River's Bend on 3 makuuhuoneen, kahden kylpyammekoti, jota ympäröivät suuret kauniit punapuupuut. Talon ympärillä on suuri kansi ja alakerra, joka sijaitsee aivan Smith-joen rannalla.

Uima-, kalastus-, melonta-, soutu-, pyöräily-, patikointi- tai tutkimusmatkan päivän jälkeen voit palata taloon rentoutumaan grillaamiseksi, paistettua vaahtokarkkeja tai vain nauttia jokinäkymästä vain 30 metrin päässä kannelta. Suuressa olohuoneessa ja täysin varustetussa keittiössä on suuret lesket, joiden avulla voit valmistaa ruokaa sisä- tai ulkotiloissa samalla kun otat kauniit näkymät mukaan lukien virtaava joki. Yhden makuuhuoneen ja alakerran täyden kylpyammeen avulla on helppo saada rauhallinen yöunet. Yläkerrassa olevat kaksi ylimääräistä makuuhuonetta ja täysi kylpyamme tarjoavat runsaasti makuutilaa kaikille ja upeat näkymät omaisuutta ympäröiville punapuille. Best rental house on the Smith River! This was our 3rd or 4th time here and it's still our favorite rental house ever. Fully stocked with every possible thing you might need. The hosts are great and very helpful and the location is unique in that is has the best access of any rental house on the Smith River. Even my barely mobile 84 year-old mother-in-law could get down to the beach to watch us kayak and swim. My only tiny complaint is that the knives in the kitchen were almost too dull to use, so bring your own if you plan on cooking a big meal. The kitchen is great for cooking for a large group because it's open and you can chat while cooking. Wish I lived here!

Close to Redwoods!

Very nice location. Kids enjoyed swimming in the very calm and clear river. Amazing redwood trees on the property. Wonderful sound of a small babbling creek running along side the property. Very nice kitchen remodel. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect!

The house was the perfect size for our family of 6 and could have easily accommodated more people. The room upstairs was great for the kids. The river and the view was gorgeous. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working during our stay.The location was great, we easily made the drive to Crescent City daily and also to many hikes in the Redwoods.

River House Birthday Weekend

Even in the winter, it was a magical stay to watch the water in the river rage, over coffee or from the hot tub. This is also, by far, the best well stocked vacation house we have ever visited. Wonderful stay!!!

Amazing Crescent City Stay

This place was amazing!!! We had a blast at this wonderful place. River swimming was awesome and not too cold. Place was well equipped to make this a fabulous stay and the owners were very helpful. Will definitely come back soon!

Just a great place to stay! The house is comfy and has everything you need, more in the kitchen than any of the other VRBOs I’ve stayed in. River is as advertised, beautiful and clear. Would recommend!

Family redwoods

This property was in an excellent location for our family to explore the redwoods and the near by ocean towns. The setting on the river was beautiful and we enjoyed all the amenities, such as kayaking and games. The house could use a little updating, but still a great place to stay!

Easy River Access with Lots of Room

If you want easy access to the Smith River and a location that is remote, but not too remote…this is a solid choice. Lots of room. There are also plenty of games and amenities.

Love the river view!

Cold and rainy on this trip, could not ask for a better spot on the river. Only complaint we had was the hot tub was dirty. We were really looking forward to spending our time in the tub, but not this trip.

Best spot on the river

This was our second time staying at Rivers Bend and we will be back. Location is the best with its own private access to the river. The house is supplied with all the things you need and even things you didn't think you needed. We always have a great time watching the birds and otters in the river. Dave is a great host.

Great location

Perfect house for our family. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub over looking the river was fabulous! Close to lots of wonderful hiking spots. We even drove to Brookings one day to enjoy a hike and visit the beach. It was a beautiful day. We will definitely be back when the weather warms up so we can really take advantage of the river and all the fun outdoor toys the home has to offer.

Gorgeous views & excellent river access

The hot tub & outdoor space beautifully exhibit the Smith River. Redwoods access is super nearby! The hosts were communicative & helpful when we ran into a few tiny hiccups. Overall the home is very beautiful but looks slightly bigger in photos than in person. We had a party of 9 & that was perfect! Would absolutely come back in the summer months to fully enjoy all the property has to offer.

Excellent

We had a wonderful time at this location. So relaxing and peaceful. Had all the things you need including spices, coffee, shampoo. Dave was excellent to work with. We will definitely visit again when water is warmer. I would definitely recommend this cabin/home experience. Everything we wanted to do was within 15 minute drive. So much beauty in this area. Thanks for a great stay.

We (Dave and Lavonne) have lived in Del Norte County since 1979. Lavonne, a true local, was born in Crescent City and raised about 4 miles from this house. Dave was born in Tennessee and was raised in Boulder, Colorado; Billings, Montana; and Spokane, Washington.

We met in Los Angeles in 1975 while attending LIFE Bible College, now LIFE Pacific College. We were married in 1977 and moved to Crescent City after graduation in 1979 to help Lavonne's dad run the family business.

We have lived in the same house since moving to Crescent City in 1979, raising our four sons in our beautiful home, surrounded by redwoods, and only 6 miles from this house, River's Bend.

Del Norte County is our home, we have deep roots here, and we are excited to introduce you to this amazing place!

We love the Smith River and over the years we have spent a lot of time on it - swimming, boating, tubing, fishing, and just relaxing. We had always wished that we could someday have a little corner of this river to call our own, to share with our family and friends. We were completely unaware of this house. Imagine our surprise when we stumbled onto this one-in-a-million property. Dave is a realtor in this area and was asked to show this home to a young couple moving to the area. Unfortunately, they were not able to get into the house due to there being VRBO tenants in the home (this home has a long VRBO history). That couple eventually bought another house on the beach in Crescent City but we were bitten by the beauty of the home and its surroundings.

When we first saw this beautiful house nestled in the redwoods we were amazed. And then when we saw Camp Six Creek flowing down the length of the property we were intrigued. But when we stood by the beautiful Smith River, looking up at this beautiful house and looking down at the deep clear waters, the beautiful rocks strewn around the swimming hole, and the year around sandy beach we were smitten. We knew that we must do anything we could to own this home, to enjoy it ourselves, to share it with our family, and especially to share it with all of you - friends from around the world whom we have not yet met.

Please come join us at this most amazing spot on the most beautiful river you will ever enjoy!
