Jos sinä ja perheesi olette valmiita kokemaan aitoutta Deep Creek -lomalle, ihastuttava Lakefront-koti Ski Shore on täydellinen valinta! Tämä alue sijaitsee rauhallisella laella järven eteläpäässä. Se on ihanteellinen paikka rauhalliseen kävelylle iltaisin tai vain nauttimiseen kaiken poistumisesta.

Parkettilattiat ja puiset korosteet luovat täydellisen hytti-ilmapiirin koko päätasolle. On helppo kuvitella kokoontuvan rakkaansa kanssa suuressa huoneessa katsomaan suosikkielokuvaa Blu-Rayssa tai käpertyä räjähtävän tulen edessä massiivisessa kivitakkassa. Kesäkuukausina keskusvirta pitää sinut viileänä.

Syöväkeittiö on hyvin varusteltu riippumatta siitä, piiskaatteko piknik-lounaan tai teet suuren kodin aamiaisen.

Päätaso tarjoaa myös täyden kylpyammeen vain suihkulla ja kaksi makuuhuonetta, joissa molemmissa queen-size-vuoteet. Koristeltu mukavuuttasi ajatellen, heräät virkistyneenä ja valmis vastaamaan uusiin seikkailuihin!

Pään kierreportaat alas löytää perhehuone, joka laajentaa asuintilaa. Voit katsella televisiota, kun lapset voivat puhkaista lautapelejä tai pelata jalkapalloa. Tällä tasolla on myös makuuhuone, jossa queen-vuode ja täysi kylpyamme.

Suuntaa ulkopuolelle ja anna todellisen seikkailun alkaa! Osittain katettu kannella on näköala järvelle ja siitä tulee oma yksityinen ulkokeidas. Joka aamu voit nauttia upeista näkymistä rentoutuessasi kuistilla heiluttamalla kupillista kuumaa kahvia.

Kesäpäivät oli tarkoitus viettää vedessä ja yksityisen laiturisi avulla voit tehdä juuri sen! Vuokraa vene tai siirrä vain aikaa vapaa-aikaan uimaan ja leikkimään järvessä. Telakkaportaat ovat lisätty plus ja todellinen mukavuus veteen pääsylle ja vedestä poistumiseen. Tuo vene tai vuokraa se paikallisesti risteilylle hiljaisilla lahtia ja mailia rantaviivaa.

Takapihalla on sisäänrakennettu takka, joka on ihanteellinen marshmallowien paahtamiseen rapeina vuoriyönä. Kun lapset ovat menneet nukkumaan, voit tähtiä ja rentoutua kuplivassa ulkokylpytynnyrissä.

Ski Shore on syrjässä, mutta silti kymmenen-viidentoista minuutin ajomatkan päässä suosikki nähtävyyksistä, ravintoloista ja kaupoista. Jokaisella miehistössäsi on jotain! Lake Get A Way

The house is well stocked and nicely decorated. The exterior does not appear to have been maintained in some time. Grass very overgrown, all patios had tree debirs and the lower level patio faces a completely overgrown bush.

Wonderful getaway

Clean and cute cabin with everything we needed for a quiet relaxing long weekend at the lake. Outdoor spaces were beautiful. Inside was rustic and a little dark but was to be expected for a cabin in the woods during summer. Kitchen was well equipped. Lodgings were perfect for our small party (3 of us). Would definitely stay here again.

Long weekend

The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. Owner's/managment company was very responsive, and happy to help. Loads of great activities nearby but we mostly chose to relax in the hot tub or simply sit and enjoy the views of the lake and a warm fire.

Wonderful weekend stay!

The home was very clean and the bathrooms, deck, and kitchen have been recently updated. The outdoor patio area with fireplace was gorgeous! We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the deck. The dock was very pretty! The stairs down the hill to the lake were plentiful, but the stairs were built in such a way as to always have a hand on the side if needed. We just called it fun exercise to go back and forth from the lake to the house. We would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing getaway

My wife and I came here for a long weekend, and even though the weather was unseasonably cold, Ski Shore made for a relaxing getaway. The location was definitely a highlight, as well as the hot tub and foosball table. It’s about 10-15 minutes from most of the good restaurants, but it’s an easy drive. Our biggest complaints were the lack of a propane grill (which would seem standard at any rental like this), the steep spiral staircase between the two floors and the tiny TVs. We definitely didn’t come here to watch TV, but after a day of hiking and seeing the sights, it would have been nice to sit back and watch modern HDTVs at night. But all in all a positive experience.

August 2018 lake trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a nice place in a great quiet cove. The outdoor space with the fireplace was quiet and secluded. The back deck that overlooked the lake did not have much privacy to the house to the left. The interior was a perfect lake getaway with dark paneling and a rustic feel. Would return.

