. Overall very nice experience. Would go there again. Not a lot of restaurants nearby so take food with you (which we did) if you don't want to drive. Great getaway. Renter kept us informed and very easy using the house. Thanks.

Fantastic Spot to Relax for a Weekend

Large grassy yard, secluded cove with a nice dock. Plenty of beds, nice house and within quick driving distance of Murray.
