One chair in our room was slightly broken, you could only have the ac go to 70, and water was not contained well in bath. (Not to be confused with the bath tub.) It had a decent qmount of things to compensate though. Overall, pretty decent.

We had really good weather but our rental took away from the weekend The unit was missing basic condiments including could salt, aluminum foil, and plastic food wrap. I’m not sure if the bedroom sheets were washed. They had a smell to it. The mattress was uncomfortable and I could feel the springs. The elevator was broken so was unusable the entire weekend.

Great Access to Lake Chelan

The property is located near Lakeside Park, so you can walk to the beach. The back of our unit faced the lake, but we only had partial views of the lake because the Lakeside Lodge & Suites sits between the property and the lake. Although the unit is nice enough, some of the amenities were not so great: the bedroom was missing blinds and the handyman (who happened to be there when we walked in) taped some black-out blinds to the floor-to-ceiling windows. The TV was controlled by a universal remote from Radio Shack which I had to re-program because it wasn't working. There were broken glasses left in the cupboards, one of which was terribly sharp. The only other hiccup: our entry code stopped working, but our Vacasa contact rectified the situation immediately.

Unclean.

THE GOOD View was fantastic. We liked the kitchen and the 2BR/2BA setup. The deck was nice (but pretty sure we were the only unit without a grill. Maybe because it’s an ADA unit?) In-unit W/D was great! THE BAD HVAC would not cool below 70 degrees. It was HOT out, so the place stayed muggy. It rained and the elevator flooded, so we had to hoof it up and down three flights of stairs with our toddler. Dishes were dirty in the cabinet. Not a little; coated in filth dirty. Very gross. Floor was FILTHY. We walked around half the day outside in flip flops and our feet were clean. We walked barefoot in the unit for and hour and the soles of our feet were BLACK with filth. The place has never been mopped. We wore shoes the rest of the time and had to keep our toddler from playing on the floor at all. Bedding was old, frayed, and we were not confident it had been cleaned, especially due to the filth, cobwebs, and disrepair of the rest of the place. The bathrooms and kitchen (sans dishes) were clean, but the living room and bedrooms were sketchy.

Would not recommend staying here!

We had quite a few things go wrong in our time there and did not have much help at all to resolve any of the issues. To start it off the codes they gave us to enter the building didn’t work, we asked for help and only heard back that they gave us correct codes. So from then on out the rest of our week we just had to manually open the gate. Then on July 5th we were trying to sleep in from a late night but we’re woken up by a maintenance working just walking in demanding that she needs to let a crew in to work on the sprinkler system. She never even knocked. I asked for 15 min to get dressed, wake up my kids and get out the door but she proceeded to just rudely walk in 3 more times during that 15 minutes. Then the next morning we were woken up to the fire worms going off for an hour and a half. Lastly there were many items in the condo that were broken. The towel rack, the dryer was missing important buttons, the garbage disposal was broken and the sink was all backed up which was very gross. Lastly there was a dirty diaper under one of the beds. For the price we paid it was very frustrating. When I voiced my concerns to the number given all I got in response was we are sorry about that, do u need anything else? Definitely seemed like an automated response.

We enjoy our stay

Everything was sparkling clean except for the sofa bed. The sofa bed was not cleaned thoroughly. There were also no blinds in one of the bedrooms, which makes it hard to sleep when it is bright outside. But overall, the apartment has everything we need and we enjoy our stay here.

Nice place but a few issues

The location of this condo was great! Near a great park to hang out and swim, and within minutes to downtown. Overall the place was okay. Some things that we wish were better- communication was okay. For example, the parking passes were not where they were said to be. I reached out to Vacasa and they responded immediately. Eventually we got the issue solved and it was okay but that added stress as it said we needed a parking pass in the assigned spot in the garage so that we wouldn’t be towed. Also, on Sunday, our code was not working to get into the stairwell to get back to the condo. We had to call Vacasa and they told us that the code changes on Sundays and they gave us a new one. It would of been nice to get a message or phone call for a heads up, letting us know about the code change before we tried putting in the code multiple times to be frustrated and getting nowhere. Lastly, the master bedroom was nice but there were not any blinds on the windows. For some reason they were just sitting in the closet. We hung a sheet to give us some privacy. The place was a great location, a good size for 4 of us and was pretty nice. Vacasa was quick to respond, but it would have been nice to not have to contact them multiple times in the 3 days we stayed for our vacation.

Good location. Next to a waterfront park. As described. All the negatives were there were no sheets for the fold out couch, the blinds in the master bedroom did not seem to work in the makeshift curtains that were created did not stay up, and the lamp in the living room had a broken switch so you could not turn it on.

Great Chelan apartment.

Checkin process was all digital, zero human contact. Directions were clear. Apartment was clean and contained all the amenities. Deck has water view and easy walk to the park/beach. The deck needed some attention, bathroom door did not close properly, one of the toilets was plugged upon arrival and the bedroom blinds had been replaced with ill fitting curtains velcroed to the window.

Awesome weekend getaway

The property was clean and the manager was above and beyond helpful. The indoor pool and hot tub were so warm which makes this even more fun as a winter getaway compared to most places. The WiFi was excellent for streaming and video conference. Plenty of towels and blankets. Just wish they would stock with coffee and sugar (we were given fair warning to bring our own, but would be nice to provide).

Pleasant condo!

I’ve stayed at some rental units at other location where the pictures make the place look much nicer than it really is but not this place! I found it to be just as depicted online which was a pleasant surprise! It was clean, had great lighting, homey but still decorated tastefully & a great location in Spokane! The check in & out process was also really easy! I’d stay here again for sure!!

Not worth the money

Overall, the place was in a good location and had enough room for our family of 4. For the price, we were expecting this place to be worth it, but it just wasn’t even close. The check out at 10 and check in at 4 is because of the “enhanced cleaning” but it’s obvious our place wasn’t cleaned. There was hair all over the walls of the shower, socks from the previous guest left in the room, food and wrappers under the bed and couch, food on the bed comforter. Just not at all cleaned. Then there’s just general things you’d expect a unit to have, and this place just didn’t. Laundry machines but no detergent, coffee machine but no coffee, not enough soap for more than a night, the remote to work the tv didn’t work. It seemed like as the trip went on, it just got more surprising. The last thing is around communication. I got so many emails and text messages from different numbers letting me know about the trip. That was fine. But when I had a question about something, I replied to one of the texts and never got a response. One channel for direct communication would have been nice. I’ve never been disappointed with how AirBNB does it, communicating with the owner directly. This was not at all like that. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the price was significantly cheaper because all the hassle just isn’t worth the money.

Well appointed

We arrived at our resort site at 6:00 pm. Our access codes for the gates didn’t work. The office was closed. No phone number was available. Finally we found an access point through the parking garage level. The next day I spoke with three other families who also said their codes didn’t work on the gate. They too could access from the garage elevators. Once we were in the room our room was nice with a small balcony looking at another hotel and the lake. The washing machine needs repair. It’s spin cycle is off balance and very very loud. The hide a bed is very uncomfortable. The springs are thicker than the mattress and poke through your shoulder blades and lower back. The two bathrooms both have broken toilet seats which swivel. Lake Chelan is a beautiful area and we didn’t spend much time in this unit.