It's more about the outdoors than the indoor

Can't beat the lake views. Good location. Dock area was great. Kitchen could use some additional lighting. The grill wasn't really a grill. Had a grate to hold charcoal, but nothing to cook your food on. Would've been nice if the tree debris was blown off the decks. Downstairs toilet and bathroom floor were not cleaned thoroughly. Rugs in the basement had tree debris all over them still. Overall, nice little place.

Almost perfect lakeside vacation

Inside the House was great, was spotless upon arrival, has great decks, wonderful hot tub, but there is NO outside Propane grill, and the outside stone “fireplace charcoal grill” is useless, the patio itself is wonderful and the outside real fireplace worked fine and was very nice. The walk to the lake and docks is a challenge. Downhill and then up steep rocky stairs, but good exercise. Not for the faint of heart or anyone who requires a wheelchair or has troubles walking up stairs. Owners should provide a propane grill as most vacation home owners do in the area. That would really make this a great place to stay.

The house was clean. Nice view of the lake, nice fire pit and internal and external fireplaces. Better directions regarding location of circuit boxes would have been helpful. The hot tub kept cutting off with a message stating maintenance needs. The company responded quickly to get someone out but it continued to happen even after his visit which was frustrating.

Great property! Loved hot tub Few key points: Steep decline and incline to and from the lake, house is in residential area and neighbors next door have dogs that bark constantly and are close to house . Pack extra of everything, no spices, paper products, etc that are usually left behind. There is an additional charge if you want to check in early as well.

Ski Shore Review

Overall it was an enjoyable experience at Ski Shore. The online description was accurate and my family and I enjoyed the outdoor areas immensely. That being said there were a few minor annoyances. One bed did not have sheets which we did not notice until nighttime. When I called the next morning the sheets were delivered by the end of business that day. One of the lamps in the master bedroom does not work. Also there is no pull chain on one of the living room fans, and when you turn on the light the fan is constantly on high. These items were not corrected during our stay after I reported them. There’s no cutting board or measuring cups or spoons in the kitchen. I liked the the company provides dish soap and dishwasher pods to get you started. Overall we had a great experience at Ski Shore.

Deep Creek July 2018

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a quaint, original lake cottage with original fixtures and decor along with a few upgrades. The outdoor space is great except for the many, many steps to the dock. Definitely not for the elderly or anyone with mobility issues. 4 out of 5 lights were out on patio and steps to dock so I had to replace bulbs. Hot tub was overflowing with a hose in it turned on when we got there and they did not give us the right code to get in so we were delayed by half hour. We thought we would have a dock slip as described but only got to tie up on other side of dock where a cleat was broken so had to secure boat a different way. Also killed large cockroach scuttling across bedroom floor first day.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We ultimately enjoyed our stay overall, but we had major issues with the condition of the exterior of the property when we arrived and had to spend the first two hours of our stay cleaning up before we wanted to even sit on any chairs. The debris from the trees and birds had not been cleaned off the deck or patio. Hot water from the kettle removed caked in bird poop from the entry. The patio table was very grimy. There were soda cans in the firepit by the water. Hand prints on the glass doors. It just seemed that the property had not been prepared for renters. I reported this when we arrived. A service person arrived 2 hrs later but we had taken care of it all by then. I was offered only to extend my stay by a few hours which we declined.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very enjoyable stay at this house. It’s best feature are the three stories of windows offering a wonderful of the lake. We had cool days and a lot of rain our week, yet could enjoy the views from indoors. It is situated on a long cove, our favorite spot on the lake. This is our second time renting on this cove. Both visits we have spent much time out on the lake, exploring in our canoe. It was steep to get it down to the lake, but worh it. I can see that updates have been made to the house like new kitchen appliances and furniture in the basement family room. The 2 couches in the main floor living room are greatly in need of replacement. The reclining mechanisms are either broken or need replacing. The area rugs on that floor are worn and dirty, also in need of immediate replacement. Great outdoor furniture on both decks, and down by the lake. The lower deck and steps to the lake are in need of a power wash. It was a very rainy summer and they have become mossy and developed a slick coating wooden steps and decks get. I slipped several times, and on our last evening slipped and fell. I did make Taylor Made aware of the need for a power wash so hopefully this was taken care of. The hot tub was great, but dirty when we arrived. I called and a cleaner was sent out the next afternoon. We would certainly stay in the house again.

If it had had a ramp down to the dock we would make this our vacation spot for years to come, but because of my husband 's handicap we want him to enjoy the lake too! The bathrooms could of stood a little attending to before we came other than that the place was clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great vacation experience. Location was perfect. Nice dock and deck. When we arrived none of the outside seating was prepared. All chairs were still covered, not clean, some had no cushions, fire "pit" area still under construction. When we opened the door the smell of the indoor fireplace was a bit overwhelming, as was the "wet" smell in the basement. The dehumidifier was working...overtime!! All this being said, due to the location, dock and deck, we would recommend to others.
